Solar Throne
Kitchen

Gina woke up from her sleep. He saw a wall clock in his room showing it at six in the morning. It was too early for him to wake up. So Gina pulled the blanket back to her head.

It was raining so hard last night that it left very cold air this morning. Gina still wants to be lazy in bed. But somehow his eyes could not be closed again even though he had forced himself.

Finally, unable to bear the confusing circumstances between waking up or going back to sleep, Gina decides to get up and get out of her room. Gina went down the stairs and saw the atmosphere of her house was still quiet. He was sure Surya must be running in the morning. His parents also exercised in the morning. Either take a walk around the housing complex or cycle around.

Indeed, since no longer working, Mr. Rangga and Bu Marina really enjoyed their time well. Exercise in the morning and relax or take a walk together throughout the day. They do it like they want to pay for their busy time during youth.

Gina crossed the kitchen when she heard the sound of something being put in a frying pan on the sidelines of a dangdut song voiced from a speaker owned by Mbak Yuyun who when buying it entered Gina at that time. Gina caught a glimpse but then stopped to see who was wearing an apron in the kitchen.

"Surya?" Gina muttered as she walked closer to the kitchen.

"Surya, what are you doing here?" Surya who was holding a spatula so shocked suddenly Gina was already beside him.

"Oh Miss..." Surya looks nervous. He placed the spatula on the frying pan with two fish swimming over the hot oil.

"Miss why are you awake?"

"You think I'm a snow princess who can't get up on her own and has to wait for the handsome prince to come wake me up with his kiss?" Gina nagging.

"That's a children's fairytale, miss." Surya chuckled at Gina who seemed to be being unfriendly this morning. Whether because of the aftermath of the nightmare or the coming month, this morning Gina was in fierce fashion.

"It's up to me to wake up at any hour. It's none of your business." Gina's still sniffing.

"All right, Miss." Surya flipped the two fish over the frying pan. The oil was blowing in and out and even hit Gina. Gina screamed in a scream avoiding the burst of oil reaching her skin.

"Hey, this is about me. What exactly are you doing here? Where's Ms Yuyun?" Gina had already walked back a few steps from there. The dangdut song still plays with a sad tone. Somehow tumben once playlist mbak mbak Yuyun contains a slow song, not a cheerful song and full of beat as usual.

"Where.where, Miss. Here wash with water so as not to blister." Surya pulls Gina into the dishwasher. Gina complied because she saw Surya as sweet as that. There was a mischievous idea in his head to prank Surya. Gina flashed a mischievous smile as Surya was busy washing his arms.

"It must be washed like this so as not to blister, Miss." Said Surya still washing Gina's arm under the tap water.

"Indeed won't blister." Gina said relaxed. Surya then looked at Gina's reddened face while holding back a laugh.

"I'm fine." Gina smiled looking at Surya who was dumbfounded to see her.

"I wasn't really exposed to oil." Now Gina laughed. Seen Surya breathed a sigh of relief. Seeing that Gina increasingly wanted to laugh because it had made Surya worried.

Somehow seeing that Gina was so happy. Surya's worried expression made her happy. Perhaps this is called being happy over the suffering of others. But that was what Gina felt. Surya's every concern and concern made him feel at ease.

"Are you sure you didn't get any oil splashes?" Surya examined Gina's arm she had just washed. Gina shook her head with the smile she still had on her lips.

"Thank God." Surya then took off Gina's arm and once again breathed a sigh of relief.

Panic Face of Solar is very funny. Very different than usual. Surya's calm attitude even when he almost lost his contract with investors did not look that sweet. He was used to being calm and very relaxed. So when you see Surya as sweet as it is, it gives a unique view for Gina.

"Miss better not be here."

"Why throw me out? Why are you here anyway? Where is Ma'am Yuyun? Can you cook? What about the scorch later? If salty? Lf..."

"Solar is a cook, Miss." Yuyun's mother finally entered the kitchen.

"I've just dried the laundry, Miss." It's obviously Yuyun.

"What is this sister Yuyun? Why entrust the kitchen to a non-expert?"

"No expert how, miss. Than me, Mr. Surya is very good at cooking."

"From that time, Ms. Yuyun praised Surya continuously. Is he that good?" Gina looked at Surya and was met with a big smile by Surya.

"That time Miss said the chicken porridge was delicious. It was made by Mr. Surya. And also fried rice every morning that always makes Pak Rangga add every breakfast, it is also made by Mr. Surya, Miss." Clearly, Ma'am Yuyun was excited.

"Oh yeah? Really true?" Gina widened her eyes in disbelief at what Mbak Yuyun said.

