Surviving As The Villainess

Surviving As The Villainess
Chapter 77 - Research

Seeing the reality grinning right before his eyes, Allen tried to calm himself down. Although what he was currently seeing reminded him of a memory he wanted to bury, Allen still had to be able to control himself.

He took his cell phone out of his coat pocket and called Zion. It all just happened. Allen also did not understand why he told Zion in advance about this incident than his father. After the phone was connected, Allen immediately told what he saw. He also called his father.

"Don't call the police. Contact Yuda Harvenhelt first to deal with this matter." Said Eldo, his voice sounding vibrating in Allen's ear.

After Allen heard that the phone connection had been cut off, there was a message coming in from Eldo.

'Yuda Number Harvenhelt.'

Allen understood why his father asked him to contact Yuda instead of the police. All because his father did not want to make a mess in the city of Elisien. If anyone knew that a major event like this happened to the Ravenray family, surely people would start to panic especially those who lived in Elisien.

Yuda is a detective with great abilities, Allen admits it is because he can quickly solve a murder incident that almost took Liyuna's life. Shortly after the incident, Yuda managed to arrest the leader of the organization and put him in jail. Allen did not know how he could do that yet he was a trustworthy person.

Allen immediately contacted Yuda and told him what had happened. After hearing Yuda's confirmation that he was coming, Allen turned off his phone and sat on the floor where there was no blood dripping and corpses lying.

Not until he sat down did Allen stop his steps. He saw an inscription next to Almera's body. A deep red lettering. Allen's eyes tried to find something and sure enough, Almera's index finger was also covered in blood which meant Almera was the one who wrote the message on the table with her blood.

Allen walked over, trying to read what Almera left behind in her final seconds.

THE TARGET IS CASTRIS

Allen's eyes were perfectly rounded. Seeing the name Castris called, Allen's mind went everywhere.

'Had too...'

Zion is seen sitting at the airport. He covered his face with his palm that was starting to cool. He could not hide his body that began to redden due to the piercing cold air, if left for longer it was possible that he would get hypothermia.

An airport attendant came up to him and gave him a blanket after the boss told them to help provide the best possible accommodation to Zion.

Zion simply fell silent and let the airport attendant wrap a warm blanket over her body. No matter how hard he tried to calm down, he couldn't possibly hold on. He was very worried about his mother.

Many things appeared in Zion's head. Why was Ravenray attacked? What did Ravenray do to this? And who have they provoked?.

All of a sudden, the sound of the announcement was heard so clearly in Zion's ears. He clenched his hands together and clenched tightly.

“This is an announcement for passengers on flight 250 to Elishien. The flight has been delayed due to the snow storm. The flight crew has been arranged at the gate, but the ground crew is still de-icing the wings of the aircraft. Our new departure time is 11:30 PM.”

Hearing the announcement just now, Zion could do nothing. He tried to contact Allen but his phone was out of reach.

This time, Zion could only helplessly wait until she could return to Elishien and see firsthand what had really happened.

Yuda's first impression of Allen wasn't very good. They first met at the Raven Group's anniversary party and Allen showed a very childish nature. According to Yuda's view, Allen is the type of person who likes to be alone without thinking about risk. As a person who was more interested in people who had strong instincts, Yuda preferred to get closer to Zion than Allen.

Yet somehow the second time he met Allen in Alkelan, the first impression that was already embedded in his brain was as if it was just an illusion that he made himself. Allen turned into like everyone else, not only his actions but also the aura surrounding him. It makes Yuda surprised but he does not think too much about it because his name will definitely change over time.

At this moment he stood before Allen who did not show any expression of sadness or fear at all as if the one who had just died was not a person he knew but a stranger. Yuda stared at Allen for a moment before finally asking to be allowed into the mansion for an investigation.

Inside Judah did the best possible investigation without leaving a single corner. As a human being given an edge, Yuda always uses his abilities effectively to be able to handle all cases quickly.

After checking all the bodies in Ravenray's residence, Judah was able to conclude that all of them died from being shot. He then took one of the bullets in the service body by inserting his finger that had been wrapped in gloves into a hollow body and gouging out the bullets embedded there.

Instantly, the gloves he was wearing were covered with blood. Yuda tried to watch the bullet carefully and put it in a container filled with water so that the blood that stuck was rinsed. After that he twirled the bullets and found a familiar mark.

"Once again they." Yuda muttered while putting the bullet into a plastic container that he had prepared earlier.

In recent years, Judah has been seen in the case of a criminal organization known as Cerberus. Lately their organization has been killing a lot and they always leave a trail intentionally, as if they really want to be found.

Bullets with the symbol of a three-headed dog are one of the strongest proofs that the identity of the attacker is them. No one else knew of this symbol other than some of the higher-ups in the police, Aegis team, and himself.

Judah does not know what they are really after because the crimes they always do are so random that it is very difficult to know what they want.

But it looks like it will end today. Judah looked at the writing that Almera had left on the table with her blood.

Yuda had indeed been suspicious ever since Liyuna was attacked in the Alkelan lake and it seemed, her suspicions won out right. Cerberus was eyeing the Castris family and he was sure they would not stop with just this.

And it's possible that the reason they killed Almera who was part of the Ravenray family who had no connection to Castris was because she knew something she shouldn't have known.

Yuda hid his mouth behind his palm, this was the pose when Yuda was thinking about something seriously.

"Could Madam Almera know the true identity behind Cerberus?" Yuda murmured when a very unreasonable thought entered his brain.

Yeah, no other reason. Almera fared like this for sure because she had found out who was behind the assassin who tried to kill Liyuna and maybe, the perpetrator had something to do with Cerberus.

Realizing that what he was thinking was extremely extraordinary, Yuda subconsciously grinned. His eyes shone like a child who had just found a new toy. Yes, this is the true face of the genius young detective. When he discovers a new truth, he cannot hide his happy face.

"Liyuna, it looks like we'll be in touch from now on."

Yuda was looking forward to it. Ever since meeting with Liyuna back then, she had felt very interested. An 8-year-old boy who had a very mature and mysterious aura, made him so interested. Yuda was impatient with the interesting story he would go through after this along with Liyuna.

At that time, Judah did not know that what he wanted would be something he hated very much.
