After the horrific events of that time, Yaslan and Anika temporarily stay at the hotel until they find a new home. They agreed to move to a safer location.
It did not take long until they found their new home located in a housing. Anika looked at the contents of the house that was still empty and not filled with furniture. Guilt mixed with a hint of excitement at their new residence.
"Honey don't be afraid anymore, yes" said Yaslan trying to calm Anika while hugging her. "The police know everything and I've put a safety on our new home. It just so happens that there's a friend of mine who works at the home security office."
Anika just found out there is a security office that installs CCTV and watches their home 24 hours every day. Just by paying a monthly fee, their home is safe from outside threats. The home alarm is connected to the office, and security personnel will immediately come to the location of the alarm to sound.
"Sorry Yang, because of me we have to move."
Their home is now far away from the study sites of Yaslan and Anika. And since the two of them were still paying for Yaslan's medical school, their financial circumstances could actually be said to be mediocre.
"Speak what the hell? The most important thing is that safety is not money!"
Although their home is far away, Yaslan makes sure his wife is always safe until the destination. Every day he always tried to take his wife and pick her up to work and college.
For some time their lives could walk back peacefully, until one day the sky became darker than the day before.
Yaslan secretly picked up the phone from his wife. "Wait a minute, Yang" she whispered. "There's still one patient to handle."
"Well, Yang." Across the phone, Anika understands her husband's emergency. He calls just to make sure Yaslan's willingness to pick him up, or if he can go home alone. "I'll wait for ya."
"Just don't leave the hospital area! Love you." - Love you." Yaslan immediately ended his phone call and returned to face the patient who was talking to a nurse.
Today the schedule is more crowded than usual. Eight o'clock past there are still patients to be controlled. Incidentally this patient is his subscription since the beginning of the check-up, so no other doctor can replace him.
As much as possible Yaslan sped up his consultation time, but his patients seemed to not understand his subtle reprimand and constantly raised questions about his illness. Yaslan began to fidget and deliberately looked at his watch many times in front of the couple.
Finally, at half-nine in the evening, the patient came out of the room. Yaslan immediately contacted his wife to inform her that he would be picking her up soon, but her call was not picked up.
With the cell phone in the ear, Yaslan hurried down the stairs to the basement of the car park because the elevator was too time-consuming. As he reached into his white coat pocket, he forgot that his car keys were still left in the drawer so he went back upstairs.
He was constantly repeating phone calls to his wife who never picked up the phone. Overly worried, Yaslan called an emergency call instead.
"Accident or incident?"
"Sorry sir, um... My wife didn't pick up the phone." Yaslan cursed himself now feeling like a fool.
"Has there been any incident that happened sir?"
"No sir, I'm just worried because my wife used to be..." Unfinished he explained the situation, he was cut off by his officers.
"If you call the emergency number, it means that there has been an accident or a crime such as robbery, kidnapping, or murder..."
Yaslan immediately turned off his phone feeling it was pointless to hear their explanation. He immediately called his wife back.
But this time the number could not be reached.
Overly concerned about Anika's safety, Yaslan increases her car's speed and nearly breaks traffic rules. He carelessly parked his car and immediately came out half-run into the mental hospital.
How relieved he was to find his wife standing looking at the notice board back at him.
"Hosh...." Yaslan almost died of suffocation which at high speed was trying to pick up his wife and was too much to worry about her.
Anika turned her body aware of the heavy breathing that sounded from behind.
"What's up, Yang?" tanyanya was worried to see the state of her husband.
Yaslan did not answer him and just hugged his wife which made him even more surprised.
"Why is your phone dead?" his question could finally catch his breath.
Yaslan felt his struggle was in vain, but he was more than happy to see his wife in safety. He smiled happily and the two lovebirds joined hands on the way out of the building to the car.
Just a second to take his eyes off Anika, there was someone from behind silencing Anika's mouth and putting her in the cargo car that had been prepared nearby.
In the same instant, Yaslan tries to chase after his captor, but loses quickly. He immediately started his own car, trying to chase the big car but lost track of it as soon as he entered the big road.
The main road is often crowded with cargo cars and large trucks until dawn because it is a place to enter and exit the toll road.
Yaslan stopped and hit the steering wheel of his car.
He had tried as quickly as possible to pick up his wife, but instead lost his beloved woman in front of his own eyes. Yaslan ruffled his hair and desperately called the police.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Time has shown at three in the morning. Yaslan was still at the police station to be questioned. There has been no news about the existence of Anika which makes it even more frustrating.
The police allowed him to go home and he returned empty-mindedly to his home.
He looked at the house he had just contracted with full security as if it was meaningless. His efforts to bring his wife every day seemed futile.
His wife was once kidnapped, and had to be unlucky to be kidnapped again. What crime did his wife ever commit to be treated like this?!
Yaslan tries to sleep but can't. He couldn't just wait, so he started to figure out who would do this to his unfortunate wife.
At first he suspected it was Kairi, his kidnapper. But he's being treated in a mental hospital, there's no way he can be free to roam.
Then he thought it was crazy that psychopaths could run away from where they were locked up. He half expected to try to call the RSJ where Kairi was being treated.
"Hallo, can talk to Kairi Evans." Yaslan memorized the name of this man when he forced him to move to another hospital.
"What are you doing, sir?" answer the call from the end of the phone.
"Ehm, I want to make sure when is the next control schedule with the family?"
"For a moment, sir, please wait."
Yaslan waited anxiously. If Kairi was still being treated there, who could he possibly suspect?
"Hello, Sir? The patient named Kairi was discharged a few months ago."
Here goes! thought.
"When was he released, Mom? At what address?"
"Sorry, Sir. In order to maintain privacy, we can't tell you the address. But our patient was discharged last February and picked up by the family."
Three months ago in March they got a terror threat in their old home.
"Thank you" Yaslan said before ending the call.
With this information he was very sure who did it.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Thank you for your support always.
Is it true that Yaslan thought that Kairi was the culprit?
