Chapter 8 - The Eye of a Poisonous Monster

"Zion, I heard your sister went out of the country, huh?"

Zion was sitting on her lap right in front of the teacher's desk. The classmate who questioned him was named Jay, an extra character who would later become his right-hand man and personal secretary. However, he was currently only a close friend who did not yet have any title.

"That's right." Zion replied briefly, both eyes still on the dark blue book in her hand.

Hearing Zion's short answer, Jay burst into laughter. Hearing Jay laughing, Zion slightly squinted her eyes, indeed what was funny from her words.

"You're so cold to your own sister."

"..."

"Don't you feel lonely?"

"Not really, it's all for his good."

"True, he's already injured Miss of the Castris family, surely your parents won't stay silent."

Zion's still quiet, yeah, there was no reason for him to tell Jay that the reason for Allen's move was not because of Liyuna but purely because their parents were in business overseas and deliberately brought Allen to tame his brutal demeanor a little and unruly.

"By the way, you've met him. How was your first impression of him?"

What Zion said was the truth, when she first visited the hospital to apologize, Liyuna was still asleep due to the effects of the medicine. So, she had no impression of him whatsoever.

At first glance Liyuna's sleeping face stopped in Zion's mind, seeing Liyuna who was fast asleep made her deny Jay's words. Zion has a strong intuition for a long time, she can tell which people have hidden intentions and which good people have no evil intentions. According to Zion, Liyuna falls into the second category. He did not understand why many people said that Liyuna had a very bad nature, even though they had never met before. But for Zion, it's not very important, whether or not Liyuna is bad is not her business.

"All kids are always bad."

"Ah, yes too." Jay said Zion.

It is true, children often behave badly, especially if their wishes are not met. So, there was no reason for Jay to refute Zion's remarks. Jay is also not very interested in Castris.

If indeed Liyuna had a bad nature, Ravenray should be in trouble right now. But because nothing significant happened to Ravenray, it can be concluded that Liyuna did not hold a grudge against Allen.

Everyone is looking for the wealth and power they have and this makes the families to work together. Especially with Harvenhelt they will feel safe with some threats, of course not all threats can be comforted Harvenhelt, some of which can only be resolved with their own abilities. Therefore, orphanages under the auspices of the Castris family are targeted by people to get students who can in all fields and are able to protect their families. Of course, you are, not all children in the house want to follow them because they can go to other families if they themselves want because the children of the home is protected by the Castris family and also by law state on human rights. So, even though they came from a respected family, they could not just pull the child from the orphanage. They must follow all the procedures and requirements that have been determined in advance and fulfill the contract as requested by the children they will adopt as learners.

"You feeling anxious?" asked Zion while putting down the book she had read and held. This time his eyes looked at Jay who was putting his head on the table.

"of course. Hasn't there been a lot of accident news lately, I've been feeling a little anxious."

Zion agreed with Jay. Lately the news about accidents is more and more. Zion wanted to think of it as a mere coincidence, but judging from the many accidents that happened to elite families, it made her unable to dispel the strange feelings that were in her heart. He felt that something was missing and he did not realize what it was. Something that if left unchecked will become very dangerous and difficult to deal with.

Zion stared out the window, looking at the gingko tree next to her class. The summer sun shone very brightly and the sound of crickets singing. He hoped, his bad feeling this time was wrong.

On the other hand, Liyuna who had been dealing with Lucas was currently sitting in her class and conversing with Yvette who had just left for school. As usual, Yvette greeted her with a bright face, her smile was so bright that anyone who saw her could not be angry.

"Yvette, do you know a guy named Lucas?" liyuna asked suddenly.

Currently, Liyuna did not have any information regarding the extra that she had met this morning. The only source of information for her was Yvette, although she looked careless and reckless, that Yvette had a lot of information regarding the students in this school. Maybe because of his easy nature to get along with anyone makes him able to easily get various kinds of information.

"Lucas? You mean Miss Lucas Obelian?"

"Yes, Lucas Obelian."

"He's our senior."

"Senior?"

"True, he's 2 years older than us."

"What field is it moving in?"

"I don't know much about them because Obelian is an international company, but to my knowledge they provide body guard services and are based in Russia."

"That body guard yesterday, Lucas's?"

"Not Miss, they're the body guards of other students. I don't know who exactly, 'cause they said it was a secret."

"Umm... since senior Lucas doesn't need such a thing?"

"Why not need?"

"Since he has no enemies in this country and he is not an heir so there is no way anyone is after him."

Hearing Yvette's explanation, Liyuna becomes increasingly curious about Lucas' true identity. Yvette didn't recognize Lucas yesterday because he was wearing a hoodie and it's possible that the reason Lucas was chased by a black suit yesterday has to do with his origins. Perhaps Lucas's alsan became an extra who was never even named as well because of his family's company that was overseas and had no connection whatsoever with the conglomerate's family in the country as well as him not an heir. This was quite useful information for Liyuna who knew nothing about Lucas. Even he doesn't have a single piece of information from the game because Lucas is just an extra.

