Never Not
Ch. 137: Last Key Witness

Rai, Yuriko, Ryo, and Kei, who are on their way to escape, are informed by Shohei that Ai was shot and that a fake Black Shadow figure has been revealed.

"How's Ai doing right now?" rai asked with concern. The phone connection was deliberately using a loudspeaker mode so that Kei, Yuriko and Ryo also heard directly what Shohei said.

"He is critical and is undergoing surgery" Shohei replied weakly and almost inaudibly.

"Then ... do you know the figure who became the fake Black Shadow?" rai asked impatiently, followed by Yuriko, Ryo and Kei who were also waiting for that answer.

Quiet for a moment just to take a breath, Shohei stared wistfully at the fall of Seto who had been surrounded by police lines. "Hum ... he .. police detective, from the team of the first investigator division," he said with a breath felt tight.

Rai's face changed instantly. "Don't ... mean your own people?"

"He's even the young policeman closest to me" the bespectacled man said in a bitter voice, "he chose to end his life ...."

Rai and the others could only go back to swallowing anger. After for the umpteenth time Kazuya Toda had the upper hand.

"Once again we lose!" ringis Kei hits the steering wheel.

"How about this, we again lose a key witness after the death of the justice minister!" lament Rai was full of despair.

"We still have one last key witness!" sahut Shohei suddenly.

Rai and the others were jolted by Shohei's statement.

Who's that?" ask Yuriko.

"Head of the national police, General Otaka."

"General Otaka? You mean ... Ai's father?" asked Kei who had also just realized.

"Yes, general Otaka is our last hope" Shohei replied with a tired-looking face. The biggest reason for Ai joining was so that the man could persuade his father not to work with Kazuya Toda again. Given, the track record so far general Otaka is very good in the police force. It's a pity that he should slip up with Kazuya Toda, isn't it?

On the other hand, general Otaka has learned about the shooting incident that his only son experienced. With a strict escort, he went to the Hospital. Even so, the incident of Ai's shooting and Seto's death were deliberately covered from the media and the public in order to maintain the good name of the police. Also, to prevent public guesses and prejudices.

General Otaka stared at the door of the operating room where his son struggled to live and die. Along with that, Megumi Jun and her guards came to visit to find out about Ai's condition. Naturally, Ai is a member of the metropolitan police force under the leadership of the man with the title of law professor.

"Megumi-san, have you returned to the Metropolitan?" general Otaka asked quite surprised.

"I'll actually be back in office on Monday. But, hearing of an incident involving two metropolitan police, made me a little impervious to being on duty immediately." Jun then turned to the operating room door and said, "about your son .. I met him when he was just appointed to the police. At that time, I asked him, what kind of cop do you want to be? And she answered him steadily, she wants to be a good cop like you, her father."

General Otaka's face blackened instantly. Reflexively, what Ai had said recently, was re-spinning in her brain.

"Remember, Otto is a lawman! The purpose of entering the police force should be to eradicate crime, not to commit criminal acts and unlawful acts!"

Now, he understood Ai's feelings. Why would his son be so angry at him. Because, his son always made himself an example of a good police figure. However, what he has done lately is completely contrary to the assumption of his son and not exemplary.

At the same time, Kazuya Toda held a press conference regarding the uproar that occurred in one of Shibuya's largest plazas this afternoon. To the media, he said the public panic in the place was the act of Black Shadow who deliberately frightened people with the issue of detonation of bombs. He also released a statement that Black Shadow is not a figure, but a radical group.

"Black Shadow is not a hero. Black Shadow is made up of some extreme people who use all means to achieve their goals. They only draw sympathetic public by acting vigilantly on politicians and officials who commit criminal acts. In fact, their true goal is to terrorize the city of Tokyo and all of us! Yes, Black Shadow is a terrorist group that must be eradicated" Kazuya Toda told reporters. He showed evidence of a photo of Ryo, Yuriko and Kei wearing Black Shadow masks, where it was all taken two hours ago in the plaza.

Kazuya Toda also deliberately dismantled the fake bomb terror acts that occurred almost a week ago throughout the headquarters of the police and intelligence Tokyo. Then say it's part of the Black Shadow group.

"I don't understand why he even dismantled the police incident to be deceived by false terror. Wouldn't that tarnish the name of the police force itself?" Inspector Heiji, who was standing in front of the television, responded to the press conference that had just finished airing.

"What about Tanaka-san's death? Chief investigator Yamazaki-san said Tanaka shot Otaka. But, how could Tanaka do that. Tanaka was the only person close to Otaka" one of the police said.

"We know very well Tanaka is very persistent. I think Tanaka wanted to shoot one of the Black Shadow members. But it hit Otaka instead. And because he regretted accidentally shooting his own best friend, he decided to kill himself, "other police suspect.

"We don't know the truth yet. We better pray for Otaka's safety, because only he can explain all this" detective Shu added.

