Ch. 127: The Situation Read

Finally, Rai and Shohei agreed to work together again. The difference is, Rai remains entangled with the group of fraudsters he once met. To unmask Kazuya Toda that is stored neatly for dozens of years, certainly not easy. The only way is to keep running the mission of fraud by utilizing Yuta's expertise as a professional hacker.

Rai then informed her idea of hacking into the internet and telecommunications networks of the police to shift the focus of the police in Tokyo while the mission was underway. Shohei initially opposed the man's idea because he feared it would cause a stir, but Rai assured that this only lasted an hour and there would be no casualties. Having no other way, Shohei was forced to agree.

Shohei then gathers his team to trace the origins of Kazuya Toda's treasure stored in the safe room. Earlier, he said that Rai was not on their team anymore.

"Rai and I are no longer on the same path."

Yuriko, Kei, and Ryo were shocked by what the man had just revealed.

"Rai has returned to his old gang, where one of their members turns out to be the perpetrator of the Black Shadow broadcast hack."

When Shohei explained like that, Ryo immediately reacted unhappily. Of course he knows the gang in question and also the members who hacked the live broadcast.

Shohei then bowed before the three of them. "Before, I apologized to all of you for these few days I couldn't focus. The matter that happened between me and Rai, there is no need for you to worry because it has nothing to do with this mission. Going forward, I will try not to involve my personal affairs anymore." He turned his head towards Ryo while saying, "I'd like you to choose whether to stay together on this team, or to stop and get out of this mission.

Ryo rounded his eyes. He immediately stood up with his chest deliberately puffed up. "I will still stand on this team, even though my brother is no longer working with you."

Shohei commented a smile. "Now I know why Rai invited you to join the team. But take it easy, we're both still one goal, which is to bring down Kazuya Toda."

The meeting began. Kei reported his search results that followed Eita Kaze secretly. From Kei, Shohei finally found the answer that the treasure stored in the safe room was the result of the sale of illegal weapons.

Because Rai does not know where the safe room warehouse is located, then Shohei also tasked Yuriko and Ryo to get information on the people closest to Kazuya Toda. They can't just rely on Rai. Because, as already explained, Yuta who knows all the ins and outs of the room will only tell Rai right when they commit fraud.

Yuriko then placed the eavesdropping device under the living table Kazuya Toda. From the results of tapping, only three people have access to the safe room, namely Kazuya Toda, Eita Kaze, and also Mr. X.

As per Shohei's instructions, Yuriko then tailed Mr. X. Even when Mr. X goes to the bar for drinks, the girl keeps following him. Yuriko pretends to be a heavily drunk girl, then accidentally crashes herself into Mr. X is drinking on the bar tender table.

"Gomennasai, I didn't accidentally! My gaze was a little bit cloudy," Yuriko said in a voice deliberately made by drunk people.

"Ah, no problem! Be careful not to force walking" said Mr. X is actually getting drunk.

Yuriko staggered towards the exit of the bar. After coming out of the bar, he revealed his real facial expression. It turns out that when accidentally hit his body earlier, the opportunity he used to take Mr.'s wallet. X. He then opened the wallet to take the man's id card. The card was scanned and then he sent it to Ryo to make the exact same id card. As an ex-con and digital expert, he has done this often. Even he can transform exactly the same as Mr. X by simply changing the look of the hair and makeup effects.

The day Rai's team arrives, Ryo disguises himself as Kazuya Toda's confidant, then goes to the warehouse with Shohei dressed in police war uniform. Thanks to the mock id card, the first door can open so easily. However, both of them were jolted when they found out the second door used biometric technology as a security. Fortunately, Ryo's disguise as Mr. X makes the machine can recognize his face. The second door was wide open for both of them. Ryo and Shohei are now standing at the safe room door.

"You can go. I'll wait for Rai here!" shohei's orders.

"good. I will also carry out other duties." Ryo then exited the room through another access road.

Although Shohei first arrived, but Rai's time distance to the hidden basement was only five minutes away from him. So, it did not take long for Shohei to wait for Rai's arrival and again ready to collaborate again.

Inspector Heiji along with the police on duty at the Metropolitan has returned. The police expressed their frustration at the hoax attack that hit the Japanese police.

"We have to find the culprit! He has underestimated the Japanese police force!" inspector Heiji said with anger still burning. Then, his words were immediately welcomed by all the police in the room.

"We can't do it!" sahut Jun immediately, "if this thing leaks out, it will certainly embarrass the police themselves in the eyes of the public and the world. What we need to follow at this time is to improve our security system so that it is not easy to break into" he continued.

Jun then sat down at one of the computer desks, then plugged in his hard drive. With the intelligence of his brain, he was able to restore the security system, communication, and also the internet network that had been taken over by Yuta. Instead, Jun attacks all the computers Yuta uses to hack.

Yuta was struck violently when his entire computer was hit by a backlash that caused his entire program to crash'.

"No way! It can't be!" The man's eyes were wide open as all his data was being transferred to a computer without his control.

"What's wrong?" tanya Haru approached.

"We're caught!" Yuta tries to stop a hack attack that happened to his computer. However, his attempt failed! The computer is controlled by the other party.

Afraid of his identity as a hacker was discovered, he immediately destroyed his entire computer. For a moment, he remembered his communication with Rai which was suddenly interrupted. Could their actions be found out?

In a state of panic, Yuta then said to Haru. "Contact our members right now, have them rush out of the port area. Maybe the cops are heading there."

"What's? Then what about Rai himself?" tanya Haru was no less panicked.

Yuta closed his eyes tightly. "I don't know what happened to him. Our communication was suddenly cut off, the GPS was also untraceable. We better save ourselves now! We've made a mess in the police force, they're definitely not going to stay idle and look for us!"

At the Metropolitan police, Jun smiles knots as he pulls back his hard drive. Inspector Heiji approached him with a look of wonder.

"We've just been fooled all out, but Chief Megumi-san is smiling at the computer like a young man who has just fallen in love!" inspector Heiji protest.

"That's because I just counterattacked the person who just hacked the police force," Jun replied casually.

"really?" Inspector Heiji was suddenly overjoyed, "tell me who it is? Where is his position now? How apparently? I'll catch him now!" said fiery.

On the other hand, the chaos that also occurred in the port due to the issue of bomb blasting, had reached Kazuya Toda's ears. The man who always seemed calm, had read the strange thing that happened tonight. He immediately moved the troops he formed specifically towards the port.

It did not take long, the special forces came to the port of Tokyo. On Kazuya Toda's orders, they headed straight for the warehouse where the safe room was located. When the horde of troops in black uniforms arrived in front of the warehouse, two black-robed figures complete with masks attached to their faces, had stood firmly in front of it as if welcoming their arrival.

Whether who started first, Kazuya Toda's special forces and the two masked figures advanced simultaneously and attacked each other.