"He's not the heir?"

"Right, as far as I'm concerned senior Lucas is not the heir. If he's an heir he shouldn't be here because usually the heir of a company like his family's would educate their heirs personally and wouldn't involve outsiders."

What Yvette said made a lot of sense. Companies that provide body guard services such as those of Lucas are unlikely to let their heirs attend public schools like other family heirs for various reasons.

"Why did Miss ask about senior Lucas?"

"I just met him and I'm a little curious."

"Ah, so it seems. Senior Lucas is a good person, very cheerful and easy to get along with."

Hearing Yvette Liyuna's words felt a little skeptical. It's true that he's a cheerful person and looks very harmless, but he's not sure if Lucas is a good person because he has a different aura than the people he's met.

Shortly after, the teacher entered the class. Yvette returned to her seat and Liyuna prepared her book for lessons. At lunch break, Liyuna and Yvette went to the cafeteria to eat together. Liyuna ordered a big ice cream cone in a glass because she couldn't stand the heat she felt. However, suddenly Lucas joined their table and sat down next to Liyuna. Liyuna who saw Lucas sitting next to him immediately looked at Lucas who also looked back at Liyuna.

"Junior, it doesn't seem like you're hot, huh. As a request for forgiveness for the incident this morning, I give you my mini fan." said Lucas while thrusting his deep purple mini fan.

"I can buy it myself." said Liyuna slightly ketus.

Lucas laughed a little at Liyuna's reply and said, "Don't be so tired, people who intend to be friends with you are afraid later."

What Lucas said felt like beating Liyuna in the heart because what he said was the truth. Liyuna did not have any friends because all were afraid of her, what else if she were to talk ketus, people would definitely stay away from her even more.

"Senior, don't tease Miss Yuna. He's just a little stiff" Yvette said in defense of Liyuna.

"Yes, I know."

Seeing the popular Lucas approach Liyuna, people started whispering to each other. In this quite spacious and noisy canteen their voices could not be heard too much but their gazes were directed at Liyuna's desk.

"Look, senior Lucas is sitting with Miss Castris."

"Senior is so brave."

"What senior doesn't think about the risks."

"Senior wins are always good to anyone."

"Hopefully senior doesn't get in trouble."

"So, what do you want senior?"

Liyuna called Lucas with senior frills so that others who heard him did not think that Liyuna was disrespectful for calling Lucas without frills.

"I've lost it, I just wanted to apologize. Since you didn't accept my request this morning, I'll apologize again."

"Then, according to my senior who will now forgive senior, is that it?"

"Hmm. I feel like you won't forgive me either."

"Then, what is senior wasting his time approaching me for?"

"If I'm not forgiven now, then I just need to apologize until I'm forgiven, right? I'm the kind of person who can't stand still if I make a mistake."

Liyuna looked at Lucas who was sitting next to her. But both his eyes were fixed on Lucas' unique eyeball that was purple. To an extra like him, those purple eyes were too exaggerated, what else was his silver hair. To be seen, however, is too flashy.

Lucas who felt Liyuna's gaze began to feel uneasy and looked back at her. He held his right eye for a while as he realized that Liyuna was staring into his eyes.

"My eyes are terrible like poisonous monsters huh?" ask him unconsciously.

Hearing Lucas' question, Liyuna became a little surprised. This is a cliche question that in-game characters often ask who have overly pretty eyes.

"My eyes are terrible, aren't they?" ask the male lead.

"That's not true, your eyes are so pretty like diamonds" replied the female lead as she cupped the male lead's face in both hands.

"You're lying, everybody says my eyes are the unlucky and terrible bearers."

"Don't listen to people, they're just jealous because you have very pretty eyes."

"Don't leave me and stay by my side. Only you can understand me."

Just now was the scenario that was spinning in Liyuna's brain. Cliche scenarios that are always in the game. However, Liyuna as the antagonist will not say things as sweet and as good as that and again, Lucas is just an extra. So, Liyuna also did not need to act according to the usual scenario and she had to distance herself from such a dangerous extra.

"It's not like a poisonous monster anyway, but it's more like a witch." Liyuna replied with a big smile.

In this way, Liyuna was sure Lucas would get angry and start to stay away from her. Who wants to be said to look like a witch. Whether it's a poisonous monster or a witch, both are bad things. Anyone who hears will not like it.

After all, Liyuna is not making things up, usually if in the game, the purple-eyed character has a mysterious nature and dark forces like a bad person. So, if he said it to a witch, that's not the wrong thing, is it? Lucas is a character in the game. So, Liyuna did not feel too guilty. Blame the game developers who made your eyes color that way.
