Ch. 119: Learn from the Shells!

True, the figure of the man who walked full of charisma was Megumi Jun, the Metropolitan Police Chief who had just finished taking the title of law professor abroad. The man with an IQ of 190 is now approaching Shohei who welcomes him with joy.

Shohei saluted his senior who had become the supreme superior of the Metropolitan Police.

"Arigatou," Jun retorted with a special smile.

They continued the chat at the restaurant that Shohei had booked before.

Jun's wife thrust a parcel at Shohei. "It's Sachi and Rui's for you."

Shohei was stunned for a moment when Jun's wife mentioned his former lover's name. He took the parcel that had been written by his name.

"Are Sachi and her husband okay? I haven't seen him in a long time." He recalled, the last time he met her while attending the girl's wedding was exactly a year ago.

"They decided to stay in Germany. A week ago we had a chance to see them there," Jun replied, "huft, if I still had a little sister, I'd betrothed you again."

Naturally Jun said that, Shohei was more than just a junior sister to him. The bespectacled man is where he shares grievances, work and personal problems. As for Shohei, his respect for his senior never faded. To him, Jun was a teacher in every way, especially with regards to investigation. He often brainstorms with her to solve case after case.

Jun's wife directly connected with the face facing towards Shohei. "He never got along with Rui! If they meet, they always argue trivial things," said Jun's wife tells of Jun's relationship with her sister's husband who was also Shohei's upperclassman first.

"really?" Shohei's eyes were rounded with lips that held back laughter.

"What is your relationship with Matsumoto's son?" june asked who started eating the dishes, "even though I'm abroad, I still know the rumors that occur in the office."

The voice that became the parting sentence between himself and Shohei was back in his mind. He realized that he had chosen the road opposite Shohei. After lunch with Jun Megumi, Shohei visits Matsumoto's residence. He was free to waltz in like his own house, because the maid had known him as Seina's future husband.

Standing in front of Seina's room door, it seemed that the man had prepared to meet her lover. He seemed to take a deep breath while closing his eyes.
