Right in early spring, the wedding reception between Hansel and Cecille was held at the residence of the Marquess of Alrico. Cecille who requested that the wedding ceremony and the recipe carry the theme of the garden party. Nor does he want media coverage. The party was really for the closed ones.
Her vast castle was conjured up like a flower garden in a fairy tale book, where fairies used to fly among the flowers and enjoy the sunshine. Flower buds in the newly blooming garden become natural decorations that emit a fragrant aroma everywhere. One hundred-year-old wisteria tree in the side yard was in bloom, dangling down until it almost touched the ground.
The magnificent building was decorated since the entrance gate. Rows of bouquets of flowers and beautiful ribbons adorn towering pillars. The tables are neatly arranged with various decorations and sets of cutlery on it, each surrounded by various chairs that look very elegant. Various types of snacks and drinks are available at long tables in every corner of the room. The servants went back and forth to make sure nothing was missed.
At four o'clock in the afternoon, guests arrived. The cars are parked in the outermost courtyard. There were five hundred invitations shared by the Marquess for the families of the Earls and Viscounts. Not much because Cecilla only asked the close people who came. As for Hansel himself, he had no acquaintances other than business associates from Injan Entertainment.
In the front room of the castle overlooking the garden, Cecille sat in front of the glass. A MUA was giving a final touch to her makeup. The bright afternoon sun on the windowpanes reflected the rainbow light in front of his face. Two girls who served as bridesmaids sitting not far from him seemed ready.
Cecille turned a glance when he heard the sound of the door opening. A servant stepped in and delivered a message from his father.
“Nona, guests have arrived. The priest has arrived too. You are expected to exit ten minutes more.”
“Before it is finished,” replied the MUA.
“Oke, I will convey to the Big Lord.” The servant came out of the room and went back to where the master and his wife were waiting.
Suddenly Cecille was nervous. He is afraid of making a small mistake when saying a wedding promise, or an incident that will damage his wedding. It wasn't easy to convince her father that Hansel was a decent man and worthy to accompany her for the rest of her life. This once-in-a-lifetime wedding, don't let it not go according to plan.
“It's done, Miss.”
The MUA's words made Cecille reflexively turn to the mirror. He looked satisfied at the reflection of his natural-looking shadow.
“Thank you,” he said to the silver-haired woman who had dressed him so beautifully.
“Sama-sama, Miss. Happy new life, may you be happy forever.”
Cecille smiled widely. He really hoped that prayer would be answered. His attendant immediately approached when he saw him rise to his feet. One of them handed Cecille a bouquet of hand flowers, then nodded politely.
The two servants immediately opened the door for Cecille. The woman walked out and stepped on the red carpet that stretched out in front of the door to the far east wing of the castle, where the wedding ceremony would be held.
“My daughter is so beautiful,” said Antonio with teary eyes. He was already about to cry if Mary did not pinch his arm repeatedly to remind him.
“Papa, Mom ...” Cecille approached and stood between his parents.
Antonio took his daughter's hand and started walking towards the end of the altar. Along the way Cecille could feel all eyes glaring at him with a look of admiration, awe and a hum of praise vaguely heard by his ears, making him even more nervous.
However, before long the attention of the people was distracted when they heard the roar of the horse legs approaching from the west side. Cecille turned to the source of the voice and looked up at her future husband who looked like a prince sitting on a white horse. Behind him, the two groomsmen riding brown horses looked no less charming.
Antonio stops his steps right at the end of the altar and waits for Hansel to come to pick up his daughter.
Cecille did not avert her gaze at all as Hansel jumped down from the horse and walked towards her. Her future husband really looks very handsome.
“Get my daughter well,” Antonio's message before handing Cecille over to his future son-in-law.
“Take it easy, Sir. I will take good care of him for life,” replied Hiro. The man then knelt down and gently kissed the back of Cecille's hand.
“Come,” take him with you while holding the hand of his future wife and walking towards the altar.
He looked down and whispered, "No bugup?"
Cecille replied to him with a faint nod.
Inevitably Cecille smiled at a glance. His heart suddenly became much better.
In the front row of the bench that is devoted to the family, Andrew and Keiko who have come since witnessed everything while smiling widely, especially Keiko ... for a while the woman seemed to forget that lately she could not get close to her husband. They sit close to each other, occasionally bringing their heads closer to whisper and talk quietly.
Marco Roux, the guardian of Hansel, sat in the same row as Antonio and Maria. The two people looked familiar and greeted each other warmly, seeming to have forgotten the dispute due to the cancellation of the engagement between Andrew and Cecille some time ago. As the wedding ceremony began, the old men corrected their sitting posture and followed with serious expressions.
“Cecille is very beautiful, Hiro is lucky to get it,” muttered Keiko slowly.
“I'm luckier to get you,” Andrew replied while stealing a quick kiss on his wife's cheek.
Keiko rolled her eyeballs and pursed her lips. Her husband is completely narcissistic and does not want to lose!
He looked back to the front and watched the bride who was saying the wedding vows solemnly. It made her think of her own wedding ceremony so that a thin smile appeared on her face. He really hopes Hiro will be happy with Cecille until forever. However, a bit of sadness arises when given that his marriage is also the marriage Hiro equally not attended by both their parents. Though it was all still complete when their engagement event a few months ago.
“Funny how fate and life toyed with human fate, right?” the woman muttered unconsciously.
“Destiny does not play games, it is a cause-and-effect of good and bad karma in the past,” reply Andrew is no less slow, but Keiko can still hear it.
The woman turned to her husband and smiled again. Thas right. What we do either in the past or the present, everything must be interrelated and cause-and-effect to each other.
“So you think you're better than him so get me, do you?” goda.
Andrew straightened his posture and touched the bow tie around his neck before replying arrogantly, “Of course, in this life and beyond, only I deserve you, Baby.”
Keiko chuckled and shook her head helplessly. Even at someone else's wedding her husband was still very arrogant and shameless!
“Forget it, don't bother me anymore. I want to enjoy this sacred moment without interruption from you,” Keiko said before looking ahead and sitting gracefully.
Up ahead, Hansel is putting a ring on Cecille's ring finger. Her real face looks quite charming. At a glance Keiko could see the man's fingers trembling slightly, seemingly from nervousness. He then turned his gaze to Cecille's timid face, then went down to his stomach which still looked flat. If Cecille was pregnant as Andrew had guessed, maybe they would have given birth at a later time.
Keiko rubbed her stomach very gently. So is good ...His children will instantly have a new family when they are born into this cruel world. He really hopes that they will live well in the future.
Family ....
That one word made the smile on Keiko's face seem even wider.
