Teach Me (Naina)

Teach Me (Naina)
Chapter 3

In a room filled with medical equipment, as well as several patients with their own bulkheads, Naina came to the bed where Lita was. The woman breathed in an oxygen tube, the infusion was placed on her left hand, peacefully closed, her chest rising and falling heavily.

Naina wiped away the tears, holding back her cries. She must not look weak, she must be a force for a helpless woman there.

He stood at the side of Lita's bed, staring with a sick heart at the body condition of the middle-aged woman. Skinny body lives bone wrapped in skin, can no longer be proud like when young first.

Naina sat down on the bedside chair, grabbed Lita's hand and held it warmly. Plastered the hand to the cheek, while being let down long enough to feel the affection that Lita gave him.

Lita opened her eyes, looking at her only daughter who looked beautiful as she matured.

"Where are you feeling? You okay?" naina asked shaking withstanding the cries.

Lita smiled, nodding softly without taking her eyes off the princess' pretty face. Their hands strengthened, feelings rose, fear came to attack.

"Why, Mom? What's up?" naina asked again when Lita just kept quiet and kept looking at her face.

Lita took something out of the other fist, gave it to Naina. A piece of paper with an address.

"Whose address is this, Mom?" naina asked after reading the row of letters on its surface.

"I-that's the address of your uncle and aunt. If you are not there, go there. Stay with them. They don't have children, and they're good people" Lita said almost like a whisper.

"Uncle and aunt?" Naina muttered with a frown on the forehead. Because, he never knew if he still had another family besides Lita.

"Yes, Son. I'll calm down if you stay with them. I'm sleepy, I'm going to sleep first. Bismilbornrahmanirrahim," replied Lita again as she closed her eyes as drowsiness came.

Naina keeps the paper in her pocket, rubbing Lita's sweaty forehead. Cheeked on both cheeks of the mother, then sat back waiting.

"Mom! Did Mom sleep? Nai wants to ask something to Mom," said Naina while shaking Lita's body slowly.

The petals opened again, waiting for a question from him.

"Do you know who Nai's biological father is?" the question is curious even if it is free.

Lita smiled, nodding back slowly to answer Naina's question.

"Patient, yes, son. Life's journey is not always easy. You are the chosen ones who must walk on a sense of patience. Insults, insults, insults, mockery, everything they do is the same you consider as a stepping stone to a better life. Horror Mom, Son. Don't beat anyone else. You are a special child, never feel like the lowest person on earth. You are special .. special."

Lita hissed after finishing her sentence, closed with a long sigh. Thoyibah sentence outstretched from between his lips that almost clenched. The longer it gets unclear.

"Mom, Mother why? Don't kidnap Nai, Mom." Naina was trembling in panic.

He looked around looking for anyone to help. Lita pulls her hand when Naina is about to move.

"That's a sure thing, son. All breathing creatures will surely meet their end. This is Mom's time ... Allahs ... Naina's a strong boy, Naina's a good boy. Argh .. O Allah."

Lita's breathing grew heavier and tight, her hand grip strengthening as if she wanted to share the pain she was feeling.

"Mothers. Don't stay in Nai. Nai doesn't want Mom to go stay in Nai, Mom. Who would you like to go to. Don't go, Mom!" Naina hugged Lita's body. Spilling a deep cry, the fear finally came. Farewell is inevitable.

The link of their hand that strengthened for a while, slowly loosened and Lita's hand fell down. Naina panicked and scared, she got out of Lita's body with a sense of uncertainty. His eyes unceasingly flickered, his breathing growing stronger.

"MOTHER!" his screams were quite powerful, inviting everyone's attention.

"MOTHER! DON'T LEAVE! DON'T STAY IN NAI, MOM!" Naina's voice was loud enough, she fell head over heels into a wheelchair when a medic pushed her away.

The curtain closed, blocking Naina's view from staring at her mother. He is helpless, even to rise up feels incapable. Lost his strength, lost his life support, on whom else he would complain about those who always demean him.

On whom else would he be anchored when life continually made him tired. Mother, one solid backrest has been lost and she will never find it again. Like the blind man who lost his wand and could do nothing.

"MOTHER!" Naina squeezes the air, regretting her helplessness.

Seira and her two children who were waiting outside, gasped when they heard Naina's screams. They barged in and found the girl sitting on the floor crying.

"Naaina! Oh God!" pekik Seira rushed to him.

He hugged the girl and helped her to move on.

"Mother ... Mother ... I want to go stay in Nai. I'm going too, Mom. Please tell me Mom don't go. Don't stay in Nai alone. Please tell me the same Mom, Mom," the girl lamented as she pleaded with Seira.

Looking at her tears that kept falling, Seira was unable to hold back the tears. She hugged Naina's body tightly. Remembering when she was little, apologizing to Lita.

"Say me don't go. Rayan, Fathya, please tell me not to go. I can't go live with my sister. You can't leave!"

Fathya turned her face away, immersing her in Rayan's chest. Hiding the cry of not being able to see Naina who kept pleading. The young man was shaken, this time he was helpless because he could not do anything to prevent the coming death.

"Udah, baby. Hitherto. Nai has to be strong, yes. Nai can't be weak like this. I certainly would not be happy if Nai became weak like gini," said Seira calming.

He broke down a hug, rubbing Naina's wet face. The girl was endlessly crying, feeling played with by fate. One by one, his loved ones left. Leave him alone.

"Mother ... Don't stay with Nai, Ma'am." She keeps raving to prevent Lita's departure.

The curtains were opened, they clearly saw a medic covering Lita's body with a white cloth.

"MOTHER! NOPE! MOM CAN'T DIE! YOU CAN'T DIE!" naina shouted as she ran up to Lita's bed and hugged the body that had been stretched stiff.

He shook his head, rejecting the fate of farewell. Rayan was heartless, the young man rushed out after taking off Fathya's embrace. The powerless being in the room made him weak helpless.

"Sister!" Fathya followed out.

Meanwhile, Seira, approaches Naina who is crying over Lita's body. Rubbing the girl's back, looking at the peaceful face of a friend who was once her enemy in a blanket.

"Innaa lillaahi wa Inna ilaihi raaji'uun. Everything comes from God, and it will come back to Him. Actions are certain, and cannot be denied coming."

Hearing Seira's sentence, Naina's cries slowly subsided. Started to move from Lita's body that was stretched. Tears incessantly flowed, continuously dripping down the blanket that covered the body.

"Nai, don't make it hard for you to go to God, son. With you constantly crying, your steps towards the side of God become heavy. Inspiration, Naina. Sincerely, because death can not be denied with medicine," said Seira gave understanding to Naina.

The girl continued to wail, looking at the mother's face fixedly. Let it be for the last time before the body roams the ground.
