Chapter 111 - The End of Ravenray

A white car drove so fast on a road close to the cliff. As the sun began to sink and the streets were filled with mist, it was very difficult to see properly.

Even so, Eldo continued to step on the gas pedal, as if he did not care about the circumstances around him. He was currently chasing the black-colored car that was in front of him.

Ever since his wife's death, Eldo has always sought out the reason why his wife should be killed and who exactly did the heinous thing.

And from that moment on he turned into a very foreign figure, even for his own son. Still, Eldo did not care. He wanted to find out the truth and avenge his wife who died so tragically.

Suddenly the car in front of him turned so sharply that it closed the road ahead. Eldo who saw it reflexively stepped on the brake pedal in his car, making his body slightly forward because of the sudden stop. Fortunately, he cursed the seat belt so that his body did not bounce.

A few seconds passed. There was no movement from the car in front of him. Eldo knew that they were aware of what he was doing. Eldo also did not know what would happen to him but the worst possibility was that he would end up just like his wife.

Eldo also believed that even if he was not in this world, Zion would be able to survive and replace his position. Eldo believed strongly in his son's abilities and he was confident that Zion would protect Allen well. Although the two have a bad relationship, Eldo knows that Zion will definitely protect his sister.

And even though Allen was quite an impulsive child, he was not a fool. Eldo was sure he could guess what had happened just by looking at the situation.

Suddenly the car door in front of him opened. A man driving the car came out holding a long-barreled firearm.

Seeing that, Eldo immediately understood one thing.

He won't survive.

And because they were struggling to stop, Eldo had to follow what they wanted. Eldo got out of the car and walked slightly forward.

"You know you can't go back?" Ask Feon.

Feon was one of the Cerberus members who had previously introduced Harry to other important members. You could say he acted like Harry's right hand.

Eldo stared at Feon who was carrying a long-barreled rifle expressionlessly. Even though he knew that there was a possibility that he would not survive.

Eldo believed that Zion could replace him. He felt guilty for his sons but he could no longer return.

No matter how many people told him to stop, Eldo could not do it. Especially when considering what the condition of his wife when killed. His body was filled with bullet holes and his blood dripped down the floor.

"Yes, I know that."

"So, what do you want from us?"

"I think you understand what I want."

Feon glanced towards the car, looking at the figure of the man sitting in the back seat quietly.

"I'm not a psychic. If you don't say it then I won't know."

"The man sitting behind you, did he kill my wife? I'm sure you already know my identity."

Feon did not answer.

The car glass suddenly descended, revealing the figure of a black-haired man. He wears a formal suit of dark green stripes.

"You came here for revenge?" Ask the man.

His voice was so foreign to Eldo's ears, that it made him realize that he did not know the man.

"I don't think revenge is the right thing. If I could do it, I would've done it a long time ago."

"True, you can't do it. That's why you ended up like this. Can only follow us."

Eldo fell silent, he could not refute the man's words.

"Then how? What do you want from me after you've come this far."

"I have a question."

"You risked your life just for a question? Are you stupid? I didn't expect the Chairman of Raven Group to have such shallow thoughts."

"You certainly don't understand. If someone precious to you died that way, I'm sure you'll lose your mind, too."

Eldo stared at the man sitting in the car sharply. At the moment his determination was already unanimous and he was ready to accept all the consequences.

"So what's your question? I'll comfort you before you die."

"Why did you kill my wife?"

"ah! Of course, that must have been your question since the beginning you did this all because of it."

The man seemed to think for a moment before finally answering.

"There really is no particular reason. It's just that he knows my identity. He shouldn't have found out about it."

"Just because of that?"

"Yes, just because of that."

Both of Eldo's hands clenched so tightly that his nails pierced his palms. He bit his lower lip until it bled.

Eldo could not help his feelings at this moment. How could he say that. How could he kill his wife just for such a stupid reason.

"I can't let anyone know my identity. It was the last thing I didn't like the most."

"Your identity was revealed not because of my wife, but because of your own carelessness. Then why are you targeting him?"

"That's not true, doesn't he know my identity because of your son? I've let it go for years and I never thought your wife would be the first to solve all her puzzles."

Eldo knew about it. The man who had been investigating Cerberus was Zion. At first he did it out of curiosity but he did not know that the investigation he did would end with the death of his mother.

"Although that is so, you are the one who is careless. You're putting our son Allen in danger."

"That's not an accident. From the beginning our only goal was Castris."

"Why are you after them? I think the reason is different from what happened to my wife."

"You're right. I did it for a different reason."

The back door of the car is open. The man walked out and stood behind Feon.

Eldo who was standing not far from there could clearly see the man's appearance. His eyes were perfectly rounded and he was at a loss for words.

That face was familiar to Eldo. But he still couldn't believe what he saw.

"You. don't-don't..."

Harry grinned at Eldo's words. It's not strange that Eldo recognized her.

"Good long sleep." Said Harry.

Suddenly, Eldo's body fell onto the asphalt. He seemed unable to move and over time his consciousness disappeared.

Even so he still tried to stare at Harry sharply. Eldo did not think that the real culprit was him.

Eldo's consciousness began to disappear until he finally could see nothing but darkness.

"Put him back in the car, make it look like it's an accident."

"But if the body's at the autopsy, the police will know the truth."

"No problem, they won't be able to catch us anyway." Harry got back in the car.

Feon followed Harry's orders. He took the leather gloves and took Eldo back to his car. Before turning on the car's engine, Feon picks up an anesthetic needle fired by one of Cerberus' hiding members.

The members came out of hiding and assisted Feon in carrying out his duties.

That day, the Ravenray family lost its head. Leaving two very young sons, making them the only family without adults.

The dark history that has always enveloped the Ravenray family makes it all realize that tragedy always accompanies them.
