Seconds by seconds it was going very slowly. Andrew was still kneeling on the zabuton quietly. The gripping silence was still felt, as if forcefully pulling the entire air supply from the chest cavity. However, Andrew did not move at all from his original position.
He waited for 20 minutes. It should have been enough time to .. ah, that's it. The roar of helicopter propellers sounded from a distance. Andrew narrowed and turned towards the window. Unfortunately, the helicopter is not visible from where it is, possibly passing through the other side of the castle building.
The sound of the door opening distracted Andrew. He looked up and found the butler returning to the room with a big smile. It was clear that his heart was happy. Maybe because you got something?
Andrew reviewed a faint smile and said, “It seems the host is too busy to be able to greet guests.”
The butler waved his hand in the air and replied, “Don't put it in the heart. This is my carelessness, I forgot to tell you that you have arrived.”
“Oh ... so be it ..”.
“Yes. Come, I'll drop to place—“
“So not here?” sidelines Andrew while standing and tidying up the tip of his suit carefully.
“Once again, this is my mistake. Mari—“
The butler had yet to finish his words when suddenly Andrew darted towards him. He only blinked once in surprise, and when he opened his eyes, Andrew was already standing one step ahead of him. The old man did not dare to move, a thin sword was already stuck to his neck. Highlight his shocked and nervous eyes glanced down, then realized where the sword was coming from. Andrew Roux's leather belt was already lying on the floor. Apparently the outer wrap of the belt was a scabbard of a sword whose steel slab was as thin as paper.
How could the weapon not be detected? Does the leather belt have a special coating to outwit the metal detector?
“K-you ... ka-you ...” The old man stuttered. A stinging pain at the base of his neck as he tried to speak.
“Don't try my patience limit,” hiss Andrew in a threatening tone, “Say, where they are.”
After recovering from his shock, the butler finally chuckled softly. He did not care that even though his actions deepened his wounds, blood seeped from his neck and soaked his clothes.
“You really think you can get out of here alive, Mr.Roux?” teasing the old man with his eyes glistening viciously, “Young Master Nakamura has been preparing all this for 15 years. No gap to exit.”
Andrew sneered cynically and replied, “Then .. let's see how this will end.”
The butler took out a white handkerchief from his coat pocket and wiped the blood that was still flowing. Meanwhile, Andrew's outstretched hand and holding the sword did not shift an inch.
After wiping the blood on his neck, the butler threw the handkerchief onto the floor, then opened his five fingers on the side of his face.
“Mr.Roux, I think you should know, just by flicking my finger, then the lives of your two colleagues were ... pst, lost imprint.”
“Really?”
The butler had not had time to react when Andrew moved his sword as fast as lightning, slashing the old man's fingers flat as the wood he had just cut down.
Blood splashed on the face of the butler. His eyes glared in disbelief staring at his fingers which were now scattered on the floor.
Bugh!
Andrew lifted his leg and kicked the old man to the point of bouncing and hitting the bookshelf. Shouts of pain and hatred echoed in the room. The butler's breath was panting, his eyes as red as blood splattered everywhere.
The old man hissed like a wounded poisonous snake, “Basic jerk. How dare you—“
Andrew leaped forward and stomped on the old man's chest while exclaiming, “Price of your strength, Old Man. Tell me, where are they!”
“He-he-he ..” The butler chuckled and spat on the floor. His face pajas, his teeth grinding to endure the pain. Nevertheless, he hardened his heart, gathered his strength and exclaimed with all his might, “Support!”
Brak!
The door was slammed and wide open. Four burly men barged in while brandishing pistols. However, Andrew first rolled and swung his sword towards their feet.
Cracks!
The sound of bones crackling and breaking was accompanied by a heart-wrenching howl of pain. Roaring, the four men raised their hands and were about to fire a bullet
However, again Andrew was more nimble to guess their moves. He did not give the enemy a chance to attack. In a single slash, the outstretched hands slipped from the body lying on the floor. Puddles of blood flooded the place like thick, sticky maple syrup.
“Honey, you guys are too boring,” he said as he pulled the trigger.
Dor's!
Dor's!
Dor's!
Dor's!
The heads of the four bodyguards jerked back before sliding onto the floor. A thick white liquid mixed with blood gives off a fishy odor that makes nausea. The butler who saw Andrew's brutality slowly shrank his body to the wall.
“K-you ... you are crazy .. you will regret it!” shouts with a trembling voice, “In the meantime Young Master will come and—“
Crash it!
The old man's head rolled on the floor before he could finish his words. His blue eyes were still wide-eyed, emitting a glimmer of horror as the last seconds of life fell apart from his body.
The clattering of footsteps from a distance made Andrew wary. There was no place to hide in the room so inevitably he had to go out.
Andrew looked down and pressed the sole of his shoe. Aluminum balls the size of marbles rolled out. He picked it all up, then kept some in his pocket.
He waited for the sound of footsteps to get closer, then reached out from below and threw the balls at the guard who was running towards him.
The heavily armed men were surprised to see three shiny marbles rolling towards them. However, it had not yet responded, the sound of gunfire sounding deafening. Bullets from Andrew's gun shot and hit the small circles.
Booms!
The sound of a huge explosion shook the second floor. A sizable hole formed on the floor, covered by pools of blood and charred body parts and mixed with the smell of gunpowder.
Andrew looked up and checked. There's not a single one left. He pulled out his phone and checked the movement outside the main gate. It seemed like his army had already started moving and were rushing in. The sound of battle was faintly heard from the distance.
Real nice.
Andrew stood up, clasped his gun and sword tightly, then infiltrated out. He was about to run towards the stairs. But suddenly a calm and cruel voice sounded from behind his body.
“Mr.Roux, slow to mess up at my residence. Or maybe, this girl is no longer mean to you?”
Andrew froze for a moment before turning over very carefully. His eyes narrowed to match the light from the floodlights directed at his face.
Vaguely, among the bright lights that hurt his eyes, Andrew could still see the tall man at the end of the hall carrying the body of Keiko who was still wearing hospital clothes.
“Let him go,” Andrew said as he dropped his gun and sword.
The man at the end of the hall chuckled softly and said, “Tell your men to back off. No one can approach my residence within a five kilometer radius. Otherwise, you take responsibility yourself as a result!”
“Good,” replied Andrew calmly. He picked up his phone and gave the order to his men somewhat backwards as requested by the man at the end of the hall.
“Very good. Now, come with me,” command the man again.
Andrew did not say a word as a dozen troops came and stripped all the remaining weapons from his body. One of them closed his eyes with a piece of black cloth, then pushed his back to walk. He could only rely on his instincts to step up, hearing the boots galloping on his left and right sides. A stockpile of weapons he could feel was stuck to his nape, cold and heavy.
However, all he could do now was to go with the flow and succumb to the enemy ....
