Chapter 71 - Saving Yourself

Liyuna's heart was pounding. His entire body felt extremely limp after seeing the murder just now. He had not expected that the supposedly happy summer vacation had turned into such a mess.

Someone covered Liyuna's mouth with her palm. She hugged Liyuna's small body from behind and pressed her body as close as possible on the ground and tried not to be seen behind the stone.

Liyuna tried to fight back but was unsuccessful because her body and energy were outdone by the light behind her.

"Joshuahhh..." The man whispered in Liyuna's ear, asking her to shut up.

"It's me."

A very familiar voice sounded in Liyuna's ears. His voice did sound heavier than before but it was a voice he had heard before.

Unknowingly, Liyuna became a little calm. His trembling body had now become more stable. Liyuna was trying to make sure the person behind her was really the person she was currently thinking about and turned her head slightly back.

Ash-brown's familiar hair immediately greeted Liyuna's eyes, her amber eyes meeting Liyuna's blue eyes.

Harvenhelt Yuda.

After confirming that the person hugging her was the person she knew, Liyuna could breathe with relief.

Yuda is someone who works in the police force, which means that Liyuna can survive.

Hearing the movements of those suspicious people, Yuda immediately set his sights on him. He looked so serious when he saw those people.

The bodies of the man who had just been killed were dragged by other men into the forest. Liyuna did not know what they were going to do to the corpse but at this moment, someone who looked like the leader walked into the hut house made of rusty iron.

Judah took his hand from Liyuna's mouth and tried to sit down. Liyuna exhaled a little harshly as the tense situation he managed to get through with great difficulty.

"It looks like we're safe for now." Yuda said, he looks still so vigilant looking at the circumstances around.

Liyuna suddenly recalled the conversation from the people regarding Noel, with a feeling of worry, Liyuna held onto Yuda's clothes and pulled her up a little.

"Young Master, no, I mean Yuda. Please, Brother Noel, it looks like he's hurt."

His blue eyes radiated to a worry that could not be hidden. Yuda looked so surprised to see Liyuna like this. This is their second meeting since 4 years ago but it seems like the situation is very unsupportive.

Yuda gets an individual mission to watch the suspicious movements of a group of people who move to visit Alkelan Lake. Since this was a mission that he had to run on his own then he was very careful in acting, he did not want his movements to be known and endanger others and panic the visitors.

Whether lucky or not, the Alkelan lake area and its villas have been rented exclusively by the Castris family which means there will not be many visitors there. Ever since the arrival of Liyuna and the others, Yuda had been watching. Because the absence of other visitors means that a suspicious group of people whose superiors are telling is targeting one of Liyuna's entourage.

Ordinary people would definitely find it difficult to determine who the real target was because Liyuna's entourage contained children from elite families but for Judah who had sensitive instincts, it was not, he could immediately deduce that his target was Liyuna.

And sure enough, his instincts were never wrong. Yuda very carefully paralyzed the movement of the sniper who had been eyeing Liyuna to be unable to move. Fortunately two is not too late and the sniper has not had time to poke Liyuna because of Noel's intervention that had covered his body from behind.

After that Yuda searched the headquarters of the group of people and accidentally saw Liyuna who was hiding behind a rock. When he saw Liyuna who was trying to escape from the place very carelessly, Yuda quickly locked down his entire movement so that Liyuna would not do anything stupid that could make her position discovered.

"Sister Noel!" Yuriel immediately shouted when she found out that the person lying unconscious on the ground was Noel.

He tried to see what was happening and checked his body but in his stomach there was a lot of blood pouring out.

'Puncture wound!'

Seeing such a deep stab wound, it was no wonder that Noel lost consciousness. Yuriel did not know how long Noel had survived with the wound, he also must have lost consciousness because of the blood coming out.

'Relax, calm down Yuriel. It's okay, you can do it.'

Yuriel could not bring Noel because his strength was not strong so he tried to find Allen and asked for help but suddenly Allen came from the opposite direction carrying a scarf belonging to Liyuna.

"You found Yuna?" Allen asked, he still did not realize that Noel was lying unconscious near Yuriel.

"I haven't found him yet. Help me for a moment to bring Brother Noel back to the villa."

Hearing Yuriel's words, Allen immediately saw Noel who was not far from his side. Seeing Noel's injuries being so severe, Allen grew increasingly concerned about Liyuna's safety but he could do nothing at the moment. Allen helped Yuriel to lift Noel's body, fortunately the place Noel fainted was not far from the villa so they didn't need to take him too far. Allen and Yuriel were actually worried that Noel's wounds were widening but they couldn't leave him there either. It's safer if they stay inside the villa.

"Sister Noel!" Yvette was shocked to see Allen and Yuriel carrying Noel out of the woods with a wound.

"Hows it? Can you call Castris's residence?" Allen asked as he put Noel back on the ground.

"Yes, I did it. Yuriel's cell phone has been connected to Karl's uncle."

"Yuriel, are you there?"

Karl's voice suddenly sounded from the phone held by Yvette which turned on the loud speaker. Feeling her name being called, Yvette immediately approached Yvette and replied.

"I'm here uncle." Answer Yuriel.

"How is it at the moment?"

"I found Brother Noel unconscious and injured, while Brother Yuna, we still can't find his whereabouts."

"Help may come too late due to the difficult terrain. Actually I want to directly send troops with a dance helicopter unfortunately there is no helipad."

"We will wait and will try our best to find Brother Yuna."

"Be careful of you all."

The phone connection is still uninterrupted. Allen is seen entering the villa to find a cure that could help Noel and take him out.

"I don't know how to treat it." Yvette. He had never treated a puncture wound before so he did not want to take the risk to help, he was afraid that instead he would help but make things worse.

"I can try to stop the bleeding."

"You sure?" Allen looked at Yuriel uncertainly.

"Just relax, I've treated the same wound before." Yuriel tried to convince.

Allen gives Yuriel a medicine box and she starts to stop Noel's bleeding.

Right now they could only pray that Liyuna would be fine and help would arrive soon.

None of them thought that their vacation would end up like this. If you know it will be like this, Yvette certainly will not suggest a vacation in the middle of the forest. It doesn't matter if he gets bored with the sea that matters one won't get hurt by it.

The night was still so long, whereas on the other hand, Liyuna and Yuda were trying to find a safe place. They attempted to return to the point where the villa where Liyuna lived was located.

The summer breeze was blowing fiercely, accompanied by the sound of crickets singing.
