Chapter 22 - Summer Vacation II

Yvette and Liyuna returned to the hotel at 11pm with Karl and Sara. They were preparing for lunch at a restaurant that had previously been booked.

Liyuna put a bucket of shell shells and a little white sand on the table in her hotel room. She and Yvette slept in different rooms because Liyuna wanted to keep her privacy. Yvette was also not a problem if he had to sleep alone so Karl ordered one room for each. Of course, Karl and Sara did not sleep apart. "Yuna, we're shopping yuk! I just saw a funny knick-knacks shop."

"Well, let's go shopping after this." Liyuna replied in agreement with Yvette's invitation.

Karl immediately took the others to the table he had booked before. The waiter directly prepares the food that has been ordered Karl –ia order bundle package so that it can get service first.

After various kinds of seafood were served, Liyuna and others immediately ate the food they liked. For Liyuna herself, she really likes squid and shrimp. Yvette likes shells. Karl and Sara were not the type to choose food, so they devoured whatever was on the table.

"Yuna, try this." Yvette said as she gave the clam meat she had released from the shell to Liyuna's plate.

Liyuna wanted to honor Yvette, so she ate the shell. He was surprised because his clam meat felt very juicy and thick.

"It's so bad." Liyuna said satisfied.

"Of course, Abalone shells in restaurants are very famous. They can process various types of seafood very well and eliminate the fishy smell." Sara told Liyuna.

"Really! This restaurant is the best." Yvette agreed to Sara's words. Having tasted Abalone's clams as delicious as this, he might not agree. His stomach has been blessed today.

On the other hand, Liyuna was surprised by the kind of clams Sara had just mentioned. How not, Abalone shells are very famous for their expensive price. Even in Liyuna's previous life, he had never seen the shape of the shell but the name of the shell was often heard. Liyuna once again sensed how the real Liyuna had lived all this time.

After finishing lunch, Liyuna asked Karl san Sara for permission to go shopping at a shop near the beach. Sara gave her permission easily because Yvette was with Liyuna and she returned to the hotel with Karl.

"Be careful on the road." Sara said before Liyuna left the restaurant.

"Just calm down, Auntie, Yvette will protect Yuna." Say Yvette with confidence.

Hearing Yvette's words, Sara smiled in relief.

Liyuna and Yvette walked out of the restaurant towards the shop that Yvette had mentioned earlier. On the way, they met a lot of people who were selling snacks such as shaved ice, grilled sausage, ice cream, and also young coconut ice.

Arriving at the store, Liyuna and Yvette saw a wide variety of unique accessories made from shells. There are also handcrafted accessories of the alley made of wood and coconut shells.

"Yuna, look at this." Yvette stood facing Liyuna, on her head was a bandana decorated with shells. It really looks very beautiful because the shells are colored with blue paint and also silver glitter.

"It's so pretty." Compliment Liyuna.

The bandana was indeed very beautiful to Liyuna.

"Let's buy this. We buy twins."

"All right."

There was no reason for Liyuna to turn down Yvette's offer because she thought the bandana was indeed cute and she felt that Liyuna was suitable to wear such a bandana.

"Thank you for shopping." The seller was about to wrap Liyuna and Yvette's bandana but Liyuna stopped.

"No, we're gonna fucking scold him." Said Liyuna while wearing the bandana on her head.

Yvette followed what Liyuna was doing and pulled Liyuna's hand out of the shop. They both take a walk around some food booths and ice cream and occasionally buy to taste.

Liyuna's footsteps suddenly came to a halt when she saw a medium-sized painting in the middle of a shopping mall. In the painting there is a price writing which means it is a painting that is being sold.

Unknowingly both of Liyuna's legs moved toward the painting. He felt the painting with his hands lightly.

It was a painting of a lauriel kamfer tree. The tree grew so big in the middle of the green grass and under the clear blue sky. To be honest, it was not the most beautiful painting Liyuna had ever seen, but somehow the painting looked very familiar.

Suddenly a shadow flashed through Liyuna's memory. At that moment his body froze. This was not the first time Liyuna had felt something like this. Shadows often appear suddenly in Liyuna's memory, including this one.

In the shadow, he saw the figure of a boy reading a book under a large kamfer lauriel tree. Around the tree was overgrown with green grass and not far from there was the sound of flowing water, as a sign that the place was close to the river. A girl walked up to the boy and sat next to him. Liyuna did not know who the child was because his face was blurry but she knew that the boy and the girl had a significant age difference because it was very clear that the boy was it had the posture of a teenage child whereas girls had a small posture.

Strange shadows always appear and the trigger is different. Liyuna did not understand the meaning of what she saw. Is this Liyuna's original memory or just her imagination. Liyuna did not understand.
