Marrying the Killer of my Girlfriend

Marrying the Killer of my Girlfriend
CONTRARINESS

Justjust please.

Josh Rainer, the patient who is also the CEO of a well-known app company in my country is now strangling me on his bed.

She overcame me and really grabbed me by the neck. His eyes looked at me sharply and implied a deep hatred.

"To.to.long.."

I can only groan a little.

I was looking for a way to kick him but Josh's grip was really strong.

I tried to hold his hand, using the remnants of my strength. But he's getting stronger and stifling me.

I've had trouble breathing now.

I tried to reach my phone in my pants pocket. Hoping to call Rikian to save me.

However, Josh swiftly stopped my movements.

He even threw my phone on the floor.

I look at him for mercy. I really can't hold on anymore.

Dio, help me.

I'm gonna be done.

"To.longs.. Dio. help me.."

Suddenly Josh loosened his grip.

"Dio help me!" I took out the remains of my strength.

Unexpectedly, Josh is now releasing his grip on me.

I coughed and still felt weak at the sight of the odd change happening to Josh.

Josh looks scared now.

Josh now clasped his hands together hysterically looking at me.

"No!" his yell.

I got out of bed to save myself. Just as Rikian came in to bring Josh to lunch.

"Mother Doctor!"

It was a shock to see me sitting on the floor, and Josh was still screaming.

"Yetoooooo!"

Now he even tried to hit himself.

I was still in a huff and shock, but still tried to get up from my place and go to the medicine box located beside Josh's bed table.

I hurriedly searched for an anti-depressant drug and calculated the dosage in one shot.

Still trying to reset my breath, I carefully approached Josh. Now that the situation turned around, Josh was the one who looked so scared that it wasn't difficult for me to hold his arm and inject medicine for him.

Slowly, Josh hunglai and fell silent. His eyes were empty and he fell asleep shortly after.

I fell back on the floor still confused by what happened.

Rikian's trying to help me. I got back up and told him to take care of Josh and make sure he ate his lunch when he woke up.

Then I went back to my room with a mind that rippled like a machine.

I'm sure Josh did lose his memory.

But Josh should only have lost the memory that happened before the accident. From his movements, his memory after the accident should be normal even though he does not know for sure who he is.

That way, he should have reacted normally to answer all my questions, but he pretended to be dazed and did not want to answer anything.

My analysis is less likely to be wrong. He changed his own clothes in pajamas and put them in the dump is a real proof of his brain functioning normally after an accident.

But he covered it up.

I don't know what the motive is.

What really happened to Josh?

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was writing an observation report the first day I handled Josh in my room when my door was knocked.

Celine.

"I heard Josh tantrum again and attacked you?" Celine asked in a haughty tone.

"Betul Ma'am, while I was observing," I replied.

"I told you you can only meet her if there's a nurse? You want to break your contract on your first day of work?"

Huh huh?

I guess, Celine will be worried because Josh is back attacking people. However, he only cared about those ridiculous offense points.

"I just want to check and observe. There's Rikian there too and I don't do any therapy there so I don't want to where my fault lies" I defended myself.

I continued, "Considering me, I break the rules if I do therapy without a nurse or the rules have you changed in a day?"

Celine seemed annoyed by my defense.

"What are your actions going forward? Any new findings today?" he tried to forget his suspicions.

I spontaneously wanted to make a new discovery about the possibility that Josh had reacted normally, but somehow he pretended to be passive. However, I held him.

I knew Celine was the one who hired me but with Josh's current state of the puzzle, it felt like I wanted to convey it when everything was clear.

I'll keep what happened today from everyone and make sure Josh's condition is stable when I submit a progress report later.

"I'll check back tomorrow but from today's findings it looks like the post-accident trauma Josh felt was very deep" I explained.

"Then what's your plan?" the tanya still folds the chest.

"I've given Mr. Rikian a list of nutritious foods that can strengthen Josh's memory."

"In addition, I will prescribe some medications Josh needs, such as memory boosters and anti-depressants if Josh's condition returns out of control."

"Finally, I will also do some therapy to remind him of his past" I explained.

"OK, tomorrow you can give the recipe to the nurse, she will come tomorrow morning. For therapy, I want to report periodically each week how it's progressing" Celine said as she passed. He just walked out without greeting me again.

I shake my head in a haughty manner.

It seemed, not informing Celine of the incident earlier this afternoon was the right decision. I will definitely be undermined and urged to continue to refine my observation if I convey this.

However, Josh's case is unique.

If Josh is still hospitalized, I will definitely consult my mentor Doctor Bernard to conclude what happened with Josh today.

Unfortunately, I can't do it because it's no longer associated with the hospital.

Oh yea.

I can ask Anna.

My best friend must have another opinion about Josh's current condition. Just like me, Anna is also interested in mental and neurological health specialties. This similarity is what makes us close since the doctor's internship program first.

I was looking for my phone to call Anna when I realized I couldn't find it anywhere.

Oh naw.

My phone still seems to be in Josh's room!

Yeah, he threw my phone when I was trying to find reinforcements this afternoon.

It's showing at 11 p.m. Josh should have gone back to sleep according to the estimated sedative I gave to Rikian this afternoon.

I could have gone downstairs and asked one of the housekeepers to pick it up, but I didn't want to interrupt their break.

Alright, I got up from the recliner and rushed towards Josh's room which was on the right wing on this floor.

Saaat arrived in front of his room, not a single ART guarding. I opened the door slowly. I don't want to wake Josh up and make a fuss back.

I fumbled in the dark of Josh's room and guessed where my phone was thrown by Josh this afternoon. In this room, only the main light in the living room is alive. I focused my search on the carpet around under the bed in dim light.

I was stunned for a moment when I learned my phone wasn't found anywhere on the bedroom floor. My eyes were still searching while adapting to the darkness of this room when I saw Josh lying relaxed on the bed.

He fell asleep without wearing his blanket. I could not see his face clearly because of the darkness of this room. I deliberately didn't turn on the lights because I didn't want the prince to wake up.

"Josh, I hope you get well soon. That way, I can return free to determine my life," I murmured.

Spontaneously, I then covered her.

"You'll be healed. I promise."

I went back to looking for a cell phone this time around the living room of the Prince's room. Still, I can't find my phone anywhere. Maybe Rikian picked it up and forgot to give it to me?

I gave up and decided to go back to my room. I slowly closed the door so as not to wake Josh up.

When I closed the door, I didn't know that Josh's eyelids were back open. And he's heard all my mumbling all night.
