Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Give me a chance

The small interaction between the two men was interrupted when the sound of Andrew's cell phone ringing echoed in the room. The man took the phone in his pants pocket, then read the incoming message. His facial expression was calm and flat as usual, making Keiko unable to guess what news she had just received.

“Is there anything?” keiko asked, encouraged by the curiosity she couldn't hold back.

Andrew smiled at a glance and replied, “Nothing urgent, don't worry.”

“OK ...”

Keiko dusted her bread and sipped the warm milk in a glass slowly.

“You didn't have breakfast?” he asked when he realized that only he himself had enjoyed bread and milk.

Andrew smiled softly at the question. A little attention from Keiko could already make her this happy. It felt like he was able to conquer the whole world for the sake of that girl.

“I ate earlier, sorry not to wait for you to have to take care of some things,” Andrew replied with a voice intonation that he never used against others.

“It's okay, I understand,” reply Keiko while getting up from the chair. He brought dirty dishes and glasses, turned to Andrew and asked again, “Where is the kitchen.”

“Straight, third door on the right,” Andrew said pointing to the long hallway connected to the living room.

“OK. Thank you.”

Keiko walked past Andrew and headed for the kitchen. He washed the dishes and glasses quickly and then returned to the front. Andrew was already standing by the exit, waiting patiently for him.

“Come,” said the man while pointing to the left side of the wooden house, “That place is the highest, we can see all parts of the island from there.”

Seeing Andrew's enthusiasm made Keiko excited. He nodded and stepped behind the man. They stepped together through a slightly uphill path. Sometimes Andrew looked back to make sure that Keiko had no trouble, or paused for a moment when the distance between them was too far.

Not until 15 minutes later, they had reached the top of the hill referred to by Andrew. The plains are indeed quite wide with a stretch of grassland that is not too high.

The view from up there is beautiful. The golden yellow light from the sun that is not too high can be seen in contrast to the background of blue sky and silvery sea level. While under there white sand spread along the bay.

The seagulls squealed and hovered in the sky. Some swooped sharply, snatching into the water, then re-soaring high with the big fish in their beaks.

Although shivering due to the air that was still quite cold, Keiko's face was as cold as seeing the scene. At least the burden of his thoughts and worries for these few days can be sidetracked for a moment.

“You like?” andrew asked as he looked at the girl before him looking in all directions with a face that looked quite happy.

“Hum, like,” Keiko replied with a smile and nodded, “Thank you.”

Tokyo is a big city filled with high-rise buildings and cutting-edge technology that feels monotonous and boring. While here ... this place is really far from the modern word, far from civilization. Fresh air and a completely natural environment make all fatigue suddenly disappear.

Her father and Hiro had never taken her to places like this. They always attend events held in skyscraper buildings or five-star restaurants filled with armed guards. When compared to the peace she felt at the moment, Keiko was truly grateful to Andrew for giving her the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

The girl circulated her gaze and realized this place they had come to was a small island whose location she did not know. Maybe this island is not even listed on the map because it is really only a single mound of hills.

He turned to Andrew and asked, “Where did you know this place?”

“A friend recommended it to me,” replied Andrew. The smile did not disappear from his face because he witnessed Keiko's joy. In his heart he reminded himself to compensate Garry for finding the island and helping him buy it.

“Cannot be said so ... he knows a friend of the owner of this island, so—“

Keiko slumped and exclaimed, “Island?”

“Ya.”

“You bought this island? Not just his house?” keiko asked with narrowed eyes, wanting to ascertain the conjecture in her mind that seemed a little unreasonable.

“....”

Andrew is speechless, and Keiko is stunned by Andrew's surprise to buy the entire island where they are hiding. The girl looked at Andrew with a probing look. How could that man have bought the island in such a short time? His father and the Kobayashi Family were one of the wealthiest clans in Tokyo City, but no one had ever bought an island like they were buying snacks.

“Why did you enter the state intelligence agency?” asked Keiko again after recovering from her shock.

“Huh?” Andrew looked at Keiko with a slightly wrinkled forehead.

He thought the girl would lecture him about waste and so on, instead of getting questions that had nothing to do with their previous discussion.

“With your wealth, you should be able to be a selfish and arrogant Young Master, doing whatever you want, sitting down and governing at will. Why bother being a subordinate in an international spy organization like this?”

Andrew chuckled softly at the words of the girl before him who was still looking at him with a serious expression and demanding an answer.

“If I said ... it was to make it easier for me to find you, would you believe it?” andrew asked back.

Keiko was stunned, not knowing what to answer. However, again a sweet warm taste drained his veins, bringing with it intoxicating endorphins. A red hue flashed across his face quickly, making his cheeks look like a blossoming sakura.

The girl bit her lips and swore in her heart. Why should I be ashamed of just that little question? Just answer yes or no.

“You're seducing me?” keiko asked as she chuckled softly to cover up her embarrassment. He raised his hand and slipped the wind-blown hairdo behind his ear.

Andrew smiled faintly. A soft and sexy laugh escaped her lips. He then shook his head slowly while answering, “I don't have to seduce you. You will fall in love with me.”

Keiko sneered and glared at the man in front of her. “Confidence once,” grunts slowly.

Andrew's laughter grew louder, laughter loosened and reached the bottom of the heart. The echoes of laughter collided with the roar of the waves that broke the reef. For some reason Andrew's laughter was contagious and Keiko made a smile. The man actually looked handsome when not wearing a flat face and using a firm tone of voice.

Suddenly Andrew cleared his throat and looked at Keiko with a glare full of earnestness. He then said, “Sakamoto Keiko, give me a chance, will you? I promise I won't let you down. Okay?”

Keiko's stunned. This is not the first time Andrew has spoken romantic words to her. But this time it feels different. The man seemed to mean it.

Seeing Keiko just speechless makes Andrew's confidence suddenly evaporate out of nowhere. Living for 30 years, he has never expressed his feelings openly to anyone. This time, he had been struggling to gather courage since .. I don't know, maybe when they first met at the Furukawa museum.

For as long as he doubts. I don't want to push that girl too much. However, Keiko's words that she would leave after all this mess was over made Andrew make up his mind. He will pursue Sakamoto Keiko's love. No matter what will happen, he must get the girl.