After traveling for almost three hours, Rai and the others finally arrived at a villa that turned out to belong to Kei. The small villa, away from the urban hustle and bustle, sits atop a mountain that offers views of the Pine forest and spring flowers.

"Gomen, there are only two rooms here. So, we better share a room, "kei said as soon as he entered the villa.

"Alright then we sleep three in one room and let Yuriko sleep alone," added Rai who since in the car seemed to avoid looking directly at Yuriko.

"Ah, no! No!" Ryo blocks Rai from entering the main room Kei had entered, "Did Oniichan not see, the room is narrow and has only two futons?"

"It's okay. I will share the futon with you" Rai said as he stepped into the room. However, it was again intercepted by his own sister.

"No! Nah! Should Oniichan sleep with Yuri-chan!" ryo said while holding Rai's body, then looked back, "right, right, Kei-san?"

Kei walked out of his room and said. "Really! You'd better sleep in Yuriko's room because this room doesn't fit you."

Rai's eyes opened wide followed by her raised lips. "Do you think my body is so wide that it doesn't fit three people?"

"Yuriko-chan!" Ryo immediately called Yuriko, "didn't you and Oniichan previously live together? Doesn't matter if you're one room?"

Yuriko was speechless as she gave a small glance towards Rai. "I don't think it'll be a problem if he sleeps outside the room" he said in a stiff tone.

Kei immediately bercerocos, "You don't know yet, yes, the mosquitoes here are big! If Rai doesn't want to sleep in the next room, how about I just share the room with you?"

"Can't!" rai's quick, "alright! I'll share a room with Yu-chan!"

Kei and Ryo compactly smiled then walked into the room together while closing the door like a newlywed couple, leaving Rai and Yuriko who were sculpting fools.

When looking at each other, the two suddenly become misbehaved. They even make strange movements. Rai was busy stroking the back of her neck, while Yuriko kept massaging her nostrils until they turned red. A second later, their focus was diverted when they heard Kei and Ryo's gossip from inside the room.

"Did Kei-san hear it when yuriko-chan said at length that she was actually afraid of falling in love with Oniichan? He's like a guy with a poem!" Ryo giggles as he recalls the dramatic events of the past few hours between Rai and Yuriko.

"of course. I even remembered their love statement in times of distress" Kei chuckled.

"me too. They're too dramatic, aren't they?" Ryo's laughter grew bigger, even to the point of coughing.

"Otherwise your sister. She cries on my shoulder and says, just let me love you, Yu-chan, for a moment" Kei mocked while mimicking Rai's style of speech at the time.

Hearing Kei and Ryo gossiping about them, Rai and Yuriko's faces suddenly turned crimson.

author note:

I want to explain a little, maybe there are still many of you who do not know, why the Japanese way of calling his name is different. For example, Shohei Yamazaki, commonly called Shohei, is called Yamazaki. Seto Tanaka, sometimes called Seto sometimes called Tanaka, Ai Otaka sometimes called Ai sometimes called Otaka, etc. It can also be written by Yamazaki Shohei, sometimes Shohei Yamazaki.

So gini, Japan is famous for its politeness and adabnya that they uphold. There are formal and informal languages. Their names consist of only two types, surnames and small names. Kayak Shohei, surname/surname of Yamazaki. So if for people who are first acquainted, not familiar, not close, and in a formal environment, it is not polite to call the name Shohei, must call the family name (Yamazaki). Small name calling (Shohei) is only for the closest people who already know him. Because of the sacredness of a small name, those who are familiar usually must first permission. You can use that name, right? Like Mayu who needs time to be allowed to call Chiba's first name, after previously calling Yamada.

even in their doramas there are always moments of lovers calling each other first names for the first time. And that they consider very special.

Then, why sometimes the cave nulis Yamazaki Shohei, sometimes also the narrator Shohei Yamazaki in the story. It depends on the icon and the description of the novel itself. It also depends who calls him. If the icon is in a formal state, the author is Yamazaki Shohei, if the icon is non-formal so Shohei Yamazaki. Rai rarely writes caves so Matsui Rai, because the sikon Rai is always told in nonformal.

Ribet, huh? That's their special feature. Not to mention the honorifics like -kun, -chan, -san, - the same who was behind the name. That's not just called it either. But this one I explained in the DF novel. And I think you guys know, this isn't my first novel in Japan.

If you think of the death of Seto and has not been revealed the contents of the flash deliberately contrived to stall or extend the groove. You're wrong! Because all of this is already arranged according to the initial framework. It's just that because the update is slow so the storyline also feels slow. If you've read all my novels you know, everything that becomes a mystery will be revealed at the right time. As the relationship between Seina and Rai unfolds, maybe you never thought it would be like that Shohei knew about it. And other mysteries too. Everything will be clear.

Eh, buset, write the author's notes only the length is almost the same as the endless neighbor's talk. wkwkwk already, do not forget the thumbs and comments. and as usual, and as usual, the, if you want to give points to a sin novel
