Chapter 104 - A Brief Break

Mid January. The winter winds are getting a little warmer than usual. Spring is coming soon, cherry trees that do not flower soon will bloom again.

Liyuna tightly tied the warm red scarf around her neck, staring at the slightly overcast sky. For some reason since January came, the sky more often cloudy covered with snow. Liyuna and Yuriel get out of the car. Meanwhile, Liam, seen already standing near the entrance of the cafe.

Liam opens the door for Liyuna and Yuriel, and they enter the cafe together.

After that, they went straight to the cashier to order food.

"What do you want to order?" Ask Liyuna.

"Sarada toast and cookie cream."

"Warm and croffle with chocolate drizzle topping."

Liyuna pressed the gadgets at the cashier to order their food and gave her credit card to the guard.

"Thank you, this is the table number." The cashier gave a table number made of acrylic and wood as his legs.

The three of them sat in an empty place. While waiting for the order to come, they talked lightly.

"This is the first time I've seen you wear informal clothing while working." Said Liyuna after realizing that Liam was wearing informal clothes at this time.

"How else, I can't go out with you guys in formal attire. It'll look really weird."

"Right as well, it'll definitely look like a high school kid who goes with an om-om."

A few minutes later, the order of the three of them came. A waiter came with a food trolley and placed the order on the table.

"Thank you." Said Liyuna after the cafe waiter placed their order on the table.

The servant replied to Liyuna's thanks with a very polite and friendly smile.

After all the food and drinks were on the table, the three of them paused their chatter for a moment to eat what they had ordered earlier.

"It doesn't feel bad." Liyuna commented after feeling a few sips of the drink she ordered.

"True, I also like his toast."

Liam drinks his Amerikano in silence. He did not comment, his eyes looking out of the cafe.

Outside, there were several other body guards standing guard near the cafe. After what happened not long ago, such a thing was something natural. Liyuna as the legal heir of the Castris Group in the future and Yuriel who now bears as the daughter of the Castris family need more protection for their safety.

"Yuri want to go somewhere?"

"No, there's no place I want to go. It's just, we rarely go for a walk together."

Liyuna thought a little. He didn't know if taking a walk at a time like this was the right choice. After all, it wasn't long before they almost got hurt.

Liam who had been silent stared at Liyuna and Yuriel alternately. He could see Yuriel's face filled with hope, while Liyuna's face revealed a concern.

"I don't think it's okay to walk around here. We'll try to protect you as best we can." Said Liam, he tried to make to worry Liyuna a little down.

"Really?" Yuriel's face immediately shone. What Liam said was something very happy for him.

"Of course, but don't go too far with us."

"You sure it's gonna be okay?" Liyuna who was still feeling worried could not help but ask.

"Don't worry, we'll always be around you."

Liyuna finally believed Liam's words. He and Yuriel went for a short walk around the cafe after finishing eating their entire order.

Yuriel and Liyuna were seen walking side by side. Both walked on slippery snowy streets.

Not far from there, Liam walked after the two. The distance between them is not too far but also not close.

Other body guards are also standby in their respective positions. No one had distracted them from Liyuna or Yuriel.

"Time is quiet like this, I don't know if we can have it later."

Yuriel opened her voice, she continued walking along with Liyuna. His gaze continued straight ahead, as if he was looking at something far ahead.

"I'm sure we'll have it back. Everything will be fine and it will pass quickly."

Liyuna understood why Yuriel was worried. After what had happened, he also did not know if such quiet moments like this could they get any more.

"I wish it was like that too."

"Just calm down, we'll be fine."

Yuriel who was walking in front of Liyuna suddenly stopped her steps. He turned his body and looked at Liyuna right in his eyes.

The winter wind blew stroking her long hair, covering part of her beautiful face.

"After everything is completely safe, let's do a barbeque together with Allen, Yvette, senior Lucas, and the others as well."

"Yes, let's do it after this is all over."

It was the little hope of a young girl who had always lived in fear. The hope is that everything will go smoothly without anyone getting hurt.
