Never Not

Never Not
Ch. 1: Mr. White and Black Shadow

Tone saw his phone many times. She has dressed up for the day. Even she was willing to go to the salon first just so she could look special. The knee-length white dress she used was already very much in line with the bouquet of flowers and decorations that night – in this fine dining restaurant that she had dreamed so much about. He did not expect the day he had long dreamed would come soon.

The day she felt like a princess. Candle light dinner can feel ordinary or meaningless to others, but not with Tone. He had long been looking forward to times like this.

Spend this special time with the people he loves.

However, which princess should wait for her prince to come all this time?

It had been almost an hour, yet there was no sign of the presence of the person who prepared this for him. Usually, in romantic scenes, if not walking with the lover towards the table that has been

ordered, at least he walked alone with the man waiting at the table with a bunch of flowers. But, Nada set out alone to this place, to an empty table that had been decorated in such a way. It's like after being taken flying high and then being knocked down again.

The real tone began to fidget. He was also a little embarrassed. Lest the people around him had been busy looking at him. Plus today is Valentine's Day, so average restaurant contents

this is a couple who spent the night together. Nada had already rejected the waitress who had come to him. Maybe they also do not feel good about starting to deliver an appetizer for women who sit alone. Besides, Adrian didn't order anything for him. But, it's impossible, right? Because it has been ordered this sweet decoration.

Nada had given a message and attempted to contact Adrian, but was not picked up. Until finally the tone turned into a sign that he turned off his phone, that's when Nada felt that today was one of his worst days. The girl stared at the screen of her phone with pushy eyes.

Don't cry Bianca Karina Nada.

Tone tried to calm himself even though tears had piled up in his eyes.

It's not the first time he's been dumped. But, she had not expected that her moment of abandonment would also happen on Valentine's Day like this; a moment she had been waiting for. Yang

most painfully, he did not expect that Adrian would do it. The man already knew how difficult Nada was to open her heart.

Shit! Tone cursed the tears that began to fall on his face. He hurriedly tried to wipe with a tissue. He does not want to flood tears. He didn't want to look pathetic today. Tone raised his hand slowly to give a sign for the waitress to get closer to him.

“Would you like it, Ma'am, Masnya?” The maid greeted kindly; getting ready to prepare her meal.

Tone Just smile. “Bill it yes, Mbak.”

The waitress' smile instantly turned clumsy but she tried to remain friendly. “For today's booking, everything is settled, Mbak.”

Tone nodded slowly. He tried to strengthen himself to stand up, smiled kindly to the waitress and then walked out of the restaurant while holding back his tears. However, everything immediately spilled as soon as he got near his car. Even Nada did not wait for him to get into the car first, he was already crying as much as he wanted to lean on the front door of the steering wheel. After that, he unlocked the car and got into the car.

There is nothing more painful than hearing that a Nada must ultimately come back heartbroken.

***

How long can a broken heart heal for a person?

A month? A year? Forever then?

For Nada, her heartbreak towards Adrian could probably be longer than that. Tone who previously had to fail marriage, took a long time until three years until finally he could open up to Adrian. Their relationship is actually also not arguably already in status (okay indeed Nada admitted he was very stupid), but the one he lived with Adrian is also not the usual approach. How Adrian tried to treat Nada's heartache for two years they knew each other, it was unexpected that it would end like this. Without any clear clarity. One week after the damned Valentine incident, Adrian only sent one short message, “I’m really sorry, Nad.”

Sorry for what is not explained. Nada was also at the stage of getting fed up with asking why to Adrian. Maybe it is true, sometimes meeting a broken person in the lowest moment of our lives only results in an unfinished story. That ends with a happy story just a fingertip. The rest make a bite of a finger.

“Matcha Latte with Soy Milk Grande Two for Kak Nada!” the barista was friendly and excited. Very contrary to the appearance of the super tangled Tone face. The girl was stranded alone at Starbucks. Usually he used to be alone, but there was a time when he and Adrian spent every day at Starbucks in Adrian's apartment.

Duh, why the hell is being asked again.

Tone turned her body, walked down for a while, and ....

Yak! Jackpot once the girl has to collide with someone. The Matcha Latte in her right hand spilled down her clothes as well as the person in front of her and also ended up falling out of her hands. The Matcha Latte in her left hand was saved. Drinks belonging to the person in front of him is actually also not much different fate. Both of their clothes were wet as a result

“Aduh, sorry yes, Mas.” Tone bowed his body and apologized with a very sliced face. His expression was mixed between sadness and lamenting his fate which added to having to apologize to others.

The man in front of him simply stared at the silent tone without reacting anything. He stared at Nada's face for a second until he finally said casually, “Yes, that's okay, Ma'am.”

“Nad!” Just then there was someone who seemed to be calling him. Tone immediately searched for the source of the voice which turned out to be a man in a blue shirt walking towards them.

“Wah, how are your clothes so wet.” It turned out that he was a friend of the one who had already depleted into this walking Matcha Latte.

“That's relaxing,” the man's response is short. “Mbak is okay?”

Asked like that, actually Nada so willing to cry as much as he pleased. At the ends he just nodded slowly and suddenly thrust his Matcha Latte at the man. Matcha Latte was actually three-quarters of the content, but Nada remained confident.

The man looked at Nada in confusion.

“Pardon mas, don't like ya?” Tone glanced at the falling spill. It seems like the one this guy is drinking is Americano. Typical.

Tone went straight to the counter and ordered one Iced Americano.

“OK, for Mba Tone yes.” The barista was already confident writing it down in the ordered cup.

“Yah, mas, not.” The tone tried to rectify but it just so happened that his name which was only four letters was not a long name to write. But, yes, it's just this name. “Mas later given to that mas yes.” The tone pointed to the two men who now chose to sit in the corner of the coffee shop. After that the girl immediately walked away from the place. The tone did not want to add to the unclear fanfare there.

Plus right now what he just wants to do is just cry!

“Iced Americano Grande with Mbak Tone!” call the barista named Indra. However, a moment later he realized that the customer had walked away from this place and left a message so that this was given to the mas-mas who was sitting in the right corner of this room.

Indra approached the two men and greeted politely. “Excuse me mas, here's the replacement order.”

The faces of the two men looked confused. On the table they are only a frapuccino left which of course belongs to a man whose clothes are still clean and neat.

“What replacement is mas?”

“Coffee replacement that fell earlier.”

“Wah, do not bother mas,” said the man is not tasty.

“This is from mbak who hit kok mas.”

The man was silent for a moment and then took the glass. He noticed the name “Nada” written on the coffee.

“Nada .. “ he said slowly.

“Iya, mass. This is from Mbak Nada.”

“Oke, thank you mas!” suddenly the man's face sounded excited. Indra smiled once more before returning to the barista counter.

“Lo know, Nat, same girl who was?”

“According to lo?”

“Ngak.. Not the lo type either but a girl.”

Natya just silently heard the comments from her friend. Maybe the Coffee Girl is not like the girl he usually approached, but this is the second time Natya witnessed him in a condition that is not careless. Strange, but it makes a Natya will remember Nada.
