White clouds decorated the sky this morning as far as the eye could see. The air is cold enough to bring stiffness to every activity.
Soft tones flowed to all corners of the fifty-floor company. All the employees looked at each other knowing who the figure behind who was playing the piano there.
They nodded in understanding if the leader was in trouble.
It has become a habit, when Zidan's mood is not fine then he will play the piano in the company.
Thanks to the soothing music, employees are increasingly eager to work behind the uncertain weather.
Out of the many people who were in the company, Kirana appeared on that floor and instantly linked the two eyebrows.
His steps stopped focusing his hearing on loud classical music.
It was like remembering something that froze itself.
"Did you hear that?" Someone came as a surprise.
Kirana came to her senses from the daydream, turning to the side to find one of the female employees next to her. He nodded answering his question earlier.
"This voice comes from Mr. Zidan, he often plays the piano here" he said later.
"Is that so?" kirana's back asking makes the woman agree.
"Have you just heard it?"
Again and again Kirana simply nodded, "Where is that piano room? I need to hand this over to Mr. Zidan," he explained, making the woman show me where the boss' room is.
After saying thank you, Kirana stepped foot out from before him.
Not long after he arrived in front of the room, keys after keys played piano so harmoniously produced songs that increasingly flow into the deepest recesses.
Kirana stared at it more clearly, the bright brown bead looked at the teak door before her.
"This music ..he played it at the Arsyad family's residence a few days ago. It was as if the song described the deepest feelings in a person and ... Zidan chanted it right in front of Ayana," he murmured softly.
Moments passed, Kirana opened the door and instantly the scent of carnations blending with the magnolia welcomed her arrival.
Bathed in a dark light behind a large window, the occupant seemed lonely with the piano in front of him.
The finger still danced beautifully on the piano keys. Kirana's existence seemed not to bother him at all, he ignored the situation around.
The handsome face showed a hidden feeling. A blink of his eyelids closed tightly dive into the song he was playing.
Without her noticing, Kirana was pecking at the doorway watching her figure. The eyeball was rolling scanning everything in the room.
Until his attention was focused on the sizable painting right in front of Zidan. Her lips grinned as she caught the initials G at the end of the canvas.
"G'S? Is this painting his wife's?" kirana's mind kept an eye on Zidan's painting playing the piano.
"Oh Kirana?"
The baritone voice instantly greeted, the model gasped looking back at him. Their gazes collided with each other to see each other.
"Have you been here long?" ask Zidan later.
Kirana regained her senses and walked over and placed the documents she had brought onto the piano.
"I brought you the photos yesterday. The photographer said, we can already launch the photos," explained Kirana, "sorry, I offered to bring it to you, sir," he continued.
Zidan developed a smile as he reached out with the photo.
Kirana nodded while observing him in silence. Both of his hands were on the back squeezing the strong left wrist.
His gaze turned forward looking at the two vases containing carnations and magnolias.
"Did you play the piano here often? I heard from one of your employees who plays it often," Kirana said again to open her voice.
Zidan nodded briefly without looking at him in the slightest.
"That's right, if my mood is good or not .. I do often play the piano here," he explained.
The long soft black gibberish head nodded several times.
"So, what's your mood right now? Or ... otherwise?"
The question that Kirana asked just made Zidan freeze. Seeing her reaction, the beautiful model frowned.
He knows that his co-worker's mood is not okay.
"Does the Master feel bad?" ask again and again.
Lama Zidan did not immediately reply to the words of his interlocutor. Patiently, Kirana kept waiting for what this man was about to say.
"I'm sorry if I miss"
"No! That's right, I ... am not doing well," Zidan cut quickly as he looked up staring back at the soot bead before him.
Kirana gasped as a pair of onyx looked at her so closely. Slowly his two feet a step backward caught the sad flush behind the look in the pianist's eyes.
...***...
"I'm sorry, you're accompanying me to the parlor again" said Zidan, who was driving this afternoon to the home in the northern part of the capital.
"It's okay, I don't have to worry. I'm also at leisure, so it's fine to accompany like this" Kirana stared back to the side.
Zidan reviewed a wry smile and turned his head briefly at her.
"Thank you, the plan is that I want to see Raima again" Zidan said.
"I was sad to hear the story. Children are very expected for every married couple, especially if both want his presence. I understand how Mas feels, and .. I also feel sorry for what happened to your first child."
"Even the news is still there until now, I'm sorry to have found out Mas's past," Kirana explained.
"Ah, it's okay I understand. Indeed the past cannot be erased easily, however we have changed in the future. I'm sorry I did that to Ayana." Zidan unknowingly recounts past events to Kirana.
She suddenly thought of Kirana as a sister. Moreover, he was very close to the family of Arsyad, without knowing what would happen in front there.
"Ayana .. does she not want to have any more children?" ask Kirana just like that.
Zidan was silent for a few seconds until, "I don't know, it's just that his attitude showed that."
"Em, I think .. although I have never been married let alone had children as married women especially husbands want a child .. shouldn't you two work together? I mean, not just from Mas's own side."
"Wrong, if one of you is fighting. Marriage does not happen on one side, but on both sides. Ah I mean .. I'm sorry if it's too presumptuous," Kirana said as she watched Zidan's face change.
The pianist nodded quickly and stopped the car right in the parlor's parking lot. He looked to the side looking at his interlocutor.
"Yes you're right, marriage is built by two people not one of them" Zidan replied firmly.
Kirana silently raised the corner of her lips.
