Chapter 69 - The Killer of Pay

The summer wind blows softly. The sound of crickets singing accompanied Liyuna who was sitting on the bridge connecting the lake and the mainland.

The lake water is so clear that it reflects the moonlight, giving the impression of a charming fantasy world.

After a long day of water and campfire, Liyuna felt exhausted but somehow she could not sleep. He quietly walked out of the villa and sat here, seeing how beautiful the moon was under the reflection of the water. The air in this place is very clean so it makes Liyuna who lives in the middle of the city feel comfortable.

Liyuna held the scarf she used to wrap around her body so as not to get cold exposed to the night air in the summer.

Suddenly someone held onto her shoulder, making Liyuna screech slightly in surprise.

"Sorry to have surprised you." Noel.

As he was on patrol, he noticed that there was a shadow of someone near the lake and approached him, he did not expect that the shadow was Liyuna.

"Sister Noel."

Noel sat down beside Liyuna and gazed towards the lake. Liyuna herself was not bothered by Noel's presence because ever since she started school, Noel had been with her. You could say, Liyuna saw Noel as a reliable older brother figure.

"Why hasn't Miss slept?"

"I can't sleep yet."

"It's tired, but I can't sleep."

Crickets accompanied them. The summer breeze blew even tighter, making Liyuna's hair fall apart.

"Sir Noel himself why hasn't he slept?"

"I can't sleep either."

Noel did not tell Liyuna the truth. He did not want Liyuna to feel worried. Since then Noel can feel the existence of other people besides the five of them in this place and it should not be possible because this place has been rented exclusively.

Noel is one of the great children of Astraea, a home under the Castris Foundation. All children in the orphanage get more education than children in general because after leaving the bias they will immediately work for families who sponsor them. Of course they can refuse if they do not want to but Noel himself wants to work for the Castris family. That was why Liyuna's safety became a top priority for him.

Noel's eyes narrowed when he saw that there was a red dot on Liyuna's shirt, he sharply stared at the direction of the red dot. Noel tried not to make Liyuna alert so she slowly moved behind Liyuna to block the red titi.

Noel suddenly became a little tense, he knew what point it was. If he did act rashly, Liyuna could have been hurt. Liyuna who saw Noel suddenly move behind her asked, "What's the matter sis?"

Noel held Liyuna's hand and held her small body in his arms. Noel apologized for being suddenly disrespectful and asked Liyuna calmly to return to the villa.

Liyuna could not hide her questioning expression but looking at Noel who looked very serious, Liyuna could not resist. He nodded his head slowly and returned towards the villa.

Suddenly Liyuna sensed a light coming towards her, she reflexively lowered her head and saw a knife sticking right into the wall of the villa door that Liyuna was about to open.

Immediately Liyuna fell to the ground in shock, she gripped the scarf that wrapped around her body very tightly. His heart was beating very fast and his breathing started to get irregular.

The end of the evil female character Liyuna who is in the game re-enters her brain. Liyuna is a character who always dies in every ending and what just happened makes Riana really scared.

He looked back, tried to find Noel and asked for help but when he turned his head, Noel was gone. Like being hit by reality, Liyuna realizes that Noel told her to leave because she knew someone was trying to kill her. No, it was possible that the target was not Liyuna but someone else sleeping in the villa. In this place it was not only Liyuna who came from an elite family, if not Castris then the target was Allen.

Despite her fear, Liyuna decided to run away from the villa. If he stayed away and turned the attention of the hit man to her, the people who were in the villa would be saved. Liyuna did not want to die but she also could not see the 12-year-old dead in front of her.

With a hasty step, Liyuna entered into the dark forest. He did not know where to go but as he remembered near here there was a village occupied by the locals. He had to ask for help, he had to save Noel and the others.

On the way, Liyuna heard the sound of bushes being trampled. His heart was racing faster and faster, he did not dare to look back to ascertain what the sound was.

Suddenly his body was pushed back, someone pulled the scarf he was wearing so hard that it made him fall to the ground. Liyuna looked at the figure pulling her, her entire face covered by a black mask, as well as her all-black clothes.

"What do you want?" Ask Liyuna. His voice shook violently as fear had enveloped his heart.

The person did not reply, he tried to lock in Liyuna's entire movement but quickly Liyuna kicked the man's vital organs until she fell in pain.

Liyuna no longer cared, she left the scarf she was wearing and wrapped it around the man's hand quickly and fled deep into the forest.

In her heart, Liyuna could not help but swear.

When Liyuna had already confirmed that there was no one nearby, she stood up again and walked in search of the village. His body was now very dirty like a rat that splashed in a got, his body was wet with sweat and his body had many wounds due to frequent rubbing with bushes. But Liyuna did not care about this, now her task is to ask for help so that all can survive.

Being too tired, Liyuna's legs could not move properly, she suddenly slipped and fell onto a cliff and her body rolled around. Seeing that she could not avoid this, Liyuna protected her head from being hit by a rock. His head had once been injured from falling down the stairs, he could not let it hurt again.

When her body reached the bottom, Liyuna was already unconscious.

Yuriel woke up from her sleep. He looked for Liyuna who should have been sleeping beside him but unfortunately he did not find the figure he was looking for.

"Sister..." Call him in a soft voice.

He could hear voices that sounded like gunshots. Although not very clear but Yuriel really knows what the sound is because he used to hear the sound often.

"Sister!" His shouting.

Yuriel began to panic because she could not find Liyuna and the voice she had just heard, making her even more unable to think clearly.

Yvette was seen waking up when she heard Yuriel yell, she who had just woken up trying to open her eyes hang heavy.

"Yuriel, what's wrong?"

Yuriel did not reply, in such a hasty step she opened the door of her room and checked the room one by one.

"Sister!"

There is no bathroom.

"Sister!"

And also in the kitchen.

"Sister!"

In the television room there was no Liyuna.

Yuriel panicked even more, her heart racing so fast like running a marathon.

Allen who heard the commotion from his room, woke up. As he opened the room door, he saw Yuriel who was looking for Liyuna like a madman.

"Yuriel, what's wrong?" Yvette asked once more, she stood before the door of the room, rubbing her still sleepy eyes.

"Sister Noel!" Yuriel looked even more panicked when she saw Noel's room was empty.

Noel's room couldn't possibly be empty, compared to anyone else, Noel was a loyal person to Liyuna. He could not have left Liyuna.

"What's wrong?" Allen's question approached Yuriel who looked panicked.

"My brother is not in the villa!"

Hearing this, Yvette awakens, helping Yuriel find Liyuna, but the result is nil. Liyuna was not inside the villa that they occupied.

"Have you searched outside?" Ask Allen.

Hearing Allen's words, Yuriel immediately ran to the front door and opened it but she was only greeted with silence. There was no sign of Liyuna or Noel.

Yuriel was about to run towards the lake but her steps were stopped by Yvette who was now standing beside her.

"Hey, why is there a knife stuck in here?" Ask.

Allen and Yuriel quickly looked at the direction Yvette pointed at, and sure enough, there was a knife stuck in there.

Yuriel was increasingly unable to control herself, bad thoughts perched in her brain.
