Chapter 147 - The Rescue Squad

The sea breeze is blowing increasingly faster, as the night becomes.

Liyuna began to feel a coldness piercing to her bones. He himself was not sure if he could hold on a little longer. The injuries from the accident that had not been felt before, now began to make Liyuna in pain. His body was hit by a truck.

Even so he cannot give up. Though he had come this far, Liyuna should be able to endure to the end.

Harry walked over to Liyuna, but Biern, who was in front of him, raised the dagger in his hand as a warning.

"Ah, you're the one who helped her, huh?"

Seeing Biern, Harry remembered the words of the staff who reported him.

A guest who helped Liyuna escape. So he's the one.

Harry stared at Biern's face for a moment, then his eyes flashed a brief glow, as if he had just recognized something.

"You... Aren't you that guy?"

Biern's face did not change at all hearing Harry's words.

"Why are you here?" Harry's facial expression changed rapidly, his eyes bulging and his lips forming a grin that was so frightening.

"You've been spying on Cerberus' activities for a long time. I'm letting you out because you don't seem to want to ruin my business. But what is this? You're working with Castris?"

Liyuna looked at Biern. She did not recognize who Biern was, so it was impossible for her to help just because Liyuna was part of the Castris family.

"Don't misunderstand me. I have nothing to do with the Castris family." Biern started to open his voice.

He didn't care what Harry said, but it seemed like he had to buy some time.

Biern's eyes were pointed at a bulge that was behind the suit that Harry was wearing.

A revolver. Biern's guess can't be wrong. It seems he should start being careful. It would be difficult if Harry had already started playing with firearms.

"It has nothing to do with it? Then how do you explain your current actions?"

"Only, I can't stand watching you torture a minor."

Harry's laughter sounded so scary. Liyuna could feel the implied ridicule.

Suddenly, such a loud clashing sound was heard. From the back, Liyuna could see Nava's figure. He deftly paralysed some of the guards there and attempted to get close to Harry.

Feon, who had been silent since then, stopped Nava's movements. Their fists pitted against each other, but Nava did not lose.

He can balance Feon who is Harry's right hand. Even so if this situation continued, Nava would definitely lose.

Harry glanced back, looking at who Feon was fighting.

"What is your subordinate? It's also great you guys can get this far."

That's not a compliment. Harry said it with a sarcastic tone that mocked.

As Harry was about to press the revolver, a blade shot out at high speed, making him unleash the revolver reflexively.

"Leader!!" Shouted Feon worriedly.

"God! A dog that can't protect its master deserves to be thrown away." Ejek Nava on Feon who was judged incompetent.

"I'll kill you!" Feon's voice started to sound very frightening. His eyes sharpened like a knife ready to be used to cut meat.

On the other hand, Harry who had been watching his bleeding hand had also started to move back.

He snapped his finger. Then, moments later a group of guards in black clothes locked Liyuna and Biern up until they had no way out anymore.

"Biern!" Shouted Nava worried when he saw the siege made by Harry.

"Where did you take your eyes off?!" Seeing the opportunity, Feon immediately repulsed Nava until his body bounced back to the wall.

He glanced at the direction Biern was at, but Nava did not find his figure as it was blocked by the sea of guards in black.

Feon walked over to Nava. He stepped on his back so he could not move.

"Basic amateur. This is the result if you lose focus while fighting."

Nava could not dispute the remark. As someone who has been professionally trained, he admitted his mistakes.

Nava is too soluble in feelings. He shouldn't be worried about Biern. Compared to anyone else, Nava knows best about Biern's powers.

"Just give up, there's no way out anymore." Harry suggested.

He stepped on the revolver that had fallen with his feet, like he had no intention of taking it back.

"Rush up? That word was never in my dictionary."

"That's it, huh? Too bad."

Harry ordered his subordinates to make Biern and Liyuna more and more cornered, they walked closer and shrank the distance.

When one of the guards closest to Liyuna attempted to grab her, Biern repulsed the man.

It seems like Biern has already made his decision this time. He tried to repulse the troops Harry was carrying away from Liyuna.

Looking at Biern who was starting to fight, of course the guards did not let him just like that.

Since they had already been cornered, the guards did not feel worried about Liyuna's presence. They knew that Liyuna would not be able to escape, so they would focus on Biern first.

The great barrier wall must be removed.

Liyuna who saw the chaos, tried to stay away. He knew that Biern was trying to attract the attention of the guards so as not to disturb him.

However, seeing Harry's gaze that seemed to have no problem with it gave Liyuna goosebumps.

He was desperate and didn't know what else to do.

He could only hope that Karl could find him as soon as possible.

From a distance, amid the sound of waves that continue to be heard. There was a noise that made Liyuna subconsciously look for her.

Such a familiar voice. Liyuna had heard this voice up close.

Suddenly, from behind, someone grabbed his head.

"Aac!!!" Liyuna who was in pain could not help the screams that came out of her mouth.

Her hair was pulled back by one of the guards, then her body was smashed so hard into the iron barrier, making Liyuna's gaze start to twitch.

He stared down, looking at the violent waves of the night that were dusting.

Ending already, with just a single push, Liyuna would definitely fall over. And if that happened, it was certain that Liyuna would die.

His second life that he had maintained all this time, was about to end.

'CONSCIOUSLY! LIAUNA!!'

The sound of screaming resuscitated Liyuna. It was a voice belonging to the original, grown-up Liyuna. Liyuna in a red dress she often met in dreams.

'No! I can't die now!'

After being aware of her bad thoughts, Liyuna tried to rebel. But his strength was not strong enough especially after everything he had gone through.

When Liyuna's body began to be pushed, suddenly the heavy burden that was overpowering her disappeared.

Looking at the hole, Liyuna knew what had just happened. He's been dead. Someone shot him.

Liyuna bit her lower lip until it bled. He tried not to scream and panic.

His eyes were staring at the shooting. Although he did not hear the gunshots, Liyuna knew that there was a shot from the direction of the noise.

"What?! What the hell just happened?"

"He's shot!!"

"Someone shot him!!"

Harry's subordinates, who had seen his colleague dead, began to search for the source of the gunfire. But they could see no one in the dark sea of night.

In contrast to them, Harry's focus was instantly distracted by an object that was beginning to approach the ship.

His eyes narrowed at the object that came out of nowhere.

Liyuna's blue eyes, caught a familiar object in the air. A helicopter.

The rescue team has arrived!

Unknowingly Liyuna's eyes were a little teary from being moved. It must be the army Karl sent for him.

Thankfully, it seemed like he could still survive a little longer.
