Chapter 32 - Arrival of Yuriel I

The long-awaited day has now arrived. The prologue of the Red String game that was once played by an 18-year-old girl is now in front of her eyes.

The season changes so quickly that Liyuna forgets that this is the day that Yuriel appears. Liyuna looked at her father who was standing not far from her.

"This is Yuriel, Ma. Papa wants to adopt her so Yuna has a playmate." Karl held onto Yuriel's shoulder and told her to stand in front of him, allowing Liyuna and Sara to see the beautiful face of the eight-year-old.

Her cheeks looked round and soft, her lips were pink and her hair was straight and shiny, in contrast to Liyuna's wavy hair. Both of her eyes looked extremely large and radiant, truly deserving of being called the female lead. That boy is Yuriel, no longer wrong.

"It looks like we need to speak with four eyes." Sara said.

His face reddened in anger, both of his hands clenched so hard that it made his palms bleed as the nails pierced deeply enough.

Sara knew more than anyone that fighting in front of children would only be traumatic for them. Therefore he tried to hide his anger and act calm, but his face could not lie. As a wife and a mother, Sara felt betrayed. The man he had loved and trusted had betrayed him. Sara's heart was so blinded by anger that she couldn't think clearly.

When Karl saw his wife, he knew that the wife he loved was angry and disappointed in her. What else when he saw her face reddened by that anger, it was strange if he did not know. More than anyone, Karl understood Sara the most. The beautiful woman who is currently his wife is a kind and loving woman. But there was a line that Karl could not cross, which was to betray his trust and lie to him. This time, Charles did both.

Although Karl had already said that Yuriel was the child he was going to adopt, Sara still felt angry because she thought Karl was alone and it was impossible for Karl to adopt a child who was not related to him. Moreover, they had a daughter named Liyuna, as a mother Sara felt hurt. Sara thinks Yuriel is the child of Karl's affair with another woman. Of course, Sara could not be blamed for thinking that way because Karl adopted Yuriel without Sara's knowledge first and they had not talked about this before.

In Liyuna, there was an 18-year-old soul who understood that at this time he had to let Sara and Karl speak for one eye. As adults, Liyuna believes they can solve problems without the knowledge of children. Liyuna who saw how Sara took the initiative to get away from the children while fighting, made her feel amazed. Liyuna decided to stay away from the living room. He spontaneously held onto Yuriel's hand and smiled broadly at her.

Yuriel could not hide her surprise when Liyuna took her around. Before coming to this palace-like mansion, he thought that he was unworthy and would not be accepted. But when he saw Liyuna's smile that looked so sincere and saw her take the initiative to take her around, making his heart feel warm. That person was someone he would call a big brother, even though their age was only a few months different.

With a hesitant step, Yuriel followed Liyuna who pulled her hand gently.

Sara who saw Liyuna go away felt very grateful, she knew very well that her daughter was indeed a child who could read the situation. After Liyuna and Yuriel's backs were nowhere to be seen, Sara looked back at Karl sharply.

"Now explain it to me." Demand Sara, both hands crossed in front of the chest.

Yuriel was actually the son of a close friend, but for some reason his close friend asked Karl to take care of her.

"Keeping doesn't mean adopting, does it?"

"Yes, but I promised him."

"Why did you make such a promise? May Yuriel be your son with another woman?"

Karl who heard Sara's words felt inexhaustible. He knows that Sara suspects him but when his love is in doubt, Karl feels very sad. After all, Sara was the woman she had always loved and the woman she had taken her heart with great difficulty, where perhaps she could play with another woman.

"Please don't misunderstand me, Sara. You know how much I feel about you? Please don't doubt my feelings."

Sara who saw the earnestness of Karl began to waver a little, but eventually he could still hold on to his stance. He has to straighten all this out and do his best for his daughter.

"If not, why don't you talk to me about this first? Are you thinking about Yuna's feelings?"

"I'm sorry, it just happened. I met my friend very briefly and it's a little hard to talk to you first."

"At least tell me one day before you make a decision! Do you think my decision is not important?"

"Of course it's important. For me, your opinion is also very important. I'll explain everything to you please listen to me for a moment."

Karl began to tell her how he could take the decision to adopt Yuriel. After all, he owes Sara an explanation. He'll explain everything so Sara doesn't misunderstand me anymore.

Yuriel was the son of a close friend in the past, but for some reason they lost contact, so Sarah did not know Charles' friend. One day his best friend was so ill that he was forced to ask Karl for help. Karl who once owed his best friend a debt of gratitude could not refuse and finally took the decision to keep Yuriel because otherwise he would live a kara. His best friend had a fairly complex situation where he had no other family than Yuriel and his wife had gone to justify him from this world.

That was the explanation Karl gave Sara. Certainly not one hundred percent true. Karl could not tell Sara the truth because there was something else he had to hide for himself. Let him and Yuriel know and bear all the secrets. Karl wanted Sara and Liyuna to be kept away from the bad things that could make their lives miserable. That's why he can only explain about something that he thinks could protect Sara from outside threats.

Although Karl lied a little, in reality he did consider Sara and Liyuna to be the most precious treasures he had to protect. All Sara had to do right now was trust her husband and keep moving forward.

But Sara can't do that right now. He chose to calm down in the studio and left the house, so his mind would be clear again and he could see things from a different point of view. The woman who is already a mother needs a little time to be able to do all that.
