Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Arrive in Kamakura

Along the way to Kamakura, Clark several times asked Leon to pull over at the gas station or the diner to keep an eye on the protection system installed on his phone. After being sure no one was following, they again drove on the streets that began to be empty. Although quite tired and sleepy, the two people in the car still force themselves to always be vigilant. Do not let your guard down and give the enemy a gap to attack.

All that they did was because Garry told him that Jovanka's men were chasing. EEL officials still believe Andrew defected, and Clark is an accomplice of Andrew. They're all doing everything they can to track Clark down.

Fortunately Garry was always quick to tell in which region was being carried out by racia and road blocking. That way Leon can rotate and take directions through the paths that are not listed in the official route. Of course Garry helped them find a safe route.

After a tiring journey, Leon finally pulled his car to the side of the highway that looks empty. Not a single person was seen around. Naturally, because the clock on Clark's wrist has shown at three in the morning. The journey that should have been taken for an hour increased to four hours because it had to rotate and avoid the examination.

“It looks like no one is following us,” Clark said as he observed a glowing yellow dot on his phone screen.

There was only that point along the route of Yakamura Road. That means no other vehicles are passing near them. He glanced to the side and found Leon's face was completely exhausted and sleepy.

“Come, go to the parking page,” take Clark while reassembling his vest and jacket so that everything is covered perfectly. It is not at all visible that behind the jacket are hidden dozens of deadly weapons that are very sophisticated.

“Good,” replied Leon obediently.

The young man was about to yawn, but he held it with a fist. While scraping and shaking his head to ward off sleepiness, Leon stepped on the accelerator so that the van was moving slowly back into the yard of a small inn on the edge of Kamakura city.

There was no security guard present, so Leon directed the wheel directly towards the empty land that seemed to be used as a parking lot for the guests' vehicles. There were two cars and three motorcycles parked there. Leon looks at the rearview mirror and occupies the most end of the parking lot, a little away from the other vehicle.

After the car had completely stopped, Clark immediately removed his seatbelt and walked towards the small inn that Garry had booked online. The young genius falsified Clark and Leon's personal data and created a fake identification tag that could be used by both colleagues while on duty.

After making sure no items were left in the car, Leon got out and pressed a button to lock the vehicle. Soon he ran over to catch up with Clark who was talking to an old man who had clearly just woken up from his sleep. The old man was wearing a knit sweater whose color had already faded.

“Thank you. Sorry to interrupt your break,” Clark said, bowing his body slightly.

The old man before him just waved his hand then went back into the building separated from the rows of innards. It seemed like he was the owner of this inn, or perhaps just the person who was told to hold the key to the inn. I don't know, Clark won't take a headache. He looked at the number on the key and immediately looked for the door with the same number.

Garry was deliberately looking for lodging with an ancient model like this so as not to be easily tracked. Any place that has used a biometric scanner must be avoided if he does not want to be caught.

Clark first stepped in, then scanned the entire room to check if there were any hidden cameras or tappers in the room. Turns out there's nothing to worry about. Although it was not exactly large or modern, the room looked quite comfortable. The wall paint is white so it looks clean.

There are two single beds placed next to each other, as well as a wardrobe that looks quite old. An antique table and two sofa chairs with ancient models are located near the window covered by a cream-colored curtain cloth that is quite clean.

Clark nodded in satisfaction. After being sure that everything was safe, he turned his head and said, “Aman. Come, log in.”

Leon nodded and entered obediently. The young man immediately put the backpack he was carrying into the dark brown wooden cabinet. The bag contains supplies, change of clothes, cash if at any time needed and spare equipment if the ammunition carried by Clark is not enough.

“Lumayan, there is warm water if you want to wash your face,” said Clark who just returned from the bathroom in the room.

He checked his phone, accessed the location Garry had just sent. Clark secretly felt salute to the young man. The time difference between Tokyo and Jakarta is two hours. That meant that the young man had not slept at all. He has been monitoring and driving since Clark and Leon left Tokyo.

Thank ye. We have arrived at the inn. You rest for a while.

After sending the message to Garry, Clark soon learned the blue print of a castle-like building from medieval times. The layout of the building is quite complicated. Although it is an old building, almost all security systems in the castle have used the highest level security system. There were men standing guard at each door. In fact, the only remaining owner of the castle was never even seen coming out of the building.

“This is quite strange,” muttered Clark while carefully checking the Nakamura family tree.

Of all the blood lines, only information about the last descendants of the Nakamura family was never reported to the general public. Even the photos and his identity were never known to anyone, except perhaps the people who were inside the castle. For years his existence was hidden very closely, especially after both his parents died in a plane crash while going to one of their companies in America.

The entire assets and company of the Nakamura family have survived until now, but the person who managed all of them never appeared in front of the pubic. The family was truly like a calm water surface that could not predict its depth.

“When do we move, Captain?” leon asked, looking fresher.

“After sunrise, we leave,” replied Clark. He then explained the details of the location to Leon and what the young man's duties were during this mission.

To minimize the risk of being caught or suspected, only Leon and Clark will infiltrate Nakamura's residence to find out what's hidden inside. Like it or not, ready or not, they must first get the item that Ryuchi and Jovanka are looking for.
