The Wrong Way to Love a Psychopath

The Wrong Way to Love a Psychopath
Chapter 44 Secluded

A year has passed since Anika asked for a divorce and left her home. It's been a year but she still can't leave the past behind her married life with Yaslan.

He also had to go long after escaping from Kairi's entanglement, now he again had to go far to get over Yaslan. Anika was actually tired of what had happened to her all this time.

Right now he lives very far away from all his memories in the past. Anika chooses to live in a cold, secluded village. A place he doesn't like at all. He did this because he did not want to live comfortably. So if he gets in trouble again, he won't feel like he's falling too deep. Anika does not want to live a luxurious life, she only seeks tranquility in a quiet place.

First arriving in this remote village Anika struggles to find a job. After a long search he finally got a job at an orphanage. He works very hard even though sometimes he is not paid. In the evening he worked in a factory packing goods. He only has time to sleep in the morning.

Anika works night shifts at the only hospital in the village. He was hoping to become a full-time employee at the hospital. But the hospital prioritizes locals over immigrants like himself even though he has a nurse certificate, unlike other employees.

Anika deliberately takes a lot of work at once to take her mind off her former life. She still often dreams of seeing her husband Yaslan having sex with many women, so she avoids sleeping. Anika felt that she would not dream if she fell asleep because of exhaustion.

But with this routine of physically torturing her it made her feel hollow. In this village he began to feel his life purpose was lost.

"The weather forecast for tomorrow will rain from late afternoon at 6."

Anika turns on the radio to listen to news about the village development while lying on her cheap mattress. He wanted to get to know her better in order to enjoy life in this remote, foreign village.

"Many reports of missing women in the village next door have been popping up since last year ...."

The weekend he thought to be able to relax, but over time Anika overslept.

"Dear, I love you." In the dream, Anika saw Yaslan lying next to her. Yaslan took her hand and kissed her for a long time. Anika still misses her ex-husband.

"I love you, but I want to enjoy another woman's body." Anika then hears******* the breath of another woman and sees Ann sitting on top of Yaslan, in a position to have sex with her ex-husband.

Anika woke up with tears.

She thought she could forgive her ex-husband's actions, especially if she was just framed and did not really intend to betray him. But still, imagining her husband had the heart to cheat on his body with another woman made him disgusted.

Anika feels she is not really loved and no longer confident. He always tried to trust Yaslan, but his trust had been betrayed.

It had been a year but Anika was still crying over her fate.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"Anika's mother is married?"

Anika is obviously still wearing her wedding ring so as not to be teased by other men, but still the flirtatious man has no job wandering anywhere. In the village or town the same.

"Today I saw an oriental face, there has never been a resident as beautiful as you."

Anika remained indifferent to letting the birds chirp. He pretended to be busy writing something unimportant in his notebook.

"Your writing is also very pretty."

At the moment Anika is guarding the night shift in the hospital. Usually there is not much to do. He usually just sits at the receptionist and follows the orders of regular employees who usually never give orders.

The fat man was a security man who had recently been on night shift duty at the weekend. It works nothing but to seduce a female nurse.

Shortly thereafter, an ambulance siren just entered the hospital courtyard. A patient covered in blood was taken into the ER room. Anika watched him pass by when he just came out of the bathroom.

Looking at the clock that shows three o'clock in the morning, he thought he could not go home quickly because there was an impromptu patient.

Just sitting in the reception room and doing nothing but seeing people passing by made Anika feel like a statue that was ignored.

Several policemen in full blue Dongker uniforms and his trademark hat began to enter the building past the reception desk. One of them looks the most striking with a tall body and a handsome face. Anika had never seen such an authoritative man before.

Because too busy to pay attention to the police hat that he had rarely seen in the city, Anika did not realize she was glimpsed and continued to be stared at by the man until it disappeared from view.

"Please copy this data into the computer!" Finally after five months of working at this hospital, Anika got her first order.

He then typed in the data that seemed to be the patient data that had been brought in. A young woman of her age with an oriental face. During his stay here he had never met anyone with a face like this. Anika thinks maybe this woman is just a tourist or like herself a newcomer.

Anika does not know yet that she has chosen the wrong location.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

In the afternoon Anika began washing blankets and bed sheets from the mattress in the orphanage. This village is very ancient, thought Anika, washing clothes should be by hand.

"Does Anika's mother live in this village?" Perhaps of all the people he knew at his workplace, this pastor was the friendliest to him.

"This village is so beautiful" Anika replied trying to forget her loneliness.

The middle-aged priest with two old nuns had been cultivating this orphanage since ten years ago. The children in this orphanage are not many. Only about 8 children.

"Today many women have disappeared and sometimes been found murdered. Anika's mother had to be careful when walking alone at night" the pastor advised her.

Anika is always excited to see children who play cheerfully, although sometimes her stomach suddenly becomes sick and nauseous. This is a natural reaction for people who have trauma. Anika really wants to have children even though she does not believe in taking care of them. But now that he was widowed, he thought of adopting one of them.

Sometimes couples come to adopt children. Couples who look friendly and get along, this sight always makes him sad and hurt.

Despite wanting to be alone, Anika sometimes misses affection. He is easily lonely. But he did not want to expect much, because the people he loved were far away from him.

Until one day when Anika is cleaning her wardrobe in her cramped house, Anika finds her lost underwear. Instead of being horrified, Anika was hoping for something.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Can you guess who will fill Anika's solitude?
