Anika just stared blankly at Kairi's outstretched hand before her.

He then looked at the face of Kairi who was still smiling at him. He knew that deep down in his heart he missed the man who had successfully removed his trauma, the man who had become his first love.

When he took this hand, he could come back to life with her.

Living with a psychopath.

Anika then sees Yaslan unconscious behind Kairi. She had become his wife, where perhaps he could leave her husband alone.

"I'm sorry" she refused as subtly as possible Kairi's invitation to go with her. "I've become someone else's wife."

Anika tried to take her eyes off Kairi, not wanting to show her sad face.

The ring finger on Kairi's outstretched right hand is still adorned by their worn-out ring since they married in an unnatural manner six years ago. He pulled her hand as soon as he saw that Anika's ring finger had replaced the expensive ring with a jewel.

She then bent her body closer to Anika who reflexively closed her eyes, afraid of being beaten.

Kairi stroked her hair. With her trademark smile she uttered "Congratulations," in a sad tone.

Knowing this would be their last meeting, the young man then brought his face closer to kiss Anika. Anika turned her face away, not wanting to get in touch with him anymore. He hopes Kairi no longer wishes for him and seeks him out.

A little disappointed his feelings were rejected, Kairi stood up. He then turned to leave after saying, "I'll make sure you're happy."

Anika didn't really understand her last words. He just felt himself evil. Kairi had helped them but coldly she rejected the poor man. Long before this incident Kairi had helped him. Thanks to her, Anika can live happily with Yaslan.

Anika begins to cry over the fate that befell Kairi and herself, two children with the same trauma of persecution, just want to be happy. She was actually afraid that if Kairi kissed her, Anika's feelings for her would return.

He realized he still harbored feelings for his psychopathic hero.

But this is his life choice. He wished he had no regrets about having chosen this path of life.

A month after the incident, things started to return to normal. Yaslan became a bit traumatized, but thanks to treatment from a psychiatrist his condition began to gradually improve. For Anika, Kairi's presence is more vulnerable than those criminals. She recovered faster than her husband.

Actually thanks to her past experience, Anika has a stronger mentality than Yaslan. Therefore she tried to encourage her husband by being more cheerful. Yaslan's recovery was greatly helped because of Anika

"You're great, Yang." praised Yaslan one Sunday morning.

Anika had woken up and prepared breakfast. He replaces Yaslan's job to cook. As a result of the incident, Yaslan was often dumbstruck and sleep-deprived. Fortunately, he immediately went to a psychiatrist to prevent the trauma from getting worse.

"I'm just focused on the future. Don't let the past haunt you." said Anika smilingly trying to improve her husband's mood.

"I've tried, but every time you close your eyes, only you who are abused are imagined. You were treated like that, not me, but still..."

As a result of the events of that time, Yaslan became frequently having nightmares. Torture on him, murder in front of his eyes, but what traumatized him the most was the abuse of his wife in front of him. He felt himself failing in protecting his own wife.

Anika hugged Yaslan from behind who was sitting at the dining table. "I'm fine" he whispered. "Honey took good care of me. I'm still alive thanks to you."

Those words made Yaslan calmer. She turned around and kissed Anika gently.

Nearly half a year they could have fully gone through that traumatic period. The life of the couple can also return to normal. Yaslan pursued his lag in studies with more study. Anika has finished her script and just waits for the thesis trial. He deliberately sped up his studies because he did not want to waste more time and money.

Sometimes Anika thinks of Kairi. Since then there has been no news of him. Police have charged him with murder of Raymon and his friends. Anika and Yaslan were not present as witnesses so she was arrested.

"He shouldn't have to kill!" that's something Yaslan said. Kairi has helped them, but she doesn't want her and Anika to get involved with a killer.

Raymon and his men turned out to be drug dealers and users. He even has prostitution and other black market ventures. Raymon has even smuggled in girls, kidnapping them and forcing them to work for him. Thanks to Kairi the police can get a top-class criminal. And because he has a history of mental illness, he hasn't been detained for a long time.

Anika had washed and folded Kairi's hoddie which she put in plastic and stored in a closet. She hugged him for a while before leaving for work with her husband.

On the day of Anika's graduation, Yaslan was present to bring her a bouquet of flowers. Anika was very happy for her surprise which turned out to be there again.

Yaslan had secretly invited Anika's parents.

She wishes Anika happiness over her surprise, but seeing them Anika's heart cracks. He'll be allowed to go to the bathroom and take a sedative.

"It's great to have a family!" yaslan was driving to a meal together to celebrate Anika's graduation at the restaurant.

Thanks to her medicine, Anika could control her mind a little. He can be cheerful back and eat with his family in peace.

Being happy is my revenge on them!

He tried to convince himself that there was nothing to fear. His efforts bore fruit until they finally had to part. As her mother and father embraced her, Anika was sculpting. He got in the car immediately.

"I'm sorry he's tired. See you soon Pah, Mah." Yaslan said goodbye.

"Don't forget to ask our traveling show to my son!"

"Of course, dad."

In the car the couple was silent.

"Congratulations to Yang?" ask her to Anika.

Anika did not answer, she closed her eyes pretending to be asleep. Yaslan grabbed his head and stroked his hair.

At home, they cleaned up and prepared for bed.

Yaslan hopes to get a reward for the surprise he gave his wife earlier and tries to tease Anika.

"It was so beautiful," he said, constantly kissing his wife's beautiful body.

"I'm tired, Yang. Going to sleep."

"Just a minute, my dear. You're not sleeping a problem."

Anika felt bad and finally nodded her head. Yaslan immediately hugged his wife getting ready to devour her until Anika held her back.

"Awhile, Yang" he said, forgetting to take his Kb pill.

Yaslan was surprised Anika was still diligent in drinking it. "You've graduated, don't drink anymore, do you, Yang?"

Anika remained silent.

She is not ready to have children. He was afraid of molesting his son as he had been persecuted by his parents. Anika is afraid of being a bad parent.

"From today there's no need to drink" Yaslan said, removing the medicine box from Anika's hands.

He did not know, there was something hidden by his wife.
