The Legion of Dragons and the Struggle of Tipuchris

Tipukhris felt a desire to lead his troops in battle outside and leave the miserable place where they were. In contrast, Heru Cokro gave high appreciation to Tipukhris. After returning to Java Dwipa, Heru Cokro found that other generals, such as Raden Partajumena and Gajah Mada, paid very high praise to Tipukhris. They considered him an outstanding general, unmatched by other local generals, including the Pangkah Baswara Tribe general.

Baswara, who had strong disapproval of Heru Cokro, decided not to join Dwipa's Javanese army after the alliance army surrendered. Instead, he returned to the prairie, choosing to ignore the call of war and choose life as an ordinary herder. Heru Cokro let it go, without trying to maintain or contact her further. For Heru Cokro, Baswara had made his own choice by leaving the army.

When Heru Cokro finally entered the main hall, a military meeting began. The main topic of discussion is the reorganization of the three divisions. Also discussed was the appointment of three major generals who would lead these new divisions. The region will add three new divisions to four existing divisions, forming a high-level military legion that can build a larger military force.

The legion had deep meaning in the Javanese military of Dwipa. Unlike the divisions that had subordinate units, the legion consisted only of the general and the personal guard unit. The legion was the highest unit in the military, and under normal circumstances, several legions would form an army corps during the war. Therefore, the legion is a unit that has a central role in military operations in Java Dwipa.

In this meeting, Heru Cokro had planned to keep the details of the legion's formation plan secret, but this topic remained the main focus. One of the important content in his plan was to change the structure of the city's protection force, the Paspam Regiment, into a palace guard. This would form a special unit with three thousand palace guard troops led by a palace general, who had a rank equivalent to a major general.

Mahesa Boma, who had been the personal bodyguard of Heru Cokro, was chosen as the first palace general. The presence of the Paspam Regiment which currently had only a few troops did not match the size of their territory. To that end, Heru Cokro planned a restructuring and special training for the new palace guard troops. Strict requirements were applied to those who wanted to be part of the palace guards, including the minimum war elite warrior rank and individual potential that should not be less than B grade.

With such a grand plan and reorganization, Heru Cokro attempted to keep the secret and detail his plans further in this military meeting. All of these are important steps in strengthening the Jawa Dwipa forces and facing future challenges.

In the near future, the palace guards would experience an increase in the number of members to three thousand people. New members will only be able to join if current members are injured or resign. Heru Cokro's goal was not only to give a division-equivalent status to the palace guards, but also to increase their strength to a higher level. The stipulated requirement was that each member of the palace guards should have the ability to face four opponents on their own.

A few days ago, a second wave of migrants arrived in Borneo. Members of the Paspam Regiment, who have returned with the Pantura Naval Fleet to Java Dwipa, will be put on trial. They will receive the main mission to continue their special forces training. However, there is a question as to the fate of the eliminated members of the Paspam Regiment. Heru Cokro had plans to form a guard division as a place for them.

Now, Heru Cokro decided to form a guard division, which would be under his direct command. The guard division would be responsible for defending the Javanese imperial city of Dwipa, becoming the last line of defense. However, in a war situation, this division would become a major power. The new members of the guard division would be selected from various other divisions, with the same selection standards as the Paspam Regiment.

However, for Raden Partajumena and Gajah Mada, Heru Cokro's decision seems reasonable. They understood that this position relied not only on rank, but rather the ability to manage everyday troops. During the war, the leader of the guard force will be directly led by Heru Cokro himself. Therefore, this position was a good opportunity to train and nurture young generals.

After receiving his appointment as the major general of the guard division, Wirama felt a mixture of pleasure and anxiety. The sharp gazes from the surrounding generals made him feel uneasy, yet he was also honored by the trust placed in him by Heru Cokro. Wirama knows that only by proving himself through action and combat can he achieve true recognition from his comrades.

In an effort to strengthen Dwipa's Javanese army further, Heru Cokro announced the formation of a dragon legion consisting of the first to fourth divisions. This legion of dragons will be the first legion of Java Dwipa and in the future, each legion will be based on symbols such as leopard, tiger, eagle, or phoenix. Each legion will have its own unique name and flag. Raden Partajumena was chosen as the general of the dragon legion, while the other four great generals remained unchanged. This marks a major step in strengthening the military structure of Java Dwipa to face future challenges.

By now, Raden Partajumena had reached the pinnacle of power within the army, and the title of General seemed to have fused with his name. The newly formed legion of dragons will center on Fort Le Moesiek Revole, having two important roles. First, they are responsible for guarding Gresik Prefecture, while second, they will face threats from outside Java, especially from the Prabu Temboko region. With the increasingly peaceful development in Gresik Prefecture, the future legions of dragons will focus more to the north, which is the reason why Fort Le Moesiek Revole was chosen as their position. The fort became the main line of defense that separated the northern region from the core of the defense.

Following Raden Partajumena's appointment as major general of the dragon legion, the Department of Military Affairs underwent changes in the defensive area that included four divisions. The third and fourth divisions will lead the defense role in Fort Le Moesiek Revole. The third division, which was specialized for infantry, was the right choice to survive in the fortress. The first division under Giri will take over the east. With a combination of infantry troops and light armored cavalry, they had high mobility and were able to protect the eastern and western regions, focusing on the salt islands to the east.

The second division would be temporarily placed in the meadow, and would only move when the situation stabilized. They would move according to the needs of the northern battlefield to provide support for Fort Le Moesiek Revole. Meanwhile, the city protection division would be in charge of protecting the outer border, while the guard division would protect the inner region, including the outer wall that would be completed within a month or two.

In addition to the formation of the dragon legion, Heru Cokro also planned the formation of a second legion, the legion of tigers. Ashwatama was appointed General of the tiger legion, occupying the second position after Raden Partajumena. The title of commander-in-chief was given to Raden Partajumena, while Ashwatama was given the title of great general. The tiger legion currently consists of two divisions. The first division will be led by Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, which has a main force consisting of IKN Alliance prisoners, mainly a mixture of cavalry and infantry troops. The second division would be led by Tipukhris, and his army was a prairie alliance, a pure cavalry division.

The Department of Military Affairs will be responsible for reorganizing prisoners of war, including some mid-level generals. Heru Cokro had his own plans for this group, where his main principle was to make them as a force that went against their origin power. For example, some generals such as Eyang Cakrajaya and Hadikarya would be transferred to colonel positions in the second division of the tiger legion.
