The Wrong Way to Love a Psychopath

The Wrong Way to Love a Psychopath
Chapter 10 Doctor

Two years have passed since Anika managed to escape from Kairi's grasp.

But for two years he couldn't forget it.

Anika was already out of her college place first and had moved the island away from where she had lived before. She was afraid that Kairi would really look for her. However, he was also worried about his condition considering his separation at that time.

Is Kairi safe?

As long as he was gone, his parents did not worry about him at all. No wonder, he thought. His parents would have wanted him dead.

Currently Anika is working part-time as a cashier in a mini market while studying psychology. Anika wants to become a psychologist, but she has to raise a lot of money to get to college and it takes a long time to get that degree. He began to live his life from the beginning again to be able to achieve his new ideals.

One day at a mini market, he meets someone with a familiar face.

Even so Anika did not want to care too much about it. At work, he translated several books online. The pay was not much, but he tried not to waste any time.

"Please all this yes, Anika."

He was surprised that the figure knew his name when he was about to pay at the cashier.

The guy with the glasses and the neat appearance? Who her?

"Maybe you forgot." The man extended his hand. "I introduce, my name is Yaslan."

Anika then remembers the friendly man who bought drinks when she was an SPG at the supermarket. And the man who borrowed his notes during a seminar in his old college building.

"During didn't meet ya."

Anika just looked down sadly ignoring the outstretched hand. He's busy counting his groceries at the cash register.

"Everything is 56,700 rupiahs" he said finished counting.

The man then took his business card and placed it on the cashier's table.

"See you later." said.

Anika doesn't want to be in touch with any man. Haven't seen anyone in her past just makes her hurt. His friends must have all graduated and earned college degrees, while he had to lose half a year to an obscure psychopath and now works as a cashier.

He threw away his business card without seeing it in the slightest.

The next day the man came again. And she kept leaving her business card after being served by Anika.

Even he was willing to queue long, ignoring other cashier officers, because he only wanted to be served by himself.

"I still have a thousand more business cards, and I will never stop leaving them for you until you call me" he said as soon as he arrived before him.

You wasteful boy! Why is my life always surrounded by stubborn boys!

Anika still ignored him and counted her groceries as usual.

"Everything is 121,300 rupiah sis."

The man gave his grocery bag to Anika.

"I'm sorry but I can't take it from my shop guests."

"Well, let me leave it."

As she leaves, Anika sees the contents of her favorite foods and drinks, as well as vitamin C and medicines.

Why does he know I have an ulcer?

Because dear, Anika did not throw it away. He gave it to street children who often pass in front of the mini market.

On another day, Anika comforted herself because she felt unwell. Actually he really wants to move jobs so as not to be disturbed by that stupid guy again. He has tried to apply in several places, and has been accepted into a restaurant waiter not far from the cost.

The next day he was not healed. His stomach was in excruciating pain, making him inevitably go to control himself at the nearest puskesmas.

"Anika Ayu, please come in!" call the nurse to let her into the room.

He was greeted by the smile of a young doctor who had been a stubborn customer all along.

Looking at the guy again, Anika became pouting.

"What's your complaint?" ask the doctor to be friendly.

"Once, it seems like the doctor knows better." replied Anika of origin, turning her eyes away.

The young doctor smiled and looked at her behavior.

"Please lie on the bed."

Anika even panicked to hear the word bed.

"All right, I'll check you out there. Please open his mouth."

He followed his words.

"Excuse me, yes" he said, pulling out his stethoscope. "Please breathe, exhale."

The doctor sat back down and pulled out the tension device.

Without saying anything, Anika stretched out her hand. After he finished, the young doctor noted everything then turned to face Anika.

"Can I check his stomach?" ask her with a nod reply from Anika.

But just as she was about to press her stomach, Anika suddenly held her hand. He felt his trauma that had once again appeared.

"It looks like I've healed doc!" said it.

The doctor laughed briefly.

"I don't think so."

Ironically, her stomach pain again made Anika stroke her stomach.

"Have you not been eating regularly lately?"

Anika remembers that she never had a problem just by eating torn bread all day. Why does he have to have a stomach ulcer now?

"I often see you holding your stomach. Come with me!" take her this time to lead Anika's hand out of the room.

Anika immediately brushed off her hand.

"Where are you taking me, Doc?!"

"To make you heal."

Coincidentally the clock shows the hour of rest. The young doctor also invited Anika to eat at a restaurant that would become her new workplace.

"I eat here a lot" he said after they sat down at the table.

Is it my life's destiny not to escape this man? batin Anika pasrah.

After ordering food, they kept quiet.

"What happened to you?" the question was finally, with the question that Anika actually wanted to avoid the most.

"Just want to be alone." dustanya.

"To be alone doesn't have to run away from your life, right?" tanyanya was worried about what she might have experienced.

Anika was silent. She was kidnapped, raped, and held captive by a psychopath. Worse yet he has fallen in love with that crazy psychopath.

But he can't possibly tell this to anyone else.

After they finished eating, Anika wanted to pay for her own order, which Yaslan had rejected outright.

Anika remembered her name now.

"Start today eating regularly."

"Good." lie again.

How can you eat well with mediocre money! he murmured in the heart.

"Where do you live?"

Anika did not answer. Instead, he told her to leave.

"Thank you for the deal." she wanted the man to leave her alone. Because Anika's boarding house is near, she does not want her residence to be known by her.

Unfortunately for Anika's fate, a noisy crowd suddenly sounded shouting fire warnings. As he turned around, he saw black smoke coming out from the direction of his boarding house.

"My textbooks!" it was the thing that Anika shouted before running towards her boarding house.

The location of the cost near the market is indeed a fire-prone place. But because the price is very cheap makes Anika ignore the warning.

Now he's sorry.

Fortunately, the fire had not yet reached his room. People started running away from the source of the fire, but Anika just went into her room.

Quickly he brought a single dose of his textbooks and notes out. That's all he thinks is valuable. The wallet is in his bag.

Yaslan who turns out to be following her approaches Anika.

"It's a good thing I didn't fall asleep in the cost" said Anika a little relieved.

"That means your life is still protected."

His words awakened Anika. He went back to looking at his life in the past, where he always escaped the cruel torments that had happened to him.

"But now that I'm being homeless" said Anika sad to face the harsh reality again.

"For a while you can stay in my house."
