Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
Next Mission

The frenetic sound of music that snapped was unable to attract the attention of Andrew. The man sat himself on the round sofa as he sipped the drink in his glass slowly. The beautiful and sexy girls who were swerving on stage did not manage to change her interest at all. Clark clucked and glanced at his best friend in annoyance. It's their last night in Moscow and Andrew has absolutely no fun.

“You are so boring,” grumbled Clark while chugging away his drink.

He got up from the seat with a slight stagger and said, “I'll join the others. Come down if you change your mind.”

“Huh.”

Andrew only snorted at a glance and returned busy in his reverie. Every now and then he saw a cell phone lying on the table, grabbing and rereading a short message sent by Alfred two hours ago.

Mr. Roux took your promise, Young man. Quickly home.

Short, dense, and annoying. It felt like Andrew wanted to smash his phone to pieces. However, he knew it was a futile act. His father will find him, however he may. Had there been a way to disappear as far as possible out of the man's reach, he would have gladly done so.

“What makes your face so dull?”

Andrew looked up, looking at the figure who had just greeted him with squeaking eyes. The dimly lit room made him realize for a long time that the owner of the sexy voice in front of him was Jovanka, one of his superiors who led an investigation into illegal arms smuggling in Moscow.

“Miss,” greet Andrew, “Please sit.”

The body of Jovanka wrapped in a dark night dress with a backless model looks very graceful and dangerous. Andrew was pretty sure there were at least two Beretta shoots behind the dress that were tightly attached to the woman's body. Jovanka sat down and poured herself a glass of the drink, then held it out to Andrew.

“Cheers?”

“Cheers,” replied Andrew while raising the height of the glass in his hand and tapping it gently into Jovanka's glass.

“Where are the others?” ask the woman.

Andrew replied with a nod of his chin towards the stage full of stripte*se, making Jovanka chuckle softly while shaking her head.

“You don't want to follow their madness?” seductive Jovanka looked at Andrew meaningfully.

“Not interested,” replied Andrew briefly.

“Why? Usually men your age always want to party, there are many girls—“

“I already have a lover,” interrupted Andrew lazily.

He knew that from the beginning Jovanka always tried to attract his attention. With her tall body and seductive bright blue eyes, the woman was indeed very attractive. Unfortunately, Andrew did not take any interest in her. The only girl who filled his heart and mind was only Kinara Lee, a girl he had only met in dreams. Stupid and crazy, indeed.

Huh. He even wanted to laugh at himself which made no sense. However, what if the brain and heart are in sync. The two limbs only braze the name and look of the girl's face in her mind and subconscious.

The look on Jovanka's disappointed face slowly returned optimistically. He dipped the liquid in his glass, then shifted closer to Andrew. Very close to her puffed up chest and a little embossed from behind her dress clung to the man's arm. With a very sensual movement, he went down the arm to Andrew's shoulder with his index finger.

“He won't know, Honey .. we can—“

“Stop. Don't embarrass yourself, Miss.”

Andrew brushed off Jovanka's hand and stood up quickly until the woman's body attached to her jolted slightly back.

“I've had enough fun for tonight. Guten night,” he said as he buttoned his suit and walked away.

Jovanka gasped, completely unprepared to face Andrew's rejection. He had never been rejected by anyone before.

“Damn it!” meaning while fixing the position of her revealing dress.

Yes, it must be admitted he did it on purpose to have Andrew hooked on him. Who would have thought that guy just ran away? However, Andrew's attitude actually makes him more curious to conquer it.

“We'll see later, Lil Boy ..” muttered Jovanka before walking to the dance floor. There are at least a few options there that can quench his thirst.

At the exit, Andrew picks up his phone and sends a message to Clark, telling him he's back at the hotel. He was just about to walk into the parking lot when suddenly someone patted his shoulder quite hard.

“Hey!” he cried when he felt his collar being pulled away from the crowd.

“Bored.”

Clark snorted before asking, “You didn't receive incoming messages?”

“Order?”

“Yep. Just new. Um, about thirty seconds, maybe?” Clark nodded as he looked at the clock circling in his comrade's hands.

Andrew followed Clark's gaze, then said, “I'm deactivating it. What's up?”

“We leave for Japan tonight. It seems to be still in touch with the mission today. The gathering point will be distributed in one hour. The job description will be explained on the way. Come!”

“Where are the others?”

“Jovanka has taken care of it.”

Andrew's eyes narrowed. “Jovanka? She's coming?” he asked with suspicion.

“Yep.”

“Pissnelke.1”

Clark chuckles at hearing his best friend swearing. His club bead glittered in the darkness. Of course she knows how Jovanka tried to get close to Andrew during their time in Moscow, as well as the woman's efforts to join the next mission only to get close to Andrew again.

“She's beautiful. What's wrong with spending one night with her so she doesn't get too curious la—“

“Shut up!” Andrew raised his hand and hit his best friend's head.

“... aw! Dude!”

“Connard!2”

Andrew ignored the nagging Clark behind him and walked quickly towards the parking lot.

“Hey, if this is still about your imaginary girl, I—“

Andrew turned around suddenly and stared intently at his best friend.

“Close your mouth!” he shouted with a threatening tone.

Clark raised both of his hands into the air, then made a locking motion in front of his mouth. Andrew clucked, then walked back.

Drrr. Drrr. Drrr.

The phone in Andrew's hand shook. He squinted when he saw the name on the screen, then touched the red circle. Soon, however, the thing returned to trembling. The young man caught a glimpse, then ignored the vibrations from his cell phone that was unwilling to stop. When the object lit up again for the umpteenth time, he pressed the power button until the flat object in his grasp died, then threw it into the trash. No problem, he didn't use that thing to work.

“Quick!” after opening the car door.

Clark darted in and sat on the passenger bench and said, “Come, go.”

Andrew started the engine and turned the steering wheel towards the exit. Tires squeaked loudly on the asphalt as Andrew drove the red sports car leaving one of Moscow's most famous nightspots. Inwardly he kept hoping that Alfred would not succeed in tracking him before he flew to Japan.
