Prabu Wrehadrata has two wives named Dewi Wikasi and Dewi Warnasi. Both of them are sad because in a long time they have not had a son. Then, Prabu Wrehadrata stayed in the worship center for months in order to have offspring.
Then, one day Batara Narada came down from kahyangan and handed over a fruit Mangga Pertanggaujiwa as a means for him to get a son. Because of his sense of justice, Prabu Wrehadrata also split the mango into two, to be given to Dewi Wikasi and Dewi Warnasi.
After that, Prabu Wrehadrata also had sex with his two wives, until both were pregnant. It is miraculous that after nine months, the two wives gave birth to a baby boy who was only half body. Goddess Wikasi gave birth to the left piece, while Goddess Warnasi gave birth to the right piece. Both of them screamed in horror at what they had born themselves.
Prabu Wrehadrata felt very sad, and threw the two pieces of the baby into the forest. The two baby pieces were then picked up by Nyai Jara and put together into a whole baby boy, named Jaka Slewah.
