Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Kinara Lee's?

Andrew woke up with a slightly fussy head due to jetlag. Ten hours of flight was quite draining. Moreover, he has not had enough rest in Moscow.

After stretching, Andrew got up and headed to the bathroom to clean himself up. He took a shower and changed clothes quickly and walked to the door. The room was quite spacious with one large closet that was between two queen-size beds.

“Where to?” murmured Clark with half-circumcised eyes. The young man was still rolling on his bed. The influence of alcohol he drank last night made it look like he had just plunged free from space.

“Feeding,” replied Andrew briefly before closing the door leaf.

Clark glanced at the fleeting dindin clock and clucked lazily. There are still three hours to sleep. He really needs sleep. After this maybe he will not be able to enjoy his sleep quietly until the mission in the land of the rising sun is completed.

Andrew circulated the view on the classic-style building he occupied with interest. Everything looks beautiful and perfect. Starting from the color, architecture, to traditional ornaments that decorate the glass cabinet. He just knew EEL prepared facilities in the form of a halfway house like this in Nagoya. In other countries, he will usually be placed in a hotel or one of the military facilities.

He opened the freezer, looking for something to eat or at least could cradle his stomach for a bit. Last night he only had a glass of wine and now his stomach is rebelling asking to be filled. His eyes squinted when he saw a variety of frozen food in the freezer and some types of frozen meat.

Andrew's gaze was glued to a fast food package. I don't know why that pack of chicken dumplings caught his interest. It looks like he's seen that thing somewhere. The man grabbed the food wrapper and read the directions carefully.

“Only need steaming,” murmured Andrew while weighing.

“It looks good,” he said again while opening the package.

Two years in the military before deciding to become a member of EEL made Andrew accustomed to serving himself. For the size of a man, he is quite deft in the kitchen. Heating frozen foods and making a cup of coffee is not a difficult thing. Not until half an hour later the delicious sweet smell of steamed meat mixed with fragrant coffee that is quite sharp out of the kitchen, marching to the living room and bedroom.

Clark blinked softly as his nose caught the appetizing scent. He rolled quickly from the top of the mattress to fall on the floor because one of his legs was wrapped in a blanket.

“Sial!” the young man jumped out of the room. Although his eyes were still slightly closed, he knew exactly what to look for.

Andrew was seriously studying the file that Jovanka had just sent through a signal that reflected a hologram in the middle of the room. Although Jovanka was in another halfway house, she seemed to be dealing directly with the woman.

From Jovanka's explanation, Andrew learned that the Japanese man they executed at the Radisson hotel yesterday was only one of the men sent to represent his boss. The real mafia is still in the country, preparing something for a counterattack. That is why Mr. X, once the nickname of the supreme leader of EEL, asked Jovanka and the strike team in Moscow yesterday came here to complete the mission.

“What are you doing?” hiss Andrew as the corner of his eye caught the movement of Clark who was about to take his snack on the table.

Clark grinned widely and ruffled his already messy hair.

“I'm hungry. The smell of this food made me unable to sleep anymore,” he replied with a sinless face.

Andrew glared and shook his best friend's hand hard. He ignored Clark who was complaining while blowing his fingers that hit the end of the table.

Clark pursed his lips and grumbled, “Pelit once. I just want to ask for a little.”

“Go!” drive Andrew out while grabbing his half-last dumpling bowl.

“Truly annoying,” scolds Clark before turning around and looking for breakfast for himself.

Andrew turned off his hologram transmitter and spent the rest of the dumpling on the plate. Bizarrely. Although it was only the first time to taste the food, it felt very suitable to his tongue. The man gulped down his bitter coffee and cleaned up the used utensils.

“You want to go?” clark asked when he saw his best friend pick up a gray suit that was draped over a chair.

“Hum,” replied Andrew while wearing his pantofel shoes.

“Aw! Hot!” he was strangled again when the still hot liquid burned his tongue and lips.

“Stupid basis!” gerutu Andrew saw the behavior of his friend, “I just want to look around for a while.”

When heating the dumpling, Andrew had already found out on Google about the nearby museums that were around his halfway house. Furukawa is the closest, only ten minutes on foot.

“I will be at Furukawa museum if you want to catch up,” Andrew said as he walked out.

“Good! I'll come!” clark shouted excitedly.

It returns all the furniture to its original place, not so it heats up the dumpling like Andrew did.

“I will buy food on the roadside only,” murmured while running to the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Andrew walks slowly among the passers-by, enjoying every soothing moment that comes before all of his adrenaline rushes while doing chores. For him, the two to three hours given to team members to rest before starting a new mission was golden time. He can wander around and look around at the nearby art museum. His interest in art never disappeared.

Stepping among tall buildings, side by side with strangers he had never met before made Andrew feel free and at ease. There was no pressure from his father, no interference from Alfred or Cecille, not even his head at EEL.

When the man turned his head to enjoy the beauty of the red and orange leaves across the street, his black bead captured the silhouette of a figure he had never met, but also seemed to be very familiar to him for life.

Wrapped in white blouse and denim jeans, the girl broke through the crowd quickly, occasionally slipping her messy haircut behind her ears. Stepping between the fallen leaves, the girl looks like ….

“Kinara Lee?” andrew muttered unconsciously. He blinked several times and refocused his gaze on ….

“Where is he?”

Andrew spread his gaze in a daze. The girl is not seen anymore. Half-running he chased forward while continuing to stare across the street, but the girl had completely disappeared. Or ... could it be that he was just hallucinating?

Andrew was glued to the middle of the road for almost two minutes until some pedestrians stared at him with frowns.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Slowly Andrew's hand was raised to press against his chest which seemed to be about to explode. It seemed like the nerves in his cranium were chaotic, sending out random signals and bits of information that made it difficult to breathe.

Kinara Lee ….
