Remember Me, Baby.

Remember Me, Baby.
I'll take care of you

“What happened?” andrew asked the girl who was still hiding in her arms in a very slow voice.

His heart pounded until he was sure the girl could hear his irregular beat. No, not out of fear, but out of joy and excitement. Yes, it sounds quite cruel because the worried look on Sakamoto Keiko's face has not gone away. Maybe the universe took pity on him and gave him a chance. He himself did not expect Keiko would voluntarily throw into his arms.

Five minutes ago, the man had just come out and was about to walk towards the nearest subway indicated by his cell phone when suddenly someone hit him from the side, then pulled her towards one of the snack shops without having a chance to respond. He was stunned and stared at the figure dragging him for a few seconds before recovering from his shock and responding.

“What happened, Miss?” repeat it again when Keiko stays silent.

Keiko looked up briefly to look at Andrew's face, then peeked back from behind the man's body. He watched the people who entered the store vigilantly.

“They're looking for me. Sorry to bother you, but .. please help me .. just for a moment. I promise—“

“You injured?” between Andrew when he realized Keiko's knuckles were gripping her suit with a strong slight bruise and peel.

“It's okay, just a little .. it doesn't matter to me,” Keiko replied.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Fortunately, he was able to escape in time. Otherwise, I don't know what those people will do to him. Her bag and phone fell out of nowhere. He could not contact Hiro or his father. Fortunately he saw this stranger in the middle of the street. Not knowing where the impulse came from, he felt this man could be trusted.

“Who did this?” ask Andrew again.

There was a bit of unwillingness to see Keiko get hurt and worried. The girl looked like a stray cat in need of help. He touched the girl's hand very carefully, checking if there were any other invisible wounds. Fortunately, it was just a small wound on his hand.

“Those people, I don't know them,” Keiko replied with a glaring look.

Indeed, he can martial, but all that is useful if the one he opposes is issued a firearm, while he does not have anything that can be used as a weapon.

“Is there a yellow handkerchief folded and pasted in their suit pocket?”

“How can you know?” reply Keiko with surprise.

The girl tried to recall the incident. The car that was about to drive him home had just turned the first corner when it was suddenly blocked by a black minivan. Everything went on so fast that it overwhelmed him. The people around him no one dared to approach when his assailants pointed guns at him.

Fortunately he managed to escape among the crowd after leaving two of his attackers lying on the street. He had wanted to return to the izakaya where Hiro was, but that intention he broke when he saw people dressed the same as his assailants standing at the entrance. Then, here he was, in the arms of a foreign man who smelled musk.

“Come here,” take Andrew while holding Keiko's hand to the back of the store. He was quite sure, it seemed like the people who attacked the girl were Robert's men.

Andrew led Keiko past the three employees who were staring at the two of them in surprise. He took out a few yen sheets and handed them to one of the employees, then asked them to walk them out the back door.

Andrew held Keiko behind his body. He looked out at the streets, checking the situation around him. Apparently the back of the store is connected to a small alley that is quite quiet. The alley separated the other shops lined up across the street. It may have been purposely made for the employee's in and out line.

“Is your fiancee in trouble with someone?” andrew asked after believing there was nothing suspicious nearby.

“I don't know,” Keiko replied while looking down.

He did not dare to linger looking into the eyes of his interlocutor. The highlight and aura of the man was too powerful. He was afraid of being dragged into his charms and could not return.

“You memorized his phone number? I can call him to pick you up here,” bargain Andrew.

“Ya,” reply Keiko slowly.

Actually, he was eager to drive the girl home, making sure she got home safely. But now there is something else he is betting on. The mission is not finished. Do not let the cover be exposed before successfully subduing and bringing the target to the headquarters. He really did not want to act recklessly and harm the girl.

Andrew had just wanted to ask Hiro's phone number when his phone screen suddenly lit up. Call in from Clark. He touched the green circle that moved up and down on the phone screen and brought the object closer to the ear.

“What's up?” how do you hear Clark's voice from across there, “Halo? Clark? I can't hear you. Huh hello? I ... duck!”

Andrew turned around as fast as lightning and lunged at Keiko and used his body as a shield for the girl. As fast as lightning he pulled Keiko's body to take shelter behind a trash can located near the door.

Dsien!

Dsien!

The sound of gunfire from the silenced pistol nearly penetrated Andrew's cranium. A few seconds late, the bullet must have been lodged in his body. Luckily he first saw the reflection of the shadow of two men who were sneaking from the window glass.

Andrew handed the phone he still had in his hands to Keiko and said, “Quick contact your girlfriend!”

The man did not wait for Keiko's answer. He immediately ducked down and pulled out a gun from his scabbard attached to his waist and aimed at the two enemies who were advancing. Turning to the right, Andrew pulled the trigger.

Blup up!

Blup up!

Two consecutive shots had broken through the hearts of the two people. Their bodies fell, then they did not move anymore.

For a moment Andrew heaved a sigh of relief, but he knew this would not take long. Surely those two people had already contacted his comrades. The man turned to Keiko who was looking at him with an incredulous look.

“Have you contacted your fiancee?” asked Andrew while keeping the gun back.

Keiko shook her head slowly and replied, “Cannot be contacted.”

The girl continued to look at Andrew without blinking. He did not expect that the man had a rare Thunder 50 BMG pistol. According to his knowledge, there were only five such weapons in the world that were specially made by Phoenix.Co. He really did not expect that the man before him had that thing.

Who exactly is this guy?

“Come, get out of here. They must have called for help,” Andrew said as he pulled Keiko's hand.

He pretended not to see the look asked in the girl's gaze. Right now the most important thing is to find a safe place to hide.

The two men had just reached the end of the alley leading to the highway when the sound of squeaking tires echoed loudly. A Lexus RX 350 F stopped right beside Andrew, and the window glass slowly opened.

“Quick up!” clark exclaimed from the car.

Andrew breathed a sigh of relief.

“Come,” said as he gestured for Keiko to get in the car, “Don't be afraid, I'll take care of you.”
