For the umpteenth time he had to lie in the hospital. A familiar smell sniffed out making him stiff.
I don't know how many hours it's been he doesn't know how things are going outside. He could only fall silent, look at the ceiling and be in a soundproof room with no windows.
He pulled his right hand and pointed it forward. There is an infusion hose where the needle marks are still clearly visible.
He let out a rough sigh and placed both hands on his stomach.
"I am in this position again, O Allah what is with the mental condition of the servant? Honestly ... I'm really tired. Every time the memory came back again the servant .. felt frightened and-" Ayana could not finish her speech.
He held a sobbing sob in his chest making him stuffy. Ayana came back crying with no one by her side.
Amidst the continuous tears flowing, he faintly heard some people talking.
He got up from his lie down and pulled the infusion to walk towards the door. The wide forehead shriveled deeply as it caught the familiar sound.
He opened the door and walked slowly to the source of the sound. Within just a few meters he caught several people talking together in one of the rooms.
There he saw about five men with faces full of worry. Ayana silently watched them behind the small window at the entrance.
"What did you say? Ayana couldn't possibly kill me," said Zidan, staring intently at her bodyguard and psychologist.
"I'm not so sure what I'm saying either, but .. upon finding the Young Master lying covered in blood in the room .. I conclude if someone is trying to kill you," haikal said later.
"It's impossible how Ayana would kill Zidan" Danieal looked at the man who had the same profession.
"Do you doubt Ayana? Despite being shaken, it was impossible for Ayana to do such a foolish act" Gibran said, staring at them one by one.
"That's right, Ayana couldn't possibly have that intention" Zidan replied again.
"Then what is the intention of taking the broken glass?" ask Haikal back.
"Well, maybe Ayana could just pick it up. There is no way he has bad intentions as discussed" said Arfan who had listened to their conversation.
"Amana-"
Zidan had not yet finished his words, the sound of the door opening averted his eyes. Everyone looked tense with wide eyes.
Zidan and Danieal were most surprised to find Ayana there. Even though his lips were smiling, the look in the eyes could not lie to them.
A look full of hurt and disappointment was set in there. Ayana looked at them taking turns until she stopped at her husband.
"I'm tired .. I'm so tired" he said. Tears rolled behind my eyes.
Danieal walked closer to remove the clear liquid on both cheeks of the younger brother. Ayana brushed it off slowly and looked back at her big sister's gaze.
"Do you believe in their conversation? This morning I asked ... What have I done to Mas Zidan?" Ayana looks at the pianist and returns to her brother.
"My answer is Mas, why did Mas just shut up? Why are you all quiet? Do you really think that ... I want to kill Mas Zidan? Because my mind is not okay? Do you think I'm crazy? Can you do anything to relieve this pain? You guys are amazing." Ayana continued to fumble with tears flowing nonstop.
He squeezed both hands channeling the pain that came crashing down on his heart. He was sick, but no one believed him.
"Does he think the same? If I take that shard of glass to hurt you?" Ayana turned to her husband.
"Thank you for everything. I'm tired .. goodbye."
Ayana pulled out a rough infusion hose that stamped her hand to make blood splatter there. After that, he ran away from the hospital.
The five men who witnessed this were immediately scattered, rushing after Ayana. In the midst of his condition that is still unstable Danieal and Zidan are afraid he did something desperate.
Moreover, Danieal never found the sister intends to end her life.
"Astaghfirullahaladzim, I shouldn't have asked Ayana that question this morning" Danieal murmured in the middle of his run.
...***...
Zidan continued running and running not caring about the several pairs of eyes looking at him strangely. The people who passed him thought he was an escaped hospital patient.
Without heeding the people around, Zidan continued to search and search for Ayana's whereabouts.
Unexpected rain came, he still traced places around the hospital. He visited building after building there trying to find the wife.
His body was already soaked with the rain that was getting heavier. Zidan ran back along the sidewalk sweeping views around.
Until he caught the shadow of a woman who was very similar to Ayana. He breathed a sigh of relief if that figure was his wife's right.
"What's the truth, I've been looking for her everywhere, so she's here?" he muttered to find Ayana who was walking not far from her existence.
He rushed closer until accidentally the milk chocolate netra saw a car speeding towards Ayana.
"AYANA!" she shouted loudly, Ayana turned her head and found her husband there.
Regardless of his own circumstances, Zidan immediately ran up to Ayana and pushed her away.
However, even that single accident was inevitable. The driver who was drunk hit Zidan until his body bounced.
Ayana who was still on the verge of consciousness, stared at the nanar figure protecting her already sprawled on the asphalt.
The people who were around were rushing around Zidan. Some of them immediately asked for help from the medical staff of the Arsyad family hospital.
Ayana was silent stiff, she saw blood flowing carried by the rain. He tried to stand with his left arm injured by the impact he had suffered. He walked over to the crowd in front.
Not long after that some medics came to the site and immediately brought the unconscious Zidan to the hospital.
Ayana was staring at the place where she stood, the netra soot was staring at the nanar the husband was already sprawled on the gurney.
Amidst the raindrops that were still engulfing, he could feel nothing more than, indignation.
He wept in silence disguised by the melting of water from the sky. His eyeballs rolled into Zidan's former lying down earlier.
He saw the blood of the pianist still standing there. The sobbing could not be avoided, his legs were no longer able to support his own weight until he fell down just like that.
Under the heavy rain he was crying alone with people passing by on the scene.
