Chapter 51 Children

Yuri asks Anika and Kairi to stay after all the invited guests go home. Their house was indeed located a little to the city which was quite a distance away from the house Kairi bought. Anika, who feels possible by her presence, can help Jane, agreeing with her offer. The wives were enjoying playing on the living room couch with their daughter Irina.

Although not interested, Kairi listened to his sister who was discussing the murder case that he was handling. Every now and then he glanced at Anika to make sure of her condition.

Irina suddenly cries and Jane holds her baby trying to calm her but her crying never subsides.

Jane's hassles make Anika think what she can do to help her. He then recalled having taken care of the toddler at the orphanage, and told her of the possibility of starving or needing a diaper change.

"Right as well, I'll prepare the milk!" he headed straight to his daughter's room.

On the other hand, Kairi is actually trying to control himself to stay calm and not rampage because anger at him has disappointed Anika. He didn't want to scare his wife.

This tension is broken by Yuri who suddenly appears by holding her sleeping daughter on her back with a baby carrier. "Sorry long wait!" sapa relaxed.

"Where's Jane?" anika asked, surprised that her daughter was with the cannibal.

"He's asleep. Hm ... Where did we get to?"

Sleep on? Anika was suspicious. Why did he suddenly fall asleep?!

Kairi asks Anika to move to another room away from her because she does not want to scare her, but is blocked by Yuri.

"Let your wife know your psychopath side better. Let her know what kind of masterpiece you're working on!"

What Yuri said was right. Anika is still sometimes afraid of Kairi. She still could not accept her husband completely. Sometimes he feels safe and threatened, and that often frustrates him. Anika wanted to get rid of her fear for her husband.

Kairi looked at Anika to make sure her wife did not have a problem seeing the heinous actions she had done. Their eyes met and Anika tried to smile at him.

But upon seeing the photos of the sadistically murdered corpse, the corpse of the priest who had been kind to her, and the nuns who were always cheerful babysitting the children of the orphanage, it made her unable to hold back tears over the only good memories she had in this village back then.

If it wasn't a virgin they wouldn't have consumed the meat and thrown it into the woods to be eaten by wild animals."

Actually the story told by Yuri sounds very scary, but he became unfocused with the interaction of the father of the child who looks adorable in front of him. Anika slightly laughed seeing her daughter now patting her father's cheeks and ruffling her hair.

"I'm sorry she doesn't want to sleep anymore" Yuri said, now putting Irina into a baby box, and giving her dolls and toys. "Are you calmer?"

He was calmer, but his fear of Kairi still could not be lost.

"What a terrible thing your husband is, he won't hurt the people he loves as long as you don't hurt him." Anika was more scared. "Look, I've been converted now and try to live happily with my little family."

Happy yes .... True, even psychopaths would want to live happily. They change when they are happy.

Anika returns home and catches up with Kairi in the car. In the car Kairi seems to be asleep the influence of the drugs he drank.

If he falls asleep like this, he doesn't look dangerous at all. Anika started stroking her head and kept thinking about their future. Will they both be able to live happily and have children? That's Anika's only hope now. For now he wants nothing but happiness for Kairi.
