Surviving As The Villainess

Surviving As The Villainess
Chapter 80 - The Fear of Being Afflicted

Liyuna and Yvette went to pick up the warm tea that was provided at a place not far from the cemetery. They brought two glasses each. After taking the warm tea, they decided to return to where Yuriel and Allen were but Liyuna's footsteps came to a halt when she saw Zion standing in front of her mother's grave.

"Yvette, can you go back alone?"

Yvette looked at Liyuna for a moment but finally decided to appreciate what Liyuna wanted and go alone.

"All right, we'll be waiting for you."

After Yvette went away, Liyuna looked at Zion from a distance. Zion is seen just standing in front of the tomb with an umbrella that is already full of snow. He continued to stare at his mother's grave, making Liyuna a little pity.

Liyuna did not want to get close to Zion and she thought it was better not to get in touch with her because Liyuna wanted her and Yuriel to unite. But after what he saw, Liyuna could not do it because it was possible that Almera died from her actions.

If only he had not entered this world and if only he had not destroyed the storyline, it was possible that Almera would not have died so soon. Even so, Liyuna was also reluctant to die. She wanted to survive even as an evil woman.

With a slightly hesitant step, Liyuna approached Zion and stood next to her then thrust out the warm tea that was supposed to be for her.

"You should keep your body temperature warm."

Zion looked at Liyuna's thin hand that offered her a glass of warm tea. Zion couldn't refuse Liyuna's gift because she didn't want to act disrespectfully.

Zion took Liyuna's tea and drank it. Warm, his body felt a little warm. Whether it was because of the tea he had drunk or because someone gave it to him attentively, Zion did not know but at this moment he could feel a warm feeling that was so comfortable.

Liyuna stood beside Zion for a few minutes, hoping that it could ease Zion's feelings. Although she did not look like she was shedding tears, Liyuna knew that Zion was feeling sad. There was not a single child who did not feel sad when his parents died, nor did Zion.

"I'm sorry, then." Said Liyuna, she walked away and returned to the place where Yuriel and the others were.

Zion stared at Liyuna's distant back and went back to drinking her tea. His eyes that had looked so empty now revealed a flash of light, as if he had come back to life and found the light.

When Liyuna returned, she immediately gave her one glass of tea that was still in her hands. Looking at Liyuna who was carrying one cup of tea alone made Yvette wonder since she had previously brought two glasses.

"I drank it."

Liyuna did not tell the truth. He did not want the atmosphere to be awkward back and decided to hide the fact that he had met Zion.

Time rolled by very quickly, the news of the Almera killing spread very quickly like water falling from a height. Very strong and difficult to dispel, destroying everything in front of him.

Hearing the news of the murder right in the heart of Elisien made the citizens fall in panic. Not only Almera but dozens of servants and workers also became victims. No one thought that Ravenray could be penetrated easily.

"It's scary, if they can break through the Ravenray family's guard, then what about the citizens can be like us."

"Right, it looks like the Elishie city is becoming unsafe."

"I think I'm going home for a while."

"Look at the number of casualties. It's not a small amount."

"Is there any further information from the police?"

"What really happened to Elisien? Why does something like this happen so often?"

"As we know, last night the Ravenrays were attacked by a group of armed men. Security can be broken down easily and many victims fall. What the hell is going on?"

The news carrier was seen interviewing one of the police officers who was also in charge of the case. They held a question-and-answer event to make residents a little calm because currently various social media is exploding on this issue. Of course, the police did not really tell the actual incident to minimize the panic that had struck. Many people started to leave the city of Elishien and some companies closed for a while.

It seemed like something big was lurking the city of Elishien in the shadows. Something evil and terrible and the sword was shown to the elite family. Some very frightened families decided to go to the state family until the issue subsided.

"It's really surprising." Sara said while watching the news on television accompanied by Liyuna.

"Right, I didn't expect Aunt Almera to be the victim."

"This city has become increasingly insecure over time." Sara muttered, she hugged Liyuna's body very tightly.

Since the murder attempt, Sara has been very worried about Liyuna's safety. If you are not lucky, it is possible that Liyuna will also suffer the same fate as Almera. Sara doesn't want that, she wants to protect her daughter Liyuna.

"It looks like Mama should visit the Harvenhelt family to thank you."

"Hmm...?"

"He protected you a while ago, Mama will visit him and thank him in person."

"Then I'll come."

Liyuna just remembered that she had not properly thanked Yuda. Right said Sara, it seems like she should come along and say thank you.

On the other hand, Yuriel was in Karl's study. Now Karl sat down in his chair and looked at the documents on the table, while Yuriel stood in front of him without moving.

"You already know the situation, right? Everything's getting out of control."

Karl did not look at Yuriel at all and remained focused on the documents he had to complete but his remarks led to Yuriel.

"I understand that very well."

"I won't let you go back to making mistakes. You should know that I brought you here to be bait."

Yuriel's eyes darkened upon hearing this. Compared to anyone else, he knew his role and duty. He also accepted this because he wanted to protect Liyuna yet things did not go as they should. Perhaps this was the karma he had to pay after making such a request.

Karl was a good father to his family but in Yuriel's eyes, he was a cold-hearted demon. Karl only cares and protects the people he cares about but Yuriel does not fall into that category. He came to Castris's residence because of a covenant and Karl would not care about his circumstances.

"For the next time, I will make sure that Brother Yuna will be fine."

Yuriel could not let everything fall apart. He must put everything under his control and pay for his mistakes. This time, he did not want to lose Liyuna.

If anything were to happen to Liyuna, Yuriel would probably go crazy. He had no reason to see Liyuna's death. He's here to stop that.

He would do everything to save Liyuna because she was a light who had saved her. A light that made him realize that there are still people who really sincerely love him in this world.

[A/N: Someone is good with you, not necessarily that person is good with others. No need to be surprised if the nature of Karl is like this, because from the beginning the author has already given instructions if he weighs something based on useful or not. He's a good father but that doesn't mean he's good for anyone else.]
