Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Go home

Hansel's car drove quietly through the streets of Paris, unlike when he took the vehicle to the hospital. Cecille who was sitting next to him stared out the window. Since leaving the hospital, the woman has been silent, and Hansel doesn't want to bother her. However, as the car passed by the familiar roads and buildings, Cecille turned to Hansel. There was a glimmer of shock and a hint of anxiety in his blue bead that still seemed puffy.

“Where are we going?” ask the woman a little suspiciously.

“To your house,” replied Hansel calmly.

That statement broke the doubt in Cecille's mind. It turned out that the man had intended to drive her home. Suddenly he panicked a little. How did his parents react to knowing this?

“Let's just drop me off at the front gate,” Cecille said later.

Hansel raised his eyebrows and glanced at the woman beside him.

“Why?” his reply.

“I ... um, I'm not ready.”

Cecille twisted the blouse nervously. He did not dare to look at Hansel. He knew maybe Hansel would misunderstand his attitude, but for now he is really not ready.

“When are you ready? When will the baby be born? You want her to be born without a clear status? Child out of wedlock ... like that?”

Hansel's voice was very slow and calm. Every word spoken sounded a little indifferent and casual, but it had pierced into the deepest part of Cecille's heart. He subconsciously raised his hand and rubbed his stomach in a protective manner. Of course he did not want his son to be an illegitimate child.

The small movement was caught by Hansel's tail. The corner of his lips lifted. He smiled gently and extended a hand to cupper Cecille's fingers still on her stomach.

Cecille's body was slightly puffed up due to the physical contact. With a slightly stiff movement, he glanced to the side and found Hansel's smiling face. The sunlight broke through from the windowpanes, hitting the side of his face from the right side. His facial features were not bad, no less handsome than Andrew Roux. Her brows were thick and beautifully curved over a pair of sharp and alluring eyes. His nose is pointed, looking harmonious with a line of sensual thin lips. As he smiled now, his charm increased many times ....

“A satisfied look at the face of your future husband?”

The magnetic sound made Cecille almost choke. He blinked quickly and turned his gaze out. While biting her lips, the woman cursed her stupidity inwardly. The red hue spread to the end of his ear.

Hansel chuckled softly. He rubbed the back of Cecille's hand gently and said, “After marriage, you can look at me all day.”

Cecille sneered and rolled her eyes. Basic narcissist! Who wants to look at it all day? Does he have no other job?

Next to her, Hansel smiled wider as Cecille did not refute her as she said the word “prospective husband”. Suddenly his heart was like it was filled with cherry blossoms that were blooming, as fierce as everywhere.

“Where can you know everything? Found me, also my home address. How do you do it?” ask Cecille who is still a little curious. How Hansel found out which hospital he was going to, as well as his home address.

“It was easy to find you,” replied Hansel while putting on a mysterious smile.

Once again Cecille sneered and rolled her eyes.

“Be such a mysterious pretentious to lure who?” his gerrick.

“Of course to lure you in,” replied Hansel while chuckling softly.

“Papa might hit you,” muttered Cecille suddenly.

“Huh?”

“Papa might beat you to the bottom,” the woman's birthday.

The smile on Hansel's face grew wider, leading Cecille to think that the man was completely insane. Where was anyone who smiled stupidly like that when told that he would be beaten up?

“Quietly, I can bear it,” Hansel said as he turned the steering wheel into the courtyard of the Marquess' residence.

The castle-like building of antiquity looked like a building abandoned by a time machine, looking graceful and elegant, aloof among the modern buildings that mushroomed around it. Hansel shut off the car engine, then got off and opened the car door for Cecille.

Cecille's palm began to sweat when he saw his father standing near the front pillar of the main door. He brushed off Hansel's hand which was coiled around his waist, but the man insisted and held his fingers there. From a distance Cecille could feel his father's gaze filled with curiosity. Although he himself is open-minded and modern, his parents are still very conventional.

“Papa,” greet Cecille when stopping in front of his father. “This is Hansel Roux, Papa has already met him while at the police station.”

“Good day, Sir,” greet Hansel while bowing politely and extending his hand towards the Marquess.

“I just wanted out to find you. You make your mama anxious, Cecille,”, Antonio said.

Cecille looked down shyly. Her father's words made her look like a seven-year-old little girl who went to play without asking for permission.

“Honey, where have you been? Disappeared since yesterday without news, making me very worried!” mary from the stairs.

“Oh, there is a guest,” the woman continued when she saw Hansel walking in with his daughter. He rushed down and approached them downstairs.

“Darling, do you remember that young man who saved Cecille the other day? Here it is, Hansel Roux,” Antonio told his wife.

Maria who had reached the ground floor immediately approached her daughter and Hansel who was standing next to her husband.

“It's great, because it's come .. let's have lunch together,”Take Maria with great excitement.

“Mama ...” Cecille held his mother's arm. “Someone wants me and Hansel to talk about.”

Seeing the serious expression mixed with anxiety on his daughter's face made Antonio and Maria realize there was something serious their daughter wanted to discuss. The Marquess gestured for Cecille and Hansel to follow her into the living room.

After they all sat facing each other, the man opened his voice, “What's the matter?”

Cecille glanced at Hansel at a glance, then looked back at his father. Suddenly his tongue was a mute, his mouth would not open even though the sentence he set was already hovering inside the head.

“What's up, Honey?” ask Maria who is starting to feel anxious. His heart signaled that something was amiss between his daughter and the young man surnamed Roux.

Seeing Cecille who was just twisting his fingers restlessly and not daring to look at his parents, Hansel finally cleared his throat and intended to represent him and tell his parents.

“Mr, Nyonya—“

“Mama, I'm pregnant.” Cecille looked up and looked at his parents, then hurriedly lowered his head again.

“What did you say?” Antonio dumbfounded.

Mary was as surprised as her husband. He looked at his daughter and Hansel took turns with an expression of disbelief.

Getting pregnant?

Impregnated by that young man?

Didn't the two of them not know each other for too long?

How could?
