Alfin stared at the doorway, fixedly staring at the figure of Naina sitting while looking at him. The woman even looked ordinary, while she desperately held back a desire that continued to wrangle and rebel.
"Why? Why are you looking at me like that?" naina asked him with an innocent face. Does he not understand, or pretend not to understand?
Alfin growled, involuntarily clutching his hand tightly against the doorknob he was holding. He closed his eyes, and he was powerless to resist all calls.
"Alfin?" naina's reprimand made the man's stiff body jump because the wife had stood in line with him.
Alfin gulped down the saliva, soaking the throat which suddenly dried up. A large sweat of corn kernels sprung up around the temple. It was so painful to hold back all desire.
"Naaina?" Trembling and shrieking Alfin mentioned his wife's name.
He stepped in, closing the door without turning away from Naina's paled face. Realizing a dangerous situation for him.
"What do you want?"
The shadow of two people who were about to harass her first suddenly appeared, traumatizing Naina back. He shook his head, tears falling all by themselves.
"No! No!" Naina dropped down while covering her face. Crying hysterically while constantly raving.
"Astaghfirullah al-adhiim! Naina!"
Alfin panicked, at the edge of the body as he was about to hug Naina.
"Don't! Please don't do that. I beg!" naina's cries as she buried her head on her knees.
The desire turned into confusion. Alfin was sculpting, staring confusedly at his wife who was suddenly hysterical.
"Alfin! Help me!" lirih Naina mentioned her name.
Alfin was increasingly confused, as he was before him now.
"Naaina! It's me, Alfin! I'm Alfin, Naina!" he said out loud.
Hearing Alfin's name, Naina raised her face that had been flooded with tears. Looking for Alfin who had called his name.
"Alfin!" Naina shuddered calling out that name.
"Yes, Naina. It's me." It's me." Alfin refrained from approaching.
Naina stood up from her seat, and rushed into the man's arms.
"Alfin! I fear. I'm scared, Alfin. I'm scared." Naina was whipping in the man's arms.
Now, Alfin was aware of the situation that was happening. The state of the room that became dim after the door was closed made Naina return that night. The night where his honor was almost taken away by two irresponsible people.
"Srush! Don't cry, don't cry! I'm here, I'm here, baby." Alfin returned the wife's embrace, rubbing her trembling back.
A sense of calm was slowly present in Naina's heart, gradually she realized the state of the moment. Naina tightened her embrace, sobs subsided by themselves.
"No one will ever hurt you again, Naina. You're my wife now" whispered Alfin as he kissed the woman's head covered in hijab.
"sorry. I was suddenly so scared that night." Naina was a little embarrassed.
Alfin took off a hug, his right hand rubbing both of Naina's wet cheeks. He smiled understandably, the incident was certainly imprinted in Naina's memory.
"It's okay. Sorry about me too. I forgot that you had a trauma" Alfin said, pulling Naina's head down in her chest.
The warmth that flowed further made Naina feel peaceful. He smiled, his circle of hands strengthening in Alfin's body. Don't want to miss anymore.
Naina turned her head, looking at Alfin without removing the circle of hands.
"Have you had breakfast? I brought a lot of breakfast. Children also eat," he asked with a spoiled attitude to make Alfin flower.
Alfin shook his head, lowered his head and looked at his wife's bead.
"Not yet."
"I'd like another breakfast, would you?" Alfin stared fixedly at Naina's bead.
A frown on the woman's forehead appeared, visibly confused by her husband's remarks.
"What?" ask Naina plain.
Alfin's hands were raised, palpating the surface of Naina's cheek skin. Then, it stopped right on the woman's lips.
"By, I ...."
Back then, when Alfin was a street kid, the delinquents called him. He often sees his colleagues doing this in front of everyone without awkwardness and embarrassment. Alfin often noticed, though never did.
Naina lowered her head, dodging Alfin's gaze that tore through her defenses. Alfin's index finger raised Naina's chin, making their faces face back to face. Just like her friend had done, the man brought the face closer to Naina.
Reflexively, Naina's eyes closed. Preparing to accept new things that are commonplace for married couples. Alfin opened his lips, gently frowning the chewy thing. Naina's blood rippled, involuntarily her fingers gripping Alfin's jacket firmly.
The soft touch made him float, drift and carried away by the flow of the man's game.
Dor-dor-dor's!
"Dad, Mother! Are you guys inside?" The sound of Halwa's screams left their eyes open.
Alfin took off the pagutan, Naina moved away while looking down to cover her heated face. It allows the hijab and the shirt it wears. Likewise with Alfin, berdehem neutralizes his heart.
"Dad! Mama! Why hide inside?" halwa shouted again with Alfin's breath. He glanced at Naina, the woman chuckled small while covering her mouth.
Alfin lazily opened the door, the little girl barged inside with a big smile.
"Why hide here?" Those little eyes scanned their reddened faces, "Why is Dad's face as red as I was. What are you guys doing?" his fad was again met with a crisp Naina laugh.
He approached the little girl, squatting nearby while rubbing Halwa's small arm.
"Halwa's gone to school? Who's home? It's still morning." Naina glanced at the clock in Alfin's room, only 08:30 in the morning, should the Children's Garden not come home yet.
"Yes, Mommy. Halwa joined friends, because today there is a meeting at school. So, the school is only a short time," Halwa replied as she handed a letter to Naina.
"This is from the teacher's mother, he said he should be loved by Mother or Father," said Halwa looking at the two in turn.
"Come, out!" Alfin led them to the kitchen of the mosque, sitting on the floor and opening the provisions that Naina brought.
"This is a notification letter. There's a meeting with the student guardians Wednesday. Are you usually present?" Naina folded the letter and handed it to Alfin.
The man was devouring his food, hungry for something that could not be channeled.
"Ultimately, yes. Now, isn't there you. So you're the one who left. I want to start work tomorrow" said Alfin lifting a spoon near Naina's mouth.
The woman was stunned, glancing at Halwa who frowned confusedly.
"Open your mouth, he says he hasn't eaten. Let me give you a bribe" said Alfin wiggling the spoon.
Naina opened her mouth, devouring the food without taking her eyes off Halwa's sharp eyes.
"A!" Halwa opened her mouth, asking Alfin to feed her.
"You haven't eaten yet?" The man looked at him.
"Udah, but Halwa wants to be fed by Dad like Mom," he said with a smile.
Alfin sighed, that was what it was like to have a young child.
"Why does Halwa know you're here?" alfin asked as he put rice into his mouth.
"See the send. Halwa's looking for Mom, but look at Dad's sandals too."
The two glanced at the two pairs of sandals lying in front of the room.
