Marrying the Killer of my Girlfriend

Marrying the Killer of my Girlfriend
INCEPTION

In front of me lies Josh Rainer Gurnawijaya.

Josh is the CEO of an up-and-coming telecommunications company in the country.

At the age of 28, he managed to reach the highest position in the prestigious company after replacing his father who died last month.

Josh had previously lived in the United States to attend college and start his own business.

His father's death forced Josh to return to Indonesia and continue his father's role to lead the company.

Not until a month of controlling the company, he had to lose his memory due to one accident.

I then read the patient history the nurse gave me. Josh was rushed to the hospital four days ago in a coma.

Four days ago was the time when I woke up from my fainting in this hospital.

At that time Josh received intensive care led directly by Doctor Bernard and the surgical operation team.

Josh suffered only minor physical injuries to the head, but the forceful impact resulted in deep wounds that led to amnesia retrogade.

Retrogade amnesia is a condition in which the patient is unable to recall information or events in the past.

In this case, Dr. Bernard concludes that Josh lost all of his memory before the accident, including who he was.

From my observation today, it's likely that Josh also experienced trauma making it difficult for him to express himself.

From Dr. Bernard's notes, it is also known that Josh experienced side effects of amnesia, such as tremors, difficulty coordinating body movements and confusion.

Dr Bernard also said it was likely that Josh would recover by 6-8 months with intensive therapy and a balanced nutritional setting.

The treatment that must be done is occupational therapy and hypnosis. However, I have to check first how severe Josh's current condition is to determine the right treatment.

"Excuse me, are you Dr Selena?"

The voice of the middle-aged woman broke my concentration while reading Josh Rainer's observation. In front of me, a woman with an elegant appearance invited me to speak.

"I'm Josh's mother" she said.

"Oh, Good afternoon Mom, nice to meet Mom," welcome me. I invited him to sit next to Josh.

Josh is currently sleeping after lunch and is being given antidepressant medication.

Many times, Josh did not respond to all my questions. The only response he had was to see Doctor Bernard come in to check on him.

"Thank you for saving me, Doctor," he said, which made me and Doctor Bernard compact.

However, the reaction proved that Josh Rainer did experience retrogade amnesia and post-brain injury trauma.

The proof, he still remembered that Doctor Bernard was the first to examine him when he regained consciousness. Josh only loses his past memory, but his current memory remains normal.

"Doctors have seen the situation right away, right? Will the doctor be able to work in my house tomorrow?" josh's mother said straight to the topic.

Josh's mother looked worried and anxious.

Josh is the only child of the Gurnawijaya family. If Josh doesn't survive, then he doesn't have anyone else in the world.

"Yes, I can start tomorrow Mom" I replied. "Sorry ma'am, how about the payment?"

"I'll prepare a check tomorrow for you" he replied flatly. "I'm gonna get Josh out of the hospital tonight."

"Oh yeah, just call me Celine. Will he be hard to heal?" celine's mother asked as she carefully touched Josh's hand.

"It still needs a deep observation, ma'am, but normally this disease can be cured with therapy in the next six to eight months" I explained.

"He doesn't need to go to the hospital anymore! We will provide all the equipment and medicine that the Doctor needs in my house," this time Mother Celine firmly rebuked me.

"But for maximum treatment Josh should stay in the hospital periodically check, ma'am" I told him.

"That's why I hired you" he said. "If not, what good are you?" fierce Mom Celine.

I was a little surprised by the difference in Celine's treatment of me. At first he was friendly although flat, but now he instead snapped the advice of a doctor for the maximum recovery of his son.

Suddenly, I remembered Becca's words earlier. Josh's family doesn't want the public to know that Josh is unwell because it could threaten the company's valuation.

Therefore, the family decides to heal Josh personally. That way, people will not know that Josh is actually in a state of memory loss.

"Well Mother Celine, I will do my best to heal Josh" I said.

At that moment, without us knowing Josh suddenly woke up.

She looked at me and Celine in turn. Until finally a deafening voice sounded from his mouth.

"OUT! COME OUT AND NEVER SHOW UP AGAIN!"

I was still trying to catch what was happening in front of me.

Suddenly everything happened quickly. In an instant, Josh reacted by throwing pillows and blankets at Celine.

Fortunately, Celine was sprightly and went straight out of the room.

Josh just had a tantrum.

He beat his own mother.

I tried to calm Josh down, but he was getting out of control.

I tried to calm him down. Slowly he began to soften. Josh's emotions were still going up and down when I tried to stroke his shoulder.

Unexpectedly, after that Josh even moved quickly to grab me.

Oh, naw.

I was shocked to death and prepared for the worst.

However, I was wrong.

He didn't grab me and tried to beat me.

He hugged me instead. Real tight.

"I'm sorry" he said in my ear. With its distinctive heavy sound.

That's all he said. Then, he continued his embrace of me until he fell back asleep due to the effects of the medicine that was still running.

Leaving me alone awakens in the open memory of my ex-boyfriend.

Sinking into my mind about Dio.

The hug reminded me that I would never have been hugged by the person I loved.

It's not you saying sorry for not being able to be with me anymore, Dio.

And it's not you who's hugging me now, even though I really want to

Dio, help me move on without you huh
