Sobs still lingered in the silence of the hallway of the sixth floor of the hospital.
Ayana was still staring fixedly at Jasmine who was still sobbing softly.
I don't know what happened to Jasmine. But it clearly happened to him.
Ayana also understood from the giragat that she floated there must be something that is being hidden the woman of her dream sister.
He gripped both of Jasmine's shoulders slightly tight and shook her slowly.
Ayana hoped that Jasmine would look into her eyes.
"Jasmine. Lookatme!" very door.
At the request of a friend who had helped him for a long time, Jasmine raised her head which instantly made their eyes collide with each other.
He gasped to witness the seriousness of Ayana's eyes.
The painter saw a trace of regret in Jasmine's eyes. The two hands stretched out erasing the traces of clear crystals on the cheeks.
Confidence grew even more so as he stared at Jasmine's face.
"What's really going on? Why do you suddenly apologize and say sorry? You can't lie to me, Jasmine." Ayana continues to insist that her best friend can be frank.
"Is there something that's happened?" ask him again.
Before answering that question, Ayana asked Jasmine to sit next to her.
Zidan also immediately moved from sitting to invite the descendants of Mahesha there.
Jasmine also obeyed him still with a deep bow.
"Who is she, Ayana? Why do you suddenly apologize and regret? What was that. 'cause of him?" point Kirana at Jasmine who had witnessed the interaction between the two.
Ayana immediately turned to Kirana while shaking her head briefly.
"No, this Jasmine-"
Ayana explains who Jasmine really is. He covered all the problems that happened to him is not good if you have to open the disgrace of others.
Kirana only understands and understands if everyone has their own problems.
"I see, then it looks like there's something you two should discuss alone. I'll go first, let me know if Danieal's been moved to the hospital room." Kirana moved from sitting to provide an opportunity for the two women together.
"Alright, thank you Kirana," Ayana's reply made the biological mother of the child nod.
After Kirana's departure, Zidan also took the same initiative. He knew Jasmine was more free to talk about new things that happened to him alone with Ayana.
He went to a different place with Kirana and there only left Ayana and Jasmine alone.
"So, what do you want to say? Does this have anything to do with"
"Darius."
One word made Ayana link her brows deeply. He did not know who the owner behind the name Jasmine mentioned was.
"He... who?" ask Ayana directly.
"He's my cousin, Ayana. That man is the son of the old man who raised me all this time."
Jasmine's explanation suddenly made Ayana's soot bead widen. Her soft lips opened slowly with a pounding heart.
"I don't really want to talk to you about this. I-"
"Jasmine." Jasmine." Ayana pressed the name of the friend and clasped her arm.
"Don't say that, everything that happens we already know each other."
"We are not strangers anymore. So, if something's bothering you, we can work it out together. Don't worry. Because-"
"I'm afraid of Ayana. I'm afraid that the problems that will happen again interfere with your womb. I can't see you sad and hurt."
"Having you hold back the crying from the incident a moment ago actually makes me hurt too. I can't let any of that happen. Your content-" Jasmine rubbed Ayana's stomach slightly bloated.
"I don't want him to get hurt" he continued.
Ayana could not resist the novelty. Clear sliding crystals quickly wet the back of Jasmine's hand that was still perched on her stomach.
He looked up again and was surprised to see Ayana crying.
"Did I hurt you?" jasmine felt guilty.
Ayana shook her head quickly. "Absolutely not. Thank you for thinking about this kid. You know, he's very strong."
Jasmine gasped and rubbed Ayana's stomach again.
"Do you feel it too? This boy recognized his tantric touch. Even mas Zidan had never felt it, either" explained the beautiful painter.
"Really, MashaAllah. His kick was strong as well," Jasmine's reply developed a happy smile all at once.
Ayana just assented without making a sound.
They then let silence take over.
Ayana gave Jasmine a chance to think about it first.
They were both devastated by the incident on Danieal, especially Jasmine who felt very guilty.
They never expected that there would be anyone else who would disturb the calmness.
"So, what does your cousin mean by showing himself is?" Ayana again made a sound still not getting an answer from curiosity.
"She wanted revenge, because I had her father dead."
"What's? Does he not know that his father?"
"He knows Ayana, very well, but the name of the child is as bad as any behavior of parents, still there is a defense. He came here to avenge all my actions on his father," Jasmine explained again.
"So, that means the arrow was meant for you and not for Danieal? All just misdirected?" Ayana was surprised.
Jasmine gave a short nod and dropped her gaze down.
"I also have a feeling that he's after you too, so I'm afraid something will happen" Jasmine said lethargicly.
"Don't be afraid, there's God. No matter what happens, God protects. We just leave everything to God" Ayana said, trying to calm her down.
Jasmine only nodded briefly, but there was still fear within.
"Astaghfirullahaladzim, O Allah protect us" he thought.
...***...
The operation is still ongoing, Celia and Adnan are working together to deal with the baby.
Assisted by several other fellow doctors, they tried to remove a bow that stuck in the left chest of Danieal.
In the middle of the process, Danieal's heart rate had stopped. All the medical personnel tried to save him and tried to quell the panic and fear.
Until a few hours later, in the midst of the difficulties they underwent finally the operation of the young doctor was completed.
Celia and Adnan breathed a little relief, the struggle to save the first son succeeded.
They immediately moved him to the hospital room and let the people waiting for the operation to arrive.
Jasmine and Ayana who had been hoping to get a meeting point.
"The operation went well. The bow hit his heart a little more and almost took Danieal's life."
"Mamah did not know if the arrow had reached his heart. whether Danieal-" Celia could not finish her own words.
He cried in fear seeing his biological son drawn an arrow.
As a mother she was so hurt and helpless how blood flowed from the wound on her chest.
Watching the tears rushing down the face of a mother Jasmine set foot closer.
Celia who was in Ayana's arms was not aware of Jasmine's arrival.
He also re-emerged, which is now given to Celia, making the senior doctor surprised for a moment.
He stopped his crying and looked at Ayana and Jasmine alternately.
He asked for an explanation from the princess, but Ayana only smiled briefly.
Celia was fully staring at Jasmine who was still maintaining her position.
"I'm really sorry. Because of me.. Your son is wretched like this. I'm-"
"WHAT?" Celia's voice boomed there.
Jasmine closed her eyes tightly ready with all the risks given the mother of the doctor who had handled it.
He would not waver in the least and wait for what Celia would give him.
He believes there will be a reward for every action.
"I accept whatever you're about to lay down" Jasmine said undaunted.
He knew slap, mock, whatever it was must have been. Because as a mother does not accept her child hurt by others.
