Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Be an idiot

“I will be in charge, Sir,” Hansel said. “I want to marry princess—“

“Shut!” The Marquess roared and pulled Hansel's collar, then slammed him to the floor.

“How dare you!” he shouted again as he waved a kick into Hansel's shoulder.

“Papa! He's innocent!” cecille exclaimed while kneeling before Hansel who was grimacing in pain. “It's my fault! Papa just hit me, okay! She's innocent.”

The entire body of the Marquess trembled violently with anger. He pointed his index finger at Hansel while exclaiming, “I think you're a man of dignity! But apparently—“

“Papa, not like that. Really am. He helped me,” interrupted Cecille as he hugged his father's leg. His round and clear eyes began to turn red and watery. His voice sounded a little stingy as he pleaded with his father, “This is not his fault, Papa .. Even if he does not want to take responsibility, we cannot sue him because this is all my fault ..”.

The Marquess was so angry that for the first time in her life, she raised her hand and was about to slap her daughter.

“Antonio!” exclaimed Maria who had just recovered from her shock. All the events before him happened very quickly. His brain had not even finished processing all the information that came along with it.

A long silence floated in the air as the Marquess' hand did not hit her daughter's face. The protruding veins on his temple twitched as it held back emotions. He glared at Hansel who was tightly blocking his wrist. The check did not loosen even though he had exerted all his strength to release it.

“Do not hit a pregnant woman, Sir. The baby will be surprised,” said Hansel while releasing the Marquess' wrist. He then lowered his head and helped Cecille to wake up.

“I told you I could handle it,” said the man as he wheeled Cecille towards the seat. “Sit quietly, if anything happens to my baby, I will not forgive you.”

Cecille had not responded, Hansel had turned to the Marquess who was still in place and said, “Master, You can beat me as you please, but do not touch it. She and the baby in her stomach are my limits. When you cross my boundaries, don't blame me for not looking at who you are.”

Antonio was even more astonished to see the young man before him dare to challenge him so blatantly.

“Who are you?! Goddamnit! She's my daughter! I have the right to do anything to him!” antonio shouted furiously.

“Not anymore, because she is now my future wife.”

Such an arrogant and arrogant sentence left the Marquess at a loss for words. The old man could only point at Hansel's chest while stuttering.

“You ... you ... sassy basis!”

Antonio clenched his hands and exclaimed loudly, “Service! Get me my wand! ”

“Honey!” maria who has not known what to do. “Do not be too hard, let's talk carefully,” persuaded him while holding the end of the sleeve of her husband's shirt.

“What's good?” Antonio snorted like a wounded bull. “This reliability impregnates my daughter, of course I have to teach her a lesson!”

“Papa!” Cecille got up from her seat, but one glare from Hansel stopped her movement. He subconsciously touched his stomach and sat back down obediently.

Shortly afterwards, a servant approached Antonio and handed him an object he called “tand”, but it looked more like a wooden whip made of rattan. Hansel sighed and knelt down, preparing to accept his punishment.

“You dare to bring disgrace to my family?” the Marquess.

“The child is not a disgrace. She is a gift.”

Cat!

Hansel's body jerked forward as the rattan blade struck his back from behind. A sense of heat and pain spread like a snake from hell that was tightly wrapped around his body. He gritted his teeth to endure the agonizing pain.

Meanwhile, on top of the sofa, Cecille covered her mouth with her hands to dampen the sobs of restrained sobs. This was all his fault, and Hansel bore it all for him. All because of his stupidity and stubbornness ....

“I take care and look after it wholeheartedly, you just broke it?!”

Cat!

Cat!

The shirt on Hansel's back was torn, featuring three red stripes that crossed his skin surface. One red line looks bruised and there is a tear along one inch. A bright red liquid seeped out from the torn wound, wetting his white shirt. The contrasting colors look so striking, Cecille doesn't even dare to imagine as sick as it feels.

“Antonio, stop! You'll make it die!” maria cried as she pulled the hand of her husband who had been raised again. “If she dies, your daughter will be a widow before marriage. You want it like that?”

That shout powerfully stopped the Marquess' movement. The old man threw the rattan in his hand on the floor and kicked Hansel's back so that the young man fell down.

“Go from my house!” his orders with a thunderous voice.

Hansel rested his body with both hands and went back to his knees.

“I won't leave before you approve our wedding,” she replied calmly.

His calmness was a little unnatural, also a little frightening. The Marquess felt intimidated. He could confirm if others who were beaten like that must have screamed and asked for mercy, but the young man before him could even still act very calm and authoritative? Antonio frowned because of his own thinking. Hansel Roux did have a different aura and made him feel quite depressed.

Cecille woke up timidly and knelt down by Hansel's side. He ignored the warning gaze of the man beside him and pleaded, “Papa, he is very kind to me .. allow us to get married, yes? This baby ...he's your first grandchild, please don't be too cruel to his father ...”

Antonio glared at his daughter, but Maria pulled his hand and persuaded him not to be too harsh on their daughter and future daughter-in-law.

Everything that happened didn't go unnoticed by Hansel. He quietly grabbed Cecille's fingers and clasped them tightly. He has never been protected in his entire life by anyone. Being defended like this made his heart feel warm. Moreover, Cecille pleaded like that .. said that he was the father of the baby.

Slowly the corner of Hansel's lips pulled upwards. It felt like he could still withstand ten more lashes if it could make Cecille be nice to him.

Cecille who happened to be looking at Hansel was a little stunned to see the man looking at him while grinning like a fool.

He pinched the man's palm loudly and whispered, “Why smile like an idiot! Papa is still angry!”

“You made me an idiot,” retorted Hansel slowly. “Let him be angry.”

That way you'll care more about me ....