Gina recalled the taste of the dishes spoken of by Ms. Yuyun. All of that cooking tastes really good. So Gina doesn't believe that it was Surya who made her. Surya was still busy flipping through the fish on the frying pan as Gina looked at him in awe. Madam Yuyun who saw that became smiling.

"Suryas? After washing, sweeping, mopping and now cooking, what else can you do? You're really a man, aren't you?" Gina pulled up Surya's sleeves with her two fingertips asking for attention while talking to Surya. Surya also looked. Maam Yuyun who cut the vegetables held back a laugh hearing that.

"Yes Miss, I'm 100% a man." Surya replied while looking at Gina.

"There are no specific men's and women's jobs right now, Miss. A cleaning service consisting of men and women also works with all the cleaning tools. The chefs in the restaurant were also mostly men. So, actually the job belongs to anyone and knows no gender, Miss."

"You're right, I'm the only woman who can't do all that." Murmured Gina with a distant look. Surya smiled seeing Gina dumbly so.

"Alright, the fried tilapia is ready. Now it's just the sauce." The phrase Surya breaks Gina's daydream.

"Sir Yuyun, where was the ingredient for the sauce?"

"Oh this, sir." Mbak Yuyun approached Surya to deliver a plate of ingredients to sambal. Gina had seen on the plate there are onions, garlic, large chili, cayenne pepper and also tomatoes. Gina also just found out this time that it was all the ingredients to make the chili she used to eat.

"Awhile..." Gina forbade Surya to put the ingredients in the frying pan. Surya undoes his intentions.

"What's up, Miss?"

"You sure you can make sambal? I think let only Yuyun do it. Don't you. It will not taste good."

"But yesterday when you ate fried chicken with sambal, you said it was delicious."

"That patch is also your sambal?" Surya nodded.

"Well, you're not supposed to be the president of R-Company but the chef." Gina laughs. Surya laughed. Ms. Yuyun was a fool and she just had to chop vegetables in front of her.

"Alright, prove it right that what was true yesterday is your cooking.

"Well Miss, don't let you miss even one step." Surya was a little bragging. Gina was singing her lips.

"Please wait here so that you don't get any more oil splashes." Surya holds both of Gina's shoulders and makes her sit on one of the chairs in the kitchen.

"Well, don't let the jury get upset when trying your cooking."

"Okay, let's see." Surya rolled his eyes at Gina. Instantly Gina's heart was like a tingling sensation. It's sweet when Surya's clenching like that. Sun's brown eyes made it melt.

Surya inserts sambel materials for steaming. Next while waiting for the sauce to mature, Surya arranged the fried fish on the plate. Vegetables that have been cleaned by Mother Yuyun also he arranged on the plate. Leaves of lettuce, basil, cucumber, eggplant, and long beans are there beautifully arranged. Gina saw with her own eyes how Surya did all that very well. Suddenly his stomach felt strange. There was a tickling sensation but it did not make him laugh. There was nausea but it didn't make him want to vomit. Somehow but it feels like Gina knows her feelings of falling in love with Surya have reached an advanced stage.

"Surya..." Call Gina from where she sits.

"Yes Miss." Surya was busy lifting the sambal material that he steamed earlier for the next he put on the cobek to be smoothed.

"Why are you good at doing things even for cooking?"

"That's because I'm used to it, miss." Surya answered while pouring salt and sugar into the sauce that he would puree.

"When you and Mom are in the fields, I have to cook for our meal, Miss. Mother and Father went to the rice fields early in the morning. So after I take the water, I cook before I go to school."

"Oh yeah? Did you do that before you went to school?"

"True Miss."

"What time do you have to get up?"

"I used to get up at three in the morning, Miss. Then I take the water in the new river after that cook, clean the house and get ready for school." Hearing that Gina remembered how she used to be a schoolboy. Wake up very relaxed and always enter the school gate right when the bell rings. Surya is really a diligent boy. Not like him.

Gina remembers what Mother Surya said as she tried to help cook in the kitchen.

"Mom was so grateful to have only one child and that was a boy. Although Surya is a boy but he is much better than a girl. He never let us crack ourselves. He helps with all our work. He's a very devoted son." Praise Mother Surya.

At that time Gina thought that because Surya could sweep, mop or wash as Gina knew she was doing in her house at that time. But it turns out even Surya can cook as well. Gina really admired Surya more and more now.

"Surya. So what exactly can't you do?" Ask Gina again. Surya looked at Gina. For a moment Surya seemed to think.

"Come Miss. I always try it first and then learn and then be able to."

"So, does that mean you can also like people who can't even do what's supposed to be their job?"

"Sorry, Miss?" Surya frowned not understanding the direction of Gina's conversation.
