"I don't know who my biological father is? Where is he? Are you still alive or have you been mowing the ground? I don't know. Because of this problem, I have been rejected twice by men who want to propose to me, even they humbled me and insulted my mother. Until I finally had to lose my life forever. My mother died, and I was alone."
In the midst of the conversation, someone came as a surprise. He nodded at Alfin's shoulder suddenly while smothering his mouth. Listening to the words Naina said.
Alfin turned his back with a face looking up, held his hands and was about to be released. However, after seeing who had come, the young man became silent. Nodding after the mysterious figure asked him not to speak. He placed his index finger on his lips as a signal to Alfin.
The two were solemn to hear, occasionally the figure kissed Alfin's head in love. Looks happy and friendly.
"You can't accept me, so at least reject me well. Don't insult me let alone humiliate me."
The figure behind Alfin's body moved, and sat down among them. He heard everything Naina said. Alfin still could not believe the arrival of his figure, an unexpected surprise. The young man smiled, letting her talk to Naina.
"Who said? Alfin is not a good person either. People call him a delinquent, a punk kid, loves wild racing, and all the other delinquents. He has a dark past, you should know that," said the person jerking Naina's body, he even whispered at the end of the sentence making Naina bristle.
The girl jumped up, got up from her seat and turned around quickly. Scars of crying still imprinted on his face, his eyes were blank, his lips opened a little surprised instead of playing.
His eyeballs rolled, staring alternately at the two people sitting side by side. They look a little similar.
"Who are you?" asked Naina nervously.
His gaze changed towards Alfin, losing faith in his figure. He thought that no one else would hear them, but the arrival of a woman in shari'i clothes annoyed Naina.
"Quiet, baby. Don't look at Alfin like that. He didn't know I was coming either. Be seated! Right here! Close to Brother, don't go far," he asked as he patted the gazebo floor he had just sat on.
Naina was still standing restlessly there. Staring at the two with an incomparable feeling of shame.
"Don't be afraid! I'm Khadijah, Alfin's first brother. Do you want to hear Alfin's past? He is not a sealim right now. Want to show me the picture? Here, don't be afraid. We laugh at Alfin equally, "he asked again because he saw Naina's unexpected reaction.
Intention wanted to surprise, but in fact made the girl feel uncomfortable. Alfin nodded his head as their gaze met. Ask Naina to obey the request of her brother through the eyes.
The hand of the sholihah woman stretched out, gently touching Naina's slightly rough fingers. Interestingly slowly, inevitably Naina followed her pull to sit in her original place. He stroked the back of the girl's hand, treating her well.
"Now, look at it!" he said while showing pictures of Alfin on his phone.
A row of photos of Alfin with a leather jacket on a modified motorbike, he can see clearly. Torn jeans, necklace accessories filled her neck. Hair is made like the top of the Pyramid, colorful like a rainbow.
Secretly Naina smiled, Khadija glanced at him and also pinned a smile. The girl began to calm down, and was able to accept his arrival.
"Where do you think? It's not the same, is it, kayaking now?" tanyanya asked for an opinion.
The lady dressed in syar'i sighed, then placed the phone on her lap. Staring at the sky with many bright white clouds.
"Everyone has their own story. The past we have, the future we have to face. You're with your own story, Alfin with his own. We are not made perfect without defects, in fact no human is perfect because the Prophet as the holiest human ever did khilaf."
He sighed again, feeling pity for the life story Naina told him. Then turned to Naina, gently touching the girl's hand.
"Every child is born in a state of holiness. There is no such thing as an illegitimate child because the illegitimate is the act of his parents. The fate that befalls a person is not of his own will, but the message that God has outlined as a test during his life in this world."
Naina raised her face, looking at the two shady beads before her. Alfin listened carefully, looking down solemnly not interrupting at all.
"You're a good girl, if I see your life is hard since childhood. You deserve to be happy, baby. Don't keep locked up in the past that makes you sad. Hearing your story, I felt touched. You dare reveal who you are, which is not necessarily another woman capable of." Khadijah touched Naina's cheek gently.
She's a mother, a good sister.
"They shouldn't do that to you. You're right, if you can't accept at least reject it well. Do not insult or demean. I agree, because you don't deserve to be denigrated. You are a respectable woman just like any other Muslim. Do not consider yourself inferior to other women. You, me, we're all the same. Both have degrees and honor."
Naina's heart warms, her tears falling uninvited. Moved because for the first time, she was accepted as a heartless girl. The woman's smile was so gentle and soothing, Naina felt at peace being nearby.
"Alfin is lucky to be able to pick up your future wife. Honest, brave, and certainly tough. It is not easy to lose the figure we love, but it does not make us lose the back of life forever. We have and always have been, God. A sure place to complain. A confiding friend who will not open the disgrace that we tell. Don't lose faith in life, trust your brother. Alfin must feel proud of you in his heart," the woman concluded as she glanced at Alfin who closed her eyes and smiled faintly.
"Don't suggest, don't get too close to him. Want to come with Brother?" take it to Naina.
Alfin opened his eyes quickly, his body stiffening as the elder brother was about to take Naina away. They had just met after a few days he chose to remain silent inside the mosque.
Alfin turned to his brother, looking at Khadijah sharply. The good woman rubbed her sister's face while chuckling in anxiety.
"No need to glare at you, brother. Brother wants to take this brother-in-law's sister-in-law away first. There's something to be fixed. You stay here, a lot of work. Don't worry!" khadijah was ended by laughter.
Alfin was speechless, staring at their departure with his mouth open. She still misses Naina, still wants to see her face, her smile, also hear her voice.
"Why brought, anyway?" He complained, dropping the body on the gazebo floor.
Her lips smiled remembering the brother who was very open with Naina. He rolled over, staring at the backs of the two women who were getting further away. Alfin waved his hand as Naina looked back. The girl smiled shyly, then pulled the sister into the car.
"Astaghfiullah! So cool to be a sister!" scowling.
