The Pirates of Suro Ireng

After Padatala left the tent, Akhsat looked up at his tent as if his gaze could pierce through the tent and look deep into the sky. He then muttered to himself. “A big storm is coming. Savannah god, will this be an opportunity for our Udo Udo tribe to rise up and become the greatest tribe in the savanna?”

11 May, Pantura Port.

After one month of construction, the construction of Pantura Port was officially completed. Pantura Port is located near the estuary which is a very suitable place for ships anchored.

Pantura Port was built for military purposes. It mainly provides service to the navy. The service, among others, provides a berth of warships, supplies, shelter, equipment, and so on. Therefore, Pantura Port is also known as a naval base equipped with appropriate technology and various other facilities. The naval camp was moved to Pantura Port as soon as the construction of the port was completed.

The current state of Pantura Port is that it also bears the responsibility of a fishing port, allowing fishing vessels to dock, as well as loading and unloading goods. It provides shelter and charging resources. It also provides services such as fishing, ship maintenance, fishing gear manufacturing, and resting places for the crew.

The northern waters of Pantura are the Java Sea. The northern bay of the largest island is of course the island of Borneo. After a modification of the game system in which the island was enlarged ninefold, it now has an area of 6,689,970 square kilometers. Of course there are several other small islands besides Kalimantan Island.

However, most of the island is uninhabited. They are mostly remote islands, but also some islands have established their own ecological system, where resources suitable for habitation are abundant due to the presence of lakes or rivers in the interior. As such, these islands have become an ideal place for pirates.

Especially after the enlargement of the game map, the small islands turned out to be suitable for habitation. Due to this sole reason, Heru Cokro decided to order his navy to launch an expedition around these islands. This was because he did not dare to draw conclusions based on reality, as it might have been drastically altered within the game.

Somewhere in the northwest corner of the northern bay, there is an island called Noko Island. The island covers an area of about 45 square kilometers, almost equivalent to the area occupied by RW. In reality, this island would only be an island of 5 square kilometers.

Noko Island is filled with a group of about 3000 pirates who call themselves Suro Ireng. Their leader is called the Kris Mustache. Due to the geographical location of Noko Island which is closer to Bawean Island, the main target of their plunder is often the coastal villages of Bawean Island and occasionally go to Kalimantan Island.

In the coastal areas of Bawean Island and Kalimantan Island, Kumis Keris became a nightmare, especially among the ranks of players of the god type. Since the game was launched, Suro Ireng along with its leader, Kumis Keris, has raided no less than 30 player villages.

Of course, Suro Ireng knew their own limits and never tried to test their luck by provoking cities built with the system.

One day, as if they had all gone mad, Suro Ireng did not proceed to attack the coastal villages of Borneo Island, but instead headed to the coastal region of northern Gresik.

Needless to say, the patrol had seen them even before Suro Ireng could reach Pantura. While preparing for the meeting, the soldiers on the battleship Jung Jawa also launched a makeshift beacon at the sight of the pirate ship.

On the other hand, after seeing the flares fired by the patrol, Joko Tingkir quickly got on the battleship and led the remaining 4 Jung Jawa warships to the scene. The warship Jung Jawa was designed long and narrow for mobility purposes in order to ferociously penetrate enemy formations.

The cabins and floors of Jung Jawa battleships were all covered with cowhide to increase their fire resistance. Both sides of the battleship had several gaps for the oars. On the deck was a 3-story cabin, all wrapped in cowhide as well. Each layer of the cabin has a place allocated for bows for offensive purposes.

Therefore, about 20 minutes, while Kumis Keris was still hesitant, 4 Jung Jawa warships led by Admiral Joko Tingkir had arrived and joined the patrol.

After seeing the superior capabilities of the battleship Jung Jawa, coupled with the reversal of power on both sides and the lack of information about the opposing side's strength, Kumis Keris ordered his pirates to retreat without hesitation.

As the pirates retreat, Joko Eliminates chasing after the enemy for short distances, and returns to the base.

There are several reasons why Joko Tingkir did not pursue the pirates further. First, there was not much gap between his navy and the pirates in terms of their strength, so they could not defeat the pirates with force. Second, the navy did not experience any real battles, so if they fought with pirates, they would most likely lose the battle.

As is the case in the art of war, it would be unwise to pursue an enemy that is fleeing irrationally, not to mention a group of pirates at full force.

After returning to Pantura, Joko Tingkir immediately wrote a report about the meeting and sent it to Heru Cokro for further orders.

On May 12, Heru Cokro received an urgent report from the navy.

After reading the letter, thousands of thoughts swirled in Heru Cokro's mind. The meeting showed that the pirates had learned of Pantura's existence, thus alarming that the region could no longer develop peacefully.

To protect Pantura and ensure the safety of this strategic fortress, Heru Cokro wrote a letter to Joko Tingkir asking him to expand the navy and form a naval fleet. At the same time, he also asked Joko Tingkir to find out more information about the pirates as soon as possible. If possible, it would be best to find their nest.

For Heru Cokro, just by eliminating every pirate and their nest, Pantura would continue to develop peacefully. Otherwise, they would simply appear and launch a surprise attack.

While Heru Cokro racked his brain about Pantura's future development, a system notification emerged among the people in the Indonesian territory.
