Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Starting from the beginning (?)

Keiko stepped out of the museum without saying much. To be honest, he was a little annoyed that Hiro contacted him suddenly and asked him to go home, even though he still wanted to go around. So irritating. Can't he just get a little freedom?

“Please, Miss,” said one of the bodyguards while opening the car door.

“Thank you.”

Keiko came in and sat in the back seat. As the car began to move slowly, he turned a glance towards the museum. The man was there, standing by the door and staring at him with a highlight that ... um, how to explain it? Full-time? Despairingly? His two tightly clenched hands on the sides of the body clearly indicated that he was holding something back.

The anger? The pain?

Keiko looked at the man in a slight daze. He wanted to take his eyes off, but he couldn't. It was as if there was a magnetic field that forced him to continue to pay attention to the man who had not had time to name it.

Deg ….

Deg ….

Deg ….

Keiko's fingers squeezed the edges of her bag uneasily. It seems like something is wrong, but he doesn't know what it is. It was as if he had just missed something valuable.

Have we ever met before? Why can't I remember ….

When finally the car had completely moved away and turned the corner, Keiko closed her eyes and exhaled a breath that felt stuck in her throat. Is this just a form of impingement of his subconscious because of his sense of regret to Hiro? A form of resistance to all the injustice he felt. A manifestation of her desire to be free and do whatever she wants, choosing a man to be her future husband. All the opportunities he never felt.

Keiko bit her lips and groaned slowly. The more he thought, the more his head throbbed violently. Make him want .. want ….

Kinara Lee ….

Keiko gasped and opened her eyes quickly as the soft and sweet voice echoed in the surrounding air. It feels like a dream, but it also feels very real. It was as if a man was sitting next to her and calling her lovingly.

Keiko's eyes were rounded. He checked the contents of the car vigilantly and a little suspiciously. However, he found nothing. The driver and bodyguards in front looked serious about their work.

“Kinara Lee?” mumble Keiko quietly. His forehead frowned deeply, trying hard to remember where he heard the name.

“Kinara Lee ... oh, the man. Day ....”

Didn't he just call me by that name? What the hell is going on? What madness is this?

Keiko cupped both hands to her face and muttered again, “I must have just hallucinated. The strange man must have influenced my mind so I thought I heard something. Yep. It must be.”

The girl sighed deeply and sat back up straight. There is no time to think about all of that. For now, he had to prepare himself to meet with Hiro. I don't know what that guy wants. Their last meeting was when her fiance sneaked like a criminal into her room a while ago.

Keiko's eyes narrowed when she realized the car she was riding in turned into the Hynn Industry area, the territory of the Kobayashi family. The area stands on an area of almost 200 hectares. High-rise buildings and shops line the streets. At a glance, there is nothing with the place because it resembles other areas in Tokyo. However, all that camouflage will change completely by night. All kinds of crimes are committed there, ranging from illegal arms trade, human trafficking, to drug transactions on an international scale. Therefore, not just anyone can get in there.

“Didn't you say Hiro was waiting at Airyn's restaurant for lunch? Why come here?” keiko asked the bodyguard who had picked her up.

The man sitting next to the driver replied, “Sorry, Miss. Mr. Hiro changed the location when we left earlier.”

The car entered the basement of the tallest building in the Hynn Industry area. Buildings that have a combination of black and metallic green look most dominant among other buildings. Moreover, about half a dozen burly men standing at the front looked quite sinister. Even so, they bowed respectfully as Keiko stepped in accompanied by two bodyguards sent by Hiro. Without saying much, Keiko headed straight for the elevator. One of the bodyguards immediately pressed down on the number 37 when the elevator door closed.

The 40-story building was divided into several parts with their respective functions. Starting from the first floor to the top floor, everything has a certain code in order to get in there. Keiko herself has only been here twice. The first was when Mr. Kobayashi invites her to meet in person without her father to "talk" about her engagement to Hiro. This is his second visit.

“Young Master is waiting in his study, Miss,” said the man standing on Keiko's right side.

Keiko only nodded at a glance and remained staring ahead. What else could he do but do it?

As the elevator door clang and opened, one of the men first walked ahead of Keiko, while the other flanked her from behind. Frenetic sounds of music echoed along the hallways, in VIP rooms used to conduct transactions between mob leaders.

How could he know? Of course because of Mr. Kobayashi invited him to speak in one of the rooms. It was an experience he would not forget easily.

“Please, Miss,”

Keiko cleared her throat as the man before her stopped in front of a black door engraved with a large red dragon.

“Thank you,” he said slowly.

One of the bodyguards opened the door, then stepped aside and allowed Keiko to enter. The girl sighed before stepping in very slowly. He could not imagine what was waiting for him inside. He simply could not guess what Hiro wanted to do. Is that man ….

Keiko was stunned and stared at the flower bed before her. Roses, tulips, lily, chrysanthemums, and .. oh, he could not name all those kinds of flowers. The girl blinked softly when she saw Hiro leaning against the table that was already filled with some kind of food. The man smiled gently, then walked up to her while carrying a red rose in hand.

Keiko gulped, not knowing how to behave.

“A-what's this, Hiro?” he asked when his fiancee stopped about two steps before him.

To be honest, the man looked quite handsome. His posture is quite high and contains a handsome look in his semi-formal work clothes. Highlight his normally sharp and intimidating eyes, this time looking slightly dim and soft. However, Keiko always considered the man as a friend, never having more feelings.

“I want to apologize for my insolent attitude a few days ago,” Hiro said without letting go of his gaze from Keiko.

The man reached out and thrust the rose in his hand at Keiko while saying, “I was a little drunk and. I was impulsive and stupid. Please forgive me.”

Keiko smiled stiffly and accepted the flower clumsily. There's a lot he wants to say Hiro. He wants to convey rejection, discouragement, resentment ....

However, none of his heart was able to convey.

Keiko smiled and replied, “You did scare me that night. Sorry if my attitude is also a little outrageous.”

Hiro laughed softly and held Keiko's hand towards the table. He pulled out a chair and invited his fiancee to sit down, and he sat down opposite the girl. The man looked quite elegant as he poured the wine in the glass and handed it to Keiko.

He raised his glass, looked straight at Keiko's round bead and said, “I know you don't love me, but. Please give me a chance. Let's start over. Give me a chance to approach you ..”

Keiko stayed silent for quite a while, just continuing to sit and stare at Hiro's face, looking for solemnity from the calm and serious look. There were so many considerations, the series of words scattered in his cranium. However, in the end the girl could only nod slowly. He raised his glass and touched it on the edge of Hiro gel to cause a slow twang.

“Let's start from the beginning,” muttered Keiko slowly.
