The ruling residence, the Council Room.
After everyone sat in the room, Heru Cokro smiled and said: “First of all, I want to welcome everyone in Java Dwipa. Today is the inaugural meeting of the Java Dwipa Alliance, this is a very rare opportunity. In order to express our goodwill, we will hold a simple alliance ceremony, may we?"
“Brother Jendra has thought about it, indeed we should hold an alliance ceremony. Did not the ancient nobles hold ceremonies with rituals, prayers, and such things.” Habibi was the first to agree.
Hesty Purwadinata and Genkpocker nodded in agreement. When Maya Estianti heard that a ceremony was going to be held, the fun was the only thing she cared about, of course she would not refuse.
Seeing everyone agree, Heru Cokro stood up and walked to the back mountains.
In the back mountains, two Nian Shou monsters saw the crowd coming, yet they ignored them and continued to sunbathe.
However it was very surprising for the rulers to see the Nian Shou monster before their eyes. All of them had attended the festival event on the eve of the new year, of course they knew what the two animals were.
“Ah, aren't they Nian Shou monsters that eat humans? Brother Jendra, how did they get here?” Maya Estianti could not hide her words, she asked innocently.
Since Heru Cokro had chosen the ceremony to be performed in the back mountains, he had never thought of hiding the ferocious beasts from his allies. He laughed and explained: “Keep, they won't hurt anyone. During the event, I was lucky to have a contract scroll and was able to tame a savage beast, and now, these 2 Nian Shou monsters were the guards of Java Dwipa, not a savage beast but rather as danyang.”
Their doubts were raised by the explanation, but the way they looked at Heru Cokro became more elusive. Just from the tip of the iceberg, one can clearly see the depths of Java Dwipa.
In ancient times, there was a ceremony known as the Abhisheka Ceremony. Abhisheka (Abhiseka) itself is a term derived from Sanskrit which means bathing a thing that is deified.
Abhiseka is a religious ritual or method of worship, in which the devotee presents offerings in the form of liquid that is splashed on the statue or on the phallus and yoni. This practice resembles the practice of oiling or anointing in other religions. Abhiseka is a common practice in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
In addition, the abhiseka ceremony can also be performed in the coronation ceremony of the king. This ceremony is symbolized by sprinkling holy water or other liquid substances on the head of the appointed king. After being crowned king, the new king was given a new name, namely an official name or title that describes the king's majesty and power.
In history and archaeology, this name is known as abhiseka. Like Raden Wijaya who was the first king of Majapahit, had the name abhiseka Kertarajasa Jayawardhana soon after being crowned king on 10 November 1293.
Therefore, Heru Cokro adapted this Abhiseka Ceremony, as a marker of the strengthening of the Java Dwipa Alliance. This Abhiseka ceremony has several steps. Before the ceremony, an inscription stone inscribed with the alliance agreement was placed on the top of the mountain. Then, Kawis Guwa started using holy water to wash the stone of the inscription.
After the ceremony, the time has already shown at 10:00.
The military parade is ready. A thousand soldiers were gathered and marched on the village square, awaiting the orders of their general.
Heru Cokro invited the nobles to follow him to the spectacle stage. The platform is divided into two parts. The front sat 5 nobles, while the back sat their generals. In the center is Heru Cokro, on the left is Hesty Purwadinata and Maya Estianti, on the right is Habibi and Genkpocker.
“What you will see is the expedition team that will be deployed to the Pamuksa War. And so, the best of the best of Java Dwipa gather here. Jawa Dwipa has now revealed his secret to all of you.” Heru Cokro said with a smiling face.
Due to the limited number of soldiers, 1000 soldiers marched past the review platform in the company. As the leader of the march, General Giri climbed the barong and marched on the front line.
Behind him were 3 infantry companies, the first to appear was a heavy infantry company equipped with the Luwuk Majapahit Sword and Krewaja armor. Then following the infantry were 2 companies of bows and 3 companies of arrows in leather armor. The last to line up was 2 cavalry companies. Paired with barongs, equipped with the Luwuk Majapahit Sword and a horn bow, with spears in their hands. The first 50 cavalry were instead equipped with Krewaja's armless armor.
As they watched the soldiers march past the observation platform gradually, different thoughts lurked in their minds.
The attention of Hesty Purwadinata was on the historical figure of group VII, General Giri. Previously, he had met Kawis Guwa and Witana Sideng Rana, two historical figures of at least group VI. He thought it was a gift from the stone of Heru Cokro's resurrection when he obtained the Decree on Settlement Development. But who knew anyone else was hiding in the military?
The level of completion during the settlement quest was considered high, but he was only awarded the Silver Settlement Construction Decree and the King level resurrection stone. If this was the case, it seemed like the gold-level token would have been obtained by him.
Habibi looked at Calvary with envy. Having Danang Sutawijaya as the general of his territory, it was natural for him to expect the same thing that Heru Cokro, a complete elite cavalry unit, wanted. Unfortunately, whether it was a war horse, weapon, or armor, he still could not obtain one of them until now. Who knows Java Dwipa has collected and equipped them all. How quaint.
Danang Sutawijaya, who was sitting behind Habibi watched the cavalry closely. Spears, armor, war horses, cavalry! He was completely possessed, and his mind faded back into the beautiful past when he fought like a dragon on the battlefield.
As for Genkpocker, he noticed the heavy infantry. Near his territory as well, there was a group of barbarian tribes. Therefore, he was able to directly identify that the infantry came from the barbarians. Such heavy armor might be a burden to ordinary infantry, but to barbarian warriors, it was only a light object. Heavy armor and barbarian warriors were a pair made by heaven.
While Maya Estianti, the little girl, was here just for fun, Gayatri Rajapatni's gaze, was focused as she looked at the barong. He recognized the war vehicles raised by the nomadic tribe. He was confused and curious. How did Java Dwipa get those barongs?
The military parade demonstrated the power of Java Dwipa to its allies, and at the same time consolidated the position of Heru Cokro as the leader of the alliance. Moreover, he had shown the best weapons and equipment with the military parade, so the future arms dealer slowly showed his teeth, waiting for his ally to jump to get the bait.
