The subtle shock woke Keiko from her sleep. The girl squirmed and shifted to the side of the window, pressing the button until the closing panel opened. The flickering lights out there pulled back half of his soul that was still hovering in the air.
The last thing he remembered was running away from Andrew and laying on the bed. He had not even had time to take a bath, immediately falling asleep just like that when his head hit the pillow. Now he's a little panicked. Have they arrived in Paris? How long was he asleep?
Keiko got up from the bed in a slight hurry and headed straight for the small room beside the bed. He took a quick shower, then came back out with his body wrapped in a towel. Just about to open the nightstand drawer on the side of the bed, there was a knock from the door of his room.
“Baby, you don't want to go out to look around?” ask Andrew.
“Wait a minute!” exclaiming Keiko.
The girl rushed to find a change of clothes in the nightstand. A faint smile rang on his lips when he saw the pile of clothes inside there, just as he had expected. He believed Andrew had prepared all his needs on the plane, and that proved to be true. There are even two pairs of flat shoes and one casual sandal. Keiko's heart suddenly felt warm and sweet.
After changing into a plain white blouse and dark blue jeans, Keiko tidied up her hair and made ponytails. He pulled the slippers from his drawer and put them on. All sizes fit well, nothing is too big or too small, including her underwear. For one, Keiko really did not know to praise Andrew's ability to guess correctly, or hit the man's head for thinking about buying him underwear.
“Baby ...”
“Ya, come soon!”
Keiko jumped three steps and unlocked. He grabbed the doorknob pulling it open.
“What's up, honey? We have arrived?” ask her with eyes full of enthusiasm.
The big smile on the girl's face looked very dazzling, making Andrew involuntarily come to review the thin smile.
“No. We are stopping in Turkey to refuel,” Andrew replied as he pulled Keiko's hand and took her to the main hall, “Is there any food you want to taste or certain items you want to buy?”
“Oh ...” Keiko muttered softly. To be honest, he didn't want to buy anything anymore. The food on board the plane is very varied and everything is quite in line with his taste. Regarding the goods, he also did not want it. What you've been given is more than enough.
After thinking for a moment, Keiko added, “Do not want anything. I came out thinking we'd reached Paris.”
The girl then peeked again at the window on her left side. In the darkness, other than flickering lights in the distance and tall buildings looming, the situation out there was not very clear. There were no other planes around, making Keiko frown slightly in confusion.
“This is one of Phoenix.Co's aviation facilities, if you want to know,” explained Andrew as if he understood what Keiko's mind was.
“You ... how can I always know what I'm thinking?” Keiko put a serious expression on her face and ruffled her waist before adding, “That's a little creepy. Did you put a chip in my head while I was sleeping?”
Andrew chuckled until his shoulders shook.
“Your brain hit during a fight earlier? I'll ask the doctor to check it out,” Andrew said after his laughter was replaced with a wide grin that looked very silly.
“No. I'm fine, just a little scared of you Mr. Roux. Looks like I should start wearing a steel hat so you can't read the contents of my head,” said Keiko, not removing any serious mimicry on her face at all.
“Sick!” Keiko brushed off Andrew's hand and rubbed his cheek while pouting.
“Do not get angry ... who told you very cute and adorable ...” Andrew clasped Keiko's waist and put on a fur coat that he had prepared. “How about I take you somewhere?”
“Thank you.” Keiko tightened her coat in front of her chest. It feels soft and warm. Very comfortable to wear.
“Where are we going?” he asked again, his face filled with curiosity.
“Later you will find out,” replied Andrew with a secret smile. He gestured with his head for Keiko to follow him to the exit.
After getting off the plane, Keiko realized that the area was quite large. There was another jet parked a little further back. High concrete buildings loomed around the land almost from all sides. His jaw was almost wide open looking at all the most advanced forms of all the technology he had ever seen being worn by the people passing around him. The men occasionally stopped doing their activities just to say hello or salute Andrew.
While Andrew himself just responded to it all casually. He led Keiko and walked west, towards one of the tallest buildings there. The heavily armed guards saluted as Andrew passed by, leaving Keiko to not doubt his lover's remark that the place was one of the facilities belonging to his family's company. Keiko glanced silently. How rich was the man beside him?
Keiko suddenly recalled the moment Andrew said goodbye to her on the island. What did the man say at the time? All his property has been given to him, he just needs a signature. Don't belong to this place?
No. gabe. Not likely.
Keiko shook her head slowly, then glanced back at Andrew. The man couldn't possibly be serious about his words back then.
“Stop thinking no-no,” Andrew said when he realized his lover's complicated gaze was reflected through the glass beside the elevator.
Keiko simply cleared her throat and straightened her head, staring with interest at the shape of the elevator that looked different from any elevator she had ever climbed.
After scanning his retina on the panel on the wall, Andrew invited Keiko to enter first. He followed behind the girl, then picked out the hologram number floating before him.
Keiko's forehead crinkled deeply when she saw Andrew touch the number 45, the last number to appear in the selection. It looks like it's the top floor. What are they going there for?
Keiko's body jerked forward as the elevator shot upwards at maximum speed. Fortunately Andrew held his waist up swiftly, then clasped his hands tightly. The man did not appear to be affected by the movement of the elevator, seeming to have gotten used to using it.
“Technology like this, where do you get it?” keiko asked curiously.
“My father is recruiting the best people from all over the world,” Andrew replied with a faint smile, “What you see here is nothing compared to the main office in Paris.”
“That sounds cool as well as scary,” Keiko said with a stiff smile and a tense body.
Suddenly a thought flashed through his head. If one day he marries Andrew and becomes Mrs.Roux, is he worth all the predicate that man holds? He really felt inferior and unworthy. It made her even more nervous so that her palms became wet.
