Ch. 133: For a Moment ....

"Then what should we do to stop the bomb? There are still quite a number of people trying to get out of this building!" rai asked as he rubbed his face violently.

"The bomb can't be defused unless we hold the remote control" Shohei replied.

"So, how? Are we all really going to die?" Seina showed a panicked face of fear.

Yuriko looked out of the building, there were a lot of people who had just made it out of the building they were walking in at the moment. His eyes turned to look at Shohei, Rai, and Kei who had resigned themselves. Then there was also Seina still frightened in Shohei's arms. Lastly, he saw a time marker that kept going backwards.

"Oniichan, where are you? Leave the bomb, and escape with the people!" ryo shouted through the earpiece joint.

Rai's eyes immediately rounded perfectly. "really. We better get out of here right now!"

"There's no time!" yuriko shouted as she walked back away from her comrades, "all of you .. must stay alive! You must survive to continue the mission!"

At that very second, Rai, Shohei and Kei gasped at the words coming out of the girl's mouth.

"Yu-chan, what do you mean?"

Rai tried to approach him. However, Yuriko made a spontaneous decision by running out of the room while carrying an active bomb.

"Yu-chan, what are you doing? Don't act stupid!" shouted Rai who followed after him, followed by Shohei and Kei.

"Yuriko, where are you going?" shohei shouted through the earphone channel.

"What's going on?" ask Ryo to be confused.

"Yuriko went and brought an active bomb!" reply Kei while running.

Ryo was aghast. He who was in the outside area, then immediately ran into the plaza building to join the other team. The atmosphere in the building was starting to be quiet, only a handful of people were left.

"Yu-chan! Yum-chan!" Rai unceasingly mentioned the name of the woman who had lived with him.

"I'm sorry, but you better not follow me. Run and save yourself!" Yuriko continued to run in the opposite direction to the running of the people. He does not want to stop, although Rai, Shohei, and Kei continue to chase him from behind. People who saw him hugging the bomb, then shouted hysterically while away from him.

"Yu-chan, please put the bomb down!" rai shouted in a deep cry.

Yuriko's steps stopped when she saw Shohei running with Seina from the front towards her. The girl immediately turned around and chose to run to the left. When Shohei almost reached her, Seina suddenly fell.

Shohei turned around and approached Seina quickly. "You okay?"

"Catch him!" seina Pinta.

Shohei instead crouched down while facing his back towards Seina. Understanding what the man wanted, Seina went straight up to his back. Shohei then returned to chase after Yuriko while holding Seina.

Yuriko ran towards the elevator, Kei came from the right and pulled her shoulder. The girl instead floated an impromptu kick into Kei's stomach that sent him flung a meter away. After kicking, Yuriko got into the elevator.

"Gomen, Kei-san," Yuriko said guiltily.

Rai ran as hard as he could to catch up with Yuriko. Unfortunately, when only three steps remained, the elevator had closed itself and submerged Yuriko's body in there.

Rai tried to open the elevator door with both hands. He banged as hard as he could while continuing to shout at Yuriko's name. The veins around his temple sprung up, signifying how tense he was.

"Ryo-chan, please chase Yuriko down the emergency stairs! It looks like he's headed for the rooftop" Kei ordered while looking at the direction of the girl's floor's destination.

Inside the elevator, Yuriko stared at the time marker in the bomb which showed no less than a minute. His eyes closed as tears slid down from the corner of his eyes.

"For all of you, thank you for accepting me. I really never imagined being among great people like you, and doing acts of justice," Yuriko said in a hoarse voice, "for Ryo-san, gomen ne, for me, I've always treated you like a friend of my age. We are four years old. For Kei-san, arigatou has taught me a lot of good public speaking" Yuriko said as she began to shed tears of sadness.

Hearing Yuriko's voice, Rai who was banging on the elevator door immediately fell silent. Shohei, who was still searching for the girl, stopped stepping while lowering Seina from her back. Kei who was behind Rai, was sitting limp for a moment. And Ryo who was climbing the emergency stairs, suddenly pecked.

"For Shohei-san ...." Yuriko laughed for a while, then said, "you were the first man that interested me and fell in love. Hopefully, I said confidently that one day you would turn around and see me waiting behind you. But I was conscious enough to slap myself to realize immediately that I can only admire you without my possession. The four men suddenly became silent. Tears began to tear from the corner of their eyes. All of them were crying. All are helpless. Shohei looked at his watch and could only close his eyes deeply. How could they save Yuriko with this kind of mepet time?

Time moved towards the last three seconds and began to count down. The woman no longer spoke, accepting her fate.

"Yuriichooo!" Rai's roaring roar filled the entire room.

Ryo immediately sat down on the stairs while drowning his face between the knees. Shohei walked away a few steps with a careless look. On the fourth step, the man knelt down while squeezing his chest which felt heavy. He managed to save the Seina he loved. But it doesn't save Yuriko who loves her.

Rai pecked his forehead many times at the elevator door with ten tightly clenched fingers. His shoulders seemed to shake in awe as tears seeped out of his crackers. To stand up straight just unable to, his body was limp and in the end he fell to his knees in front of the elevator door. Crushed. Crumbed. Broken.

"For a minute, let me love you, Yu-chan! Just for a little while, give your time to me, I can definitely overcome your fears!" rai shouted with tears pouring out.

Kei came closer, trying to hold Rai who was letting out all his rage while continuing to roar. However, Rai was reluctant to be touched and chose to rebel.

"Calm down, Rai! Relax!"

"I love him, even without having the time to voice my feelings," he said in a low-sounding tone. He never felt this pain because of a woman.

"Have any of you heard the sound of explosions?" Shohei's voice suddenly sounded.

It made Rai, Kei, and Ryo wake up instantly. None of them heard the sound of explosions. They looked around and looked fine.

"If the bomb really explodes, then at least part of this building will be destroyed" Shohei continued calmly.

"What is possible ...." Rai looked back at the elevator.

"I'm still alive." Yuriko's weak voice sounded suddenly.

"really? Is this really you, Yu-chan?" ask Rai in disbelief.

"It's not his spirit, is it?" Ryo asked after his eyes filled with tears.

The girl stared at the time marker of the bomb that suddenly stopped in the last second. "Why, the bomb stopped suddenly. I'm sorry to worry you guys" he said again.

Suddenly, Rai immediately hugged Kei from behind tightly until the man's neck was almost suffocated.

A tall, strapping man stood gallantly at the end of the rooftoop of the plaza building. The man was in the same uniform as the eastern research force formed by Kazuya Toda. In his left hand, there was a bomb remote control. He reached into his pants pocket, took an earpiece and put it into his ear.

"Chairman, I'm sorry I'm almost too late to stop the bomb" the man said.

Shohei immediately breathed a sigh of relief as he said, "Arigatou .. You have saved Yuriko, Ai-kun!"
