Liyuna climbed up the stairs slowly and Allen followed her from behind.
Arriving at the top, Liyuna was struck by an unusual sight. In the upper room there is a mini library with velvet carpet and also a soft bean bag. There is also a water dispenser and wifi attached to the wall. Liyuna never expected that there was such a room inside the clock tower.
"Why can there be a place like this inside a clock tower?" Ask Liyuna curiously. He was curious where the coming of items that are comfortable to use lazing around can be here.
As if realizing something, Liyuna immediately said, "Don't this be where you're lounging?"
"Whatchu mean? This is your place."
Liyuna did not understand the meaning of Allen's words. How could a place like this be his. Liyuna had just been accepted into this school so there was no way this place was hers, it seemed like Allen's head was hit by something.
"It." Allen gave Liyuna the keys to the tower.
"Why did you give it to me?"
"I told you this place is yours."
"???"
Allen seemed unwilling to answer Liyuna's confusion. He sat in a bean bag in the corner of the room and closed his eyes to sleep.
Liyuna felt a little annoyed that Allen did not explain anything and instead went to sleep but her sense of regret was lost when she saw that there were so many books on the shelf.
Liyuna picked up one of the books titled "I and the Other World." The book reminded Liyuna of herself who was currently in another world.
Liyuna sat down in an empty bean bag next to Allen and started reading the book. Word for word Liyuna read and it was true that she had become reminded that this was the world in the game she had played.
Being too immersed in what he was reading, Liyuna did not realize that Allen had woken up and approached her. Allen was curious about the book Liyuna had read.
"You never change, yeah." Allen commented on Liyuna suddenly.
Hearing Allen say he never changed, Liyuna became angry. He did not know why Allen suddenly insinuated it like that.
"What do you mean not changed? In recent years I've changed a lot."
Allen could feel Liyuna's anger coming out of his body yet he only retorted with a small ruckus. To him, Liyuna currently looked very cute like a cat that was lashing.
Allen's brain recalled the events one year ago before he returned home to Elishien.
At that time he was preparing to sleep after talking to Victor via video call. That night, it rained so heavily that he could hear the sound of lightning striking from his room. The window in his room was slightly moving due to the strong wind. Since he came to Canada, this was the first time he had felt such rain. That's why Allen immediately prepared for bed and immediately ended his conversation with Victor.
As he began to sink into the dream, Allen noticed something that made him lose his mind. In that dream he became like a madman, screaming with all his might with a hand full of blood.
Ever since that incident, Allen knew one thing. He had to take another path to reach his goal.
"Hey." Liyuna patted Allen's shoulder lightly, making Allen's consciousness return.
His mind that had gone everywhere was now focused only on Liyuna who was in front of him.
"Why daydream?" Ask Liyuna.
"I was just thinking about something."
Liyuna trusted Allen's words and returned the finished book she had read back to the shelf.
Allen followed him from behind, making Liyuna a little uncomfortable.
"Why keep following me?"
"Just because."
"Don't follow me." Liyuna said to Allen.
Liyuna was not happy with Allen's change. He suddenly followed her and noticed her, making Liyuna a little uncomfortable. Whereas in the past when he was in SD, Allen's nature was not like this. He has a rebellious nature that wouldn't even apologize if he wasn't told to.
"You..."
"What?"
"You've changed."
"When you used to look so dislike me."
"When don't I like you?"
Liyuna's expression turned to shock at Allen's words. How could Allen forget that, even though they were involved in an incident that almost made him die.
"You forgot? While in the hospital after the SD incident, you're reluctant to visit me."
"You didn't even mean it when you apologized." Liyuna continued to try again to remind him how Allen nature was to him first.
"Oh, I'm really sorry. I accidentally pushed you, besides you meddled with me."
"So it's my fault?"
"Of course it's my fault."
"Yuna, let's go get some lunch." Invite Allen after seeing the time on his watch.
Liyuna looked at the clock on her phone and sure enough it was lunchtime, even Yvette had been contacting her since. Honey, Liyuna's smart phone is in silent mode so she doesn't know that Yvette was looking for her.
"Yes, come. Yvette and Yuriel have been looking for me since."
Realizing Allen called him by Yuna's name made Liyuna look at Allen.
"Liuna." Liyuna said.
"???" Allen looked confused and did not understand with the intention of Liyuna calling out her own name.
"I said call Liyuna, not Yuna."
"What's wrong with Yuna? I told you, someday I'll be the closest person to you." Allen said as he held onto Liyuna's hair and kissed her.
What Allen did made Liyuna's face heat up. He did not expect Allen to do something this bold to him. When Liyuna was about to explode and scold Allen, she had already removed Liyuna's hair and descended towards the rungs of the stairs making Liyuna swallow back the expletive that almost came out of her mouth.
Allen was seen smiling when he came down but unfortunately Liyuna could not see Allen's expression which was very rare because he was walking behind.
Liyuna and Allen reunite with Yvette and Yuriel under a sycamore tree. Liyuna could see Yuriel and Yvette sitting under the tree and waving at her.
"I'm sorry, did you guys wait a long time?"
"True, why are you guys so long?" Yvette pursed her lips. At first he wanted to say that Liyuna was not as long as it was gone but finally decided to say otherwise.
In reality Liyuna was gone for a very long time, maybe about an hour more and Yvette didn't like it if Allen casually pulled Liyuna away.
"As an apology, lunch this time let me buy it."
"really? Yuna can't keep your promise, huh."
"certain."
Although paying for food is quite trivial for Yvette, if the one who gives is Liyuna, she will not refuse.
"Then, let's have lunch together." Take Liyuna.
They walked towards the cafeteria, Yvette saw Allen following them from behind and whispered to Liyuna, "He's coming too?"
"Of course I'm coming." Allen replied who could hear very clearly the words from Yvette.
The four of them walked together towards the canteen. Along the way they become the center of attention because of their visual equivalent to idols. Liyuna and Yuriel were already beyond doubt, but Allen and Yvette were no less. They have their own unique aura that can easily attract anyone's attention.
Every now and then Allen stared intently at the people staring at them, not liking to be noticed by people he didn't know.
Unlike Liyuna, Yuriel, and Yvette, Allen was the type of delinquent who liked to cuss at a disheveled uniform without a tie. Because of his way of adhering to such, Allen was always viewed as a bad boy. Seeing him now walking with the horde of Liyuna who were very obedient to the rules became a unique sight in itself.
