"MAINE!"
"No! Naina, don't do it! No, Naina! No!" racau Alfin in his sleep.
The sweat flooded his entire body until the clothes he was wearing got wet. An agitated and anxious roar imprinted clearly on his face, Alfin was carried away by the stream of nightmares.
"Son Alfin! Awake, Son! Istighfars." Ustadz Hasan patted the young man's cheeks softly, waking him from a disturbing nightmare.
However, Alfin still continued to concoct Naina's name. With a trembling mouth, tears mixed with sweat fused into a deep sense of panic.
"Naina, don't go!" pinta Alfin while sobbing sadly.
"Astaghfirullah al-adhiim! Get me a glass of water, "pinta Ustadz Hasan to one of Alfin's foster children who was there. His hand took Alfin's phone and looked at Naina's picture on the screen. He shook his head while breathing.
One of the children ran out of the father's room, went to the ablution faucet and fetched water using a plastic cup. Bring him back to Ustadz Hasan quickly.
"Naaina! Don't leave! I'm sorry, Naina!" Lisan Alfin still continued to rummage incessantly calling Naina's name while crying.
"Son Alfin! Wake up! Athaghfirullah, O Allah!" Ustadz Hasan rubbed his own face, inexhaustible thought Alfin who always sat in the mosque was so washed away with his feelings.
"Ustadz, the water." A cup of water was received by the ustadz, he read al-fatihah to the water before taking it a little and rubbing it into Alfin's face. While reciting the shahadah and sholawat, also protection from the temptation of the shethan and His other creatures.
Alfin began to come to a realization, his agitated body gradually silent. Similarly to her anxious pale face, it slowly began to calm down.
"Wake, Son! Istighfar. Astaghfirullah al-'adhiim!" pinta Ustadz Hasan rubbed the water on his face again.
Alfin took a deep breath, exhaling it slowly.
"Astaghfirullah al-adhiim! Astaghfirullah al-'adhiim!" it was slow and shaking.
He rubbed his face, slowly sitting up with an erratic feeling. His head lowered, recalling the nightmare that the stone had just experienced.
The ustadz's gentle sweep on his back gave a calmness that slowly seeped into Alfin's soul. It gave him a sense of peace, but the dream he had just experienced, really felt real.
"Son Alfin what dream? Shouted until it sounded outside," asked the ustadz softly. His hand shook, asking all of Alfin's children to come out of the foster father's room.
They said the biggest one invited the little one to come out and gather in front of Alfin's room.
"Astaghfirullah al-adhiim! I feel guilty, Mr. Ustadz. I felt guilty for leaving Naina and never coming again, when I said the same she wanted to stay there take care of her. I'm very sinful, Mr. Ustadz," Alfin's rag covered his face with both hands.
Back in tears, she remembers her sin of leaving Naina without certainty.
"Istighfar, son Alfin. Calm yourself and your heart first, ask God for guidance. Do not get dissolved in the feelings that will invite shethan to enter and interfere in it. Istighfar!" said Mr. Ustadz warned Alfin.
Alif shook his head while saying the sentence istighfar with a vibrating speech. The dream he just had was very disturbing.
"Astaghfirullah al-adhiim! Relax, Son. It was just a dream. It is better to wait until morning comes, then Nak Alfin went to the girl to the hospital," Ustadz Hasan sergeant considering that the night is almost at its peak.
Alfin fidgets, fumbling around the bed looking for his cell phone.
"Try calling first. Ask him how he is doing now?" pinta ustadz while handing over the phone that Alfin was looking for.
"Yes, Ustadz." Alfin received the flat object, turned it on and looked at the clock. The picture of Naina smiling directly welcoming Alfin made her heart sizzle with pain.
He tried to call Naina. Once, twice, three times, the number he was running at remained out of range. He sighed, his shoulders sagging down lethargic. Tears fell back on the sheath she was wearing.
"Not active, Mr. Ustadz." His head shook weakly, not knowing what to do.
"Swimming, Son. It is better for Nak Alfin to take ablution and perform the four raka'at prayers that are missed. Do not leave the sun, ask Allah for guidance. Surely Allah is the best place to complain" said Mr. Ustadz as he went from beside Alfin.
"Astaghfirullah al-adhiim! Astaghfirullah al-'adhiim!" Alfin closed his face again, he fell asleep until the time isya.
Alfin followed Ustadz Hasan, who left the room first. Her heart was in pain as Alfin's eyes caught several small figures sitting with the ustadz.
"Are you not sleeping?" ask Alfin not well.
The four children shook their heads, they felt anxious and were unable to close their eyes when they heard Alfin's shouting voice.
"We can't sleep, Dad. I kept screaming for Mom. Why is Naina's mother, Dad? I haven't played here in a long time. What does Zalfa really say when you're sick?" ask one of the children whose body is the largest among the four children.
Alfin sighed, approaching them before going to the ablution. He stared at one by one of those faces, the innocent faces that accompanied his hijra trip.
"That's right. Your mother is sick again. It'll be noon after school, we'll see mom there." Alfin smiled, holding back his sliced feelings. Still deserves to be Naina's companion after leaving without news like a coward.
They smiled, some moments felt like they had a whole family with Naina present, but a few days passed and the woman never showed her nostrils creating longing in the vacuum of their heart.
"Now you should sleep again, it's still late at night. So that tomorrow will be fresher when you visit mom," Alfin asked them.
The four children left obediently, greeting the two with joyful hearts. Hope tomorrow will come soon, can't wait to see their mother.
Now, only two men of different ages remain in the mosque. Ustadz Hasan stared fixedly at Alfin's face which at first glance seemed to be so agitated.
"Then, what does Alfin want to do?" tanyanya felt that the young man's heart was already much calmer than before.
"Bismilbornrahmanirrahim. God willing, I will marry Naina soon, Ustadz. I don't want to procrastinate anymore" said Alfin confidently.
Ustadz Hasan nodded his head with a smile. Before moving on he gave Alfin a warning, "Remember! Whatever the size of the waves. Never jump off a ship."
The old man left Alfin alone. Devour and digest the words of the ustadz to be infused by it.
