Keiko walked towards her room with long steps. He wanted to get there and rest. However, as he turned from the end of the hallway, he saw Andrew still standing in front of the room door. The man stood up just like his previous position when he left with Hiro.

“You ... why haven't you slept?” asked Keiko as she approached her lover.

Andrew stared fixedly at Keiko before replying, “How are things going? Is the wound severe enough?”

The girl shook her head slowly, “No,” she replied.

“But Mr. Roux, hitting the person who has helped us, it is very uncivilized, let alone he is injured,” continued the girl again while crossing her arms.

Andrew snorted softly and threw his face away.

“Who told him to provoke me,” his grunts slowly.

Suddenly Keiko's face became serious. He pulled Andrew's hand into the room, then closed the door and walked towards the center of the room.

From the direction of the gunfire, several people appeared with outstretched hands, holding long and semi-automatic guns in various variations. They stared straight at the corner where Andrew and Hiro were hiding, then stepped forward one by one.

Andrew quickly took out an aluminum circle from the metal case, threw it at his attackers, then broke down and took aim from below.

“Shielded!” he yelled at Keiko before pulling the trigger.

A loud explosion threw the bodies of the men down back to the first floor. A huge hole gaped out in front of it, leaving the smell of ammunition pouring out in the air.

“Come, quick!” Hiro got up and ran back down the hall. He stopped in front of a black door at the end and placed his thumb on a panel on the side of the door. Shortly after, the door shifted and opened wide.

“Down and run to the right. There—“

Andrew pulled Hiro's hand and said, “Close with us.”

“But I—“

“Shut! We don't have much time. Hurry.” Keiko also blocks Hiro's wrist and drags him through the door.

The three of them ran down the emergency stairs, treading on the ground carefully and ducking behind the bushes. From inside the room, there was clearly the sound of fighting and gunfire.

Adrenaline makes Keiko's heart pump blood faster, her fatigue forgotten. Now the girl is busy focusing on finding a way out of the place.

“They have not circled this area. Come on, before the people had told their colleagues which way we were running,” Hiro said as he scouted the situation vigilantly. He let out a long sigh, hoping that the pain in his waist could be slightly reduced, then began to walk quickly with a fixed position down.

Keiko and Andrew followed carefully. They went through the backyard to find a small fence between the vines.

“Lewat here,” said Hiro. He opened the gate and slipped behind it quickly.

Andrew let Keiko pass first, then he followed behind him. The three men ran away, down the path towards the towering trees.

In the darkness of the night, the trees looked like creepy giants. Keiko brushed off her fear and continued running. There's Andrew and Hiro by his side, everything's gonna be fine, isn't it?
