Two days after the news of Eldo's death spread throughout Zen, in a quiet cafe that people rarely go to.
Allen and Yuriel were seen sitting inside the cafe, accompanied by billowing coffee smoke. The two sat facing each other.
No one spoke, they were waiting for the right moment to break the silence.
There is only one reason why today's meeting was held. Yeah, especially if it's not about the hot news?
After knowing each other's secrets, the two have reached an agreement or rather called a ceasefire.
Two people who have memories from previous lives are exchanging information and trying to cross-check repeatedly. In case something is missed.
"So what's up?" Yuriel was the first to break the silence.
In his hand was a warm cup of coffee which he held with a perfect table manner. No one can judge that he is actually the adopted son of the Castris conglomerate.
"I remember everything."
"What?"
"Those memories came to me all of a sudden."
Yuriel was silent for a moment, he tried to digest the speech that Allen was making.
"It's not the first time that time's repeated, is it?"
Yuriel was stunned to hear Allen's question. He put the cup of coffee in his hand on the table, realizing that what they were going to talk about this time was very important.
"You..." Yuriel's words were interrupted.
There was only one answer that appeared in Yuriel's mind.
"Did you see all the flashbacks of your previous life?"
"Welcome back? I'm not sure about that. To me it all feels like a real memory."
Allen recalled what it felt like when he first saw the memories of his former life.
First, second, third, until this time. He remembers everything. Unlike the flashbacks of a movie, all the memories he saw felt so real and so depressing.
"Aren't you the one who gave me a clue? Before, you had given me a clue that you knew more than me and you knew everything. Doesn't that mean you also carry other life memories?"
Yuriel fell silent again, she could not refute Allen's words.
This memory that he carries feels like a restraint that can make him realize at any time that he has made a mistake.
The restraints that made his emotions grow more and more tired.
"So where did your memory come back?"
"Everything."
"Then what is your life this time?"
"This is the fifth life. No, it looks like this is the sixth, doesn't it?"
Yuriel put on a flat face as if what Allen said was not something surprising.
For a long time Yuriel had always wondered why only he remembered everything?
Is this a punishment for him?
Punishment for his selfish actions. The punishment of what he has done, hurts and also destroys the lives of others.
Yuriel doesn't want it. From the very beginning he just wanted to feel a genuine sense of love and warmth from someone. He also wanted to be praised for his hard work.
That's all he wanted. Is it something very expensive for him?
"Why did it all end like that?"
"What?" Yuriel asked, she did not understand Allen's question.
"The end of every life. From every life I remember, why did Liyuna always end up like that?"
Yuriel's eyes were perfectly rounded. This time he could not hide his shocked expression.
"No matter who it was, only Liyuna did not survive. Why that? I'm sure you know."
"Your arrival into the Castris family, isn't that a strange thing? Karl was a father who loved his daughter very much. But suddenly he adopts a child who is out of nowhere. Come to think of it, it's really weird."
Yuriel. What Allen said was very on target. Maybe only he knows the truth behind it all because from the beginning he was involved.
They kept silent for quite a while, Yuriel also tried to calm herself down. He had to be prepared to tell Allen what he knew because it might change destiny.
Yuriel began to open her mouth, telling her about her origin and the reason why she came to Castris's residence from Karl who gave her an offer and also about her accepting the offer.
No one knows this truth. This was the first time that Yuriel had told anyone about herself. Allen was no stranger to him. In one life that was quite long, Allen had attended and supported him from behind, even though it was a deal.
Yuriel also knew how her nature was because that was why she could trust him.
When he finished telling the story, Allen looked very calm. He digested Yuriel's story with great care and attention. He couldn't play around anymore, because it might just be the last chance for them.
"Then what do you want to do after this?"
This time it was Allen's turn to be silent. He did not know what to answer because he himself had not decided what kind of step he would take.
But there was one thing that both he and Yuriel had to do.
"Surely we have to pay it, right?"
Yuriel looked at Allen's two gray eyes very seriously.
"Pay for what we've done."
Yuriel agreed with what Allen said. All they could do was pay for any mistakes they had made before.
"Then we should attract everyone to join and gather. That way, we can all anticipate the worst possible."
"That's gonna be hard. I'm not sure the others have the same memories as us."
"What do you mean say that? Looks like you forgot someone."
"???" Allen scrunched his forehead because he did not understand Yuriel's words.
"Zion..." Say Yuriel with a pause at the end.
"He's the first person we have to recruit."
"Reason?"
"Because you're his sister and the person closest to him. Solve the problem between you properly first. Don't let it be like it's ever been before."
"I'll think about it."
"You have to do it." Yuriel.
"If not who are you? I'll try to get close to that 'man'. Among others, he was the most reliable person."
Allen understood what Yuriel meant. Among others, that person was indeed the most reliable because in any situation he would always choose Liyuna's safety from others.
It was very different from her being blinded by hatred and anger.
"Are you sure you can convince him?"
"Of course, I've been holding onto his weak spot and just so you know, I've been trying to get close to him for the past four years. Even though he doesn't have the same memory as us, I'm sure that he won't be able to resist."
Allen's face instantly turned grim.
Yuriel had not changed at all, she was still the same as the one in her memories. Very cunning and manipulative, always using the weaknesses of others for his benefit.
"If you can get help from someone else you can trust. Of course they must be useful people."
"Hmm.. someone else is..."
"..."
"I think I have one."
That way the meeting of the two ends. They both agreed to gather people who could help them to change the future.
