Teach Me (Naina)

Teach Me (Naina)
Chapter 46

Anton stepped out getting rid of the ego in him. After thinking very hard and long, he decided to go to the mosque and apologize to Naina. Various reasons have been prepared, to convince Alfin as well as his parents. The main one is Naina.

White shirt, black pants, shiny black shoes, always attached to his body. He crossed the road to the mosque, preparing himself to humble himself.

Anton's steps stopped just before entering the mosque courtyard. On the terrace of the mosque, Ustadz Hasan stood monitoring the state of the children. He smiled and nodded slowly when he saw Naina's superior standing outside the courtyard of the mosque.

The man went down the stairs, left the terrace of the mosque and approached Anton who seemed hesitant to step into the courtyard of the mosque.

"Assalamu'alaikum!" greet ustadz with a friendly.

"Wa-waa'alaikumussalaam, Ustadz," greeted Anton as he looked inside the mosque area. Maybe he's looking for Naina.

"What's up, kid? Is there something this kid is looking for?" ask mr. ustadz. His face made Anton's head lowered.

"I'm looking for Naina, sir. My employees," said Anton increasingly down prestige in front of the male victim.

Ustadz Hasan sighed, getting closer and closer to the manager. He watched Anton, staring deeply at the two black beads in front of him.

"Do you understand what happened? If not, you should think again because I think the girl was traumatized," Ustadz Hasan said while commenting on a friendly smile.

Anton raised his gaze, staring at the brown bead belonging to the pak ustadz who was mendifkan. He sighed, too long looking into his eyes made Anton feel uneasy. It was as if he was being skinned alive.

"I just want to apologize to him, sir. I thought about it, and what I did was wrong. I'm really sorry, " said Anton despite not really mean it from the bottom of his heart.

Ustadz Hasan nodded his head, not understanding or not knowing. He only appreciates the good intentions of Naina's superiors even though they are not based on sincerity.

"But are you ready to accept Alfin's anger? I think his heart is still heating up. I was worried that he could not control himself and was out of control like he was that night. He almost finished off the three thugs who defended him" said Mr. Ustadz as he examined his facial lines.

Anton was stunned, his body automatically responding to Ustadz Hasan's speech. Tense up and suddenly become nervous. Especially when he saw the old man's eyes.

"Yes, let me drop off" said Ustadz Hasan as he led Anton to the pendopo where everyone was gathering.

Anton followed Ustadz Hasan into the mosque area. His heart pounded as he moved closer to the gathering. Ustadz Hasan invited Anton to approach and express the intention of his arrival, while he stood not far from the pendopo to pay attention.

Anton nodded his head in thanks without a word. He stepped forward a few feet from the place. Staring at Naina with a sudden sense of guilt. Especially when he saw the girl's wrists that flushed the scars of her hands.

Anton sighed, preparing his heart to accept all the possibilities that could have happened.

"Sorry, am I interrupting?" Anton's voice rang out trembling, nervous and embarrassed into one.

The joy of all the children instantly disappeared, turning silent and silent. They all turned their heads, now in pairs of eyes aimed at him. The more nervous Anton is. Especially when Alfin's body turned around quickly, widening dislike.

"What else do you want here?" ask him while refraining from landing a blow on the man's face.

Anton took a sip of saliva, he knew Alfin was holding back his anger. Luckily, the young man was good at self-control. Otherwise, his fist must have landed on his face.

"Sorry to disturb. I came here just to apologize to Naina. I'm out of control and I'm really sorry for that." Anton dropped a glance at Alfin's two eyes that were blushing drastically.

His clenched fingers indicate he is muffling overflowing emotions. Naina lowered her head, clutching Halwa's body to dispel the fear in her heart.

"Are you sure you really regretted everything?" alfin asked doubtful of Anton's arrival.

"Come on! Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone deserves a chance to be forgiven. I admitted to being wrong, and I realized my mistake. I regret. Naina, I'm sorry, " said Anton with a parched face as he stared at Naina.

"You're right, son. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a chance to make them right. Let him apologize to Naina, Alfin. It is Naina's right to decide whether she will forgive or her heart is still unwilling" Ahmad said wisely.

Alfin screeched, if not for the old man he respected asking, would not Alfin give him the opportunity to apologize to Naina. Alfin turned his face away, not wanting to see Anton approaching Naina.

The girl lowered her head even more, and she even inching closer to Aminah asking for protection. The woman looked at Ahmad, nodding her husband asking the wife to give Naina some peace.

"Nai, I know what I did was wrong. I shouldn't have made you come with me earlier. I'm sorry, Nai. I'm really sorry, " said Anton completely getting rid of his prestige.

The one thing she was afraid of was, Naina quit her job so Anton could no longer see her smile for everyone. Naina plays her damp fingers and feels cold. Aminah who saw, immediately grabbed the hand. He held it warmly, patted it gently.

Strengthening Naina through the touch of a hand, reassuring her that she is not alone. Naina sighed, raising her face without looking at the man who had given her that sense of trauma. He strengthened his heart to forgive him, simply because he did not want the problem to get worse.

"Yes. I'm sorry." Briefly, it sounded very clear and firm, but it was painful for Anton.

The manager looked down at Naina's face that turned away from her. He will miss the smile of the girl. Because of his actions it was certain that he would lose Naina's smile, even further away from her.

"Now. You can go. From today I quit my job. I will never set foot in that place again" Naina said without hesitation.

Anton was stunned, what he feared had really happened. Her heart grew saddened, the plan to bring her son with Naina ran aground.

"But, Naina. Wh why? I've confessed wrong and I'm sorry about you. I promise I'll never bother you again, but don't quit my job. You can continue to work quietly there without any interference from me" Anton said, beginning to look agitated.

"sorry. I can't. I've decided to quit my job." Naina insists on refusing to return to the place.

Anton had to willingly swallow the bitterness in his heart. It was all his fault for pushing too much desire. Anton returned with a heart that bore disappointment.
