Teach Me (Naina)

Teach Me (Naina)
Chapter 70

"Bas!" Alfin called his friend who was on guard that night.

Something he remembered and forgot to say. He thought that what he remembered was important in the development of his case.

"What's wrong?" The bus approached the room where Alfin was, they stood blocked by the door. Talking through a hole is just enough to show your face.

Alfin bit his lips, thinking and weighing his need to do it.

"Alfin?" reprimand Bas jerks Alfin's body from the reverie.

The young man raised his face, looking at his best friend doubtfully. For some reason, he himself was not sure to say it.

"Are the police still investigating the case?" alfin asked despite a little hope, he should give it a try.

"I'm the one assigned to solve this case. Actually just waiting for a trial because the suspect has been arrested. All charges refer to you, Fin," Bas said, looking with pity at his friend.

Alfin lowered his head, taking a long breath.

"I had one more witness that night .. No, maybe two." Alfin thought about whether the two could be of use in the trial later.

The bus sparkled, as much as possible he would thoroughly investigate the case that befell Alfin.

"Who?" tanyanya is impatient.

"But I doubt if this is useful? I'm not sure about it myself" Alfin said in despair.

The bus opened the door, went back inside. Invite Alfin to sit on the floor, talking about what he knows.

"Whatever it is, say it. We don't know which one will be useful for the trial. Don't despair, Fin. God doesn't like it" he said, making Alfin sober.

Right, don't give up. He must be sure that God will guide what is right and what is wrong.

"You know the boutique across from my shop?" Alfin looked at his friend's face.

The young policeman nodded his head.

"The boutique owner told Naina to go to the scene to deliver the order. Naina works there, that night I went looking for her there. He said since afternoon Naina left. Also the largest house on the scene, the receiver of the goods. Can both be useful?" alfin asked a little hoping that the two would ease the punishment.

Without thinking, Bas nodded his head. He patted Alfin's shoulder giving him strength as well as confidence.

"I'll go investigate. You take it easy, they are also quite powerful witnesses. Hopefully we can work with the police" Bas said with certainty.

Alfin smiled, lucky that the one who investigated the case was his own friend so he could freely talk to him. The bus moved, once again looking towards Alfin before closing the door.

That night he went to the boutique to find out the truth of what Alfin had told him.

On the back porch of the house, Naina was pensive alone. Overlooking the swimming pool which is almost equivalent to the pools in public places. Sit hugging knees in a recliner.

Halwa, are you looking for Mom? I miss him.

Naina smiled faintly at the thought of her friendship with the little girl. They are like mothers and children, although not married she can already feel like a mother.

"How's Alfin doing? Did he come back to the hospital?" He exhaled, continued to ponder and drift in daydreams until he did not realize that Adrian was behind him.

The man looked at Naina. He had often seen his son daydream alone, but did not dare to rebuke. He was just afraid that Naina was not happy when she asked this and that. However, this time, Adrian's heart gets the urge to do his duty as a father.

"Darling!" he nodded and sat down beside Naina.

"Father." Naina lowered both legs, looking down without wanting to meet the papa.

"I'm sorry Papah, but lately Papah has seen you daydream. Not only Papah, Mamah also often saw you sitting alone here. If you don't mind, may Papah know what your problem is, dear?" adrian said attentively.

Naina sighed, forgetting that she now had a whole family even though she could not be called a bladder. Naina raised her face, looking fixedly at Adrian by her side.

"Nai, miss the kids at the mosque, Pah. Nai was just thinking, are they looking for Naina? That's it," said the girl a little secret Alfin's problem and his heart.

Adrian looks at the two warm beads Naina, a bead that reminds him of the figure of a woman who had a romance with him, Lita.

"You're just missing them, we'll stop by. Don't daydream alone anymore, Mama needs a friend to chat inside. Or you can swim with Papah again if you work," suggested Adrian while wiping Naina's head covered with instant hijab.

Naina nodded her head, her lips smiling despite being forced. The girl still felt awkward, she did not even dare to touch the items that were in the mansion. Adrian's smile receded when he remembered something he wanted to ask Naina.

"Nai, Papah heard you were the victim of abuse the night before Papah came. Is that what makes you daydream often?" adrian asked for certainty about the news he heard from Sumiyati.

Naina opened her lips slightly, surprised that the man knew what was happening, but then she realized that maybe everything should be open.

"Almost, Pah. They did not have time to harass Nai because there were people who helped. If he comes late, maybe it can happen" Naina said, turning her face away from him.

He sighed, it had been the past few days trying to forget about that incident. However, still, the shadow of the two men who were about to harass her continued to cross over and disturb Naina.

"Thank God, Papah is so grateful to the man who saved you." Adrian smiled gratefully as Naina had not been harassed.

It's Alfin, Papah. Naina's husband-to-be, but don't know now if she still thinks of me as her future wife?

Naina is heartbroken, sore and sliced when the shadow of Alfin doubting her speech arises in the mind. He sighed again, too heavy a burden to bear his frail shoulders.

Since childhood, his life was full of struggles, the world treated him harshly. Not a second Naina can enjoy her childhood to play and have fun like other children.

Adrian brazes a look at her son's face, promising inwardly to solve Naina's case. Her current task is to make Naina feel safe living together in that house.

"Come, in. Papah wants to go to work, Mamah with Bi Sum again in front of the television." Adrian moves on, waiting for Naina to get up from sitting down.

The girl stood up and followed behind the papah who led her to the family room. He said goodbye to everyone, leaving them as usual. There were things he had to investigate in the store.
